Hebrews 10:32-36: Remember those earlier days after you had received the Light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering. Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly **REWARDED**. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you receive what He has promised!
Most of the self called pastors proclaim a works based salvation namely.
1. You need to know you are a sinner(Actually people a SINFUL).
2. You need to confess your sins.
3. You need to repent of your sins.
4. You need to trust Messiah.
This FORMULA for salvation is based upon what a person does, not who Messiah is or what He has done. Many 'christians' spew this formula along with a testimony of what Messiah had done in their lives. This is not the Gospel, nor is it being a Witness OF Messiah.
Yes we are to know who Christ is and what He has done, receiving Him, power to receive Him, as the world cannot receive Him. Power to those who believe in His name, who are born not of man, but born of God.
Every one that is born of Him, DOES TRUTH..
So we are to be His sons and daughters, we need to be born, because before you are born you can know nothing. Being born new, not the old man that is corrupt, but born and the new man is immediately not corrupt.

Born again by the uncorruptible word of God, hearing that word also cleans us and opens our eyes, and writes the law in our heart and mind as we receive the Holy Ghost immediately for purpose, it mkes no sense does it, to receive the Spirit of Christ for no effect?
