Faith in Jesus alone and what he did on the Cross is what's necessary for our salvation. Man couldn't keep the Law. Works won't save you, only FAiTH in Jesus Christ. Good Works are a product of Faith in Jesus. Post Reply

But only a true Christian believes he rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father. Torah IS the first five books of the Bible. A Greek would call it the Pentateuch. The TNKH or the Tanach is the complete Old Testament. -It's an acronym with added vowels: T = Torah/Teaching = 5 Books/Moses N = Nevium = The Prophets K = Ketuvim = The Writings -TaNaKh- ^^^^^^^^THIS is where 75% of YOUR Bible comes from! And the last 25% (the New Testament) quotes or alludes to the TaNaKh almost 1000 times! There's your Hebrew lesson for the day. But, yes I know.....you have no use for Jewish knowledge. I am actually here to meet a nice man to have conversation and coffee. I will get to Heaven because I understand what I need to do. I am certain there are chat rooms devoted to religion. I can have decent conversations with Christians. I have 3 Jewish friends I can discuss with. However, YOU are trying to be BOTH. you cannot be a Christian and use the Torah as your guide. Before every exile of Israel God sent people calling for national repentance. God even sent Jonah to Gentile Nineveh!
