so, the basic thing that i am looking help with finding, is.... at the last point that either israel or judah had a king, what were the requirements of that king to prepare himself for the office. there is a passage in deuternomy that includes them rewriting the book of the law in the presence of the levites, so that the future king would not just have a passing understanding of the law, but the deeper understanding of meditating on the truest understanding of the law by way of handwriting a copy of it.
is there anything else along these lines? in the bible? does anyone know the talmud and what this jewish annex might add?
Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that **FAITH** has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW!!"
Romans 3:21-25: But now a righteousness from God, **APART FROM THE LAW**, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes **THROUGH FAITH** in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by **HIS GRACE** through the **REDEMPTION** that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Him as a **SACRIFICE OF ATONEMENT**, **THROUGH FAITH IN HIS BLOOD**!!
Ephesians 2:6-19: For it is by grace you are saved, through **FAITH**---and this is **NOT** from yourselves, it is the **GIFT OF GOD**---not by works so that no one can boast. For we are **GOD'S HANDIWORK**, created in Christ Jesus to do **GOOD WORKS**, which God prepared in advance for us to do!!
Titus 2:11-14: For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say "No," to ungodliness and worldly passion and to live self-controlled **UPRIGHT AND GODLY LIVES** in this present age, while we wait for the **BLESSED HOPE**--the glorious appearing of our **GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR** Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to **REDEEM** and to purify Himself a people that are **HIS VERY OWN**, **EAGER TO DO WHAT IS GOOD**!!
**SAD**lup does not believe that Jesus is God and that His blood atones for our sins for if Jesus was just a human being His blood could not make **ATONEMENT FOR OUR SINS**!!

We all like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us **ALL**! {Both OT and NT SAINTS since the OT animal sacrifices could never take away sins!!!}
The three original kings of Israel were Saul, David and Solomon. After the death of Solomon, the ten northern tribes revolted and established the kingdom of Israel in the north. The remaining tribes remained loyal to the son of Solomon and formed the Kingdom of Judah in the south. The kings of Judah were all related to King David. After one of these kings of Judah died their **FIRSTBORN SON** usually became king. The last king of Judah ended with the 70-year Babylonian captivity of the Jews which began in 523BC.
The 18 kings of Israel after Solomon were all very evil and Israel was conquered by the Assyrians around 700BC. There were 20 kings of Judah after Solomon and 14 were evil kings and 6 were good righteous kings: The names of the good kings were Asa, Jehoshaphet, Uzziah, Jotham Hezekiah and the best was Josiah.
The next and Last Jewish King after 523 BC was the King of kings and the Son of God and was also from the lineage of David and was anointed in AD 29!!
During the 1260-day Great Tribulation 666 will anoint 10 kings over the 10 most powerful nations of the world who will rule the world until the 2nd Coming of Jesus and then after the marriage Feast of the Lamb Jesus will mount a great white horse and all his saints will follow Him on heavenly white horses and they will defeat the 10 evil kings and their armies who had come to Armageddon and then encircled Jerusalem.{See Revelation 19:7-21}
Revelation 17:14: They will wage war against the **LAMB** but the **LAMB** will triumph over them because He is **LORD** of lords and **KING** of kings--and with Him will be His **CALLED** **CHOSEN** and **FAITHFUL** followers!
Isaiah 9:6,7: For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God and Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of His government and Peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and **FOREVER. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this!
