Abraham believed God and it was counted to be so.

"What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? Abraham *believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. 5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works: 7 Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.

*The Greek word is pisteuo (Strong's G4100) which is translated into the English word believed.

"pist-yoo'-o; from G4102; to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), i.e. credit; by implication, to entrust (especially one's spiritual well-being to Christ):believe(-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with."

He who *believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:18 The word believe in John 3:18 is the same root word from Romans 4:3

The English word repent comes from 8 different Greek and Hebrew words. Make sure you know which Greek or Hebrew word is being used, and make sure you use the correct meaning for each word. To say you must repent is to say nothing, as there are so many different meanings. You must not simply fall back on the word repent as a coverall, for every situation.

1 Corinthians 14 is crystal clear about the necessity of giving a clear message: "But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching? 7 Even things without life, whether flute or harp, when they make a sound, unless they make a distinction in the sounds, how will it be known what is piped or played? 8 For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle? 9 So likewise you, unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air."

If you use the single English word "repent", and are not specific with regard to the original word in its proper context, you will be speaking, as it says in this passage, to the air, and not unto men, because no one will know what exactly you are trying to say.

The most common appearance of the English word repent in the New Testament, comes from the Greek words metaneo and metanoia. The root word means to change your mind. It does not mean be sorry or turn from sin. The change of mind that needs to occur is a change from unbelief to belief. Again, see John 3:18. This is the "biblical repentance" necessary for salvation.

JESUS DECLARED THAT **ALL FOODS ARE NOW CLEAN**

Colossians 2:16,17: Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you **EAT** or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a **SABBATH DAY**. These are a *SHADOW* of the things that were to come, the reality, however, is found in Christ!!! {TNT & the SDA disagree with these inspired words of God!}

Mark 7:18-23: Jesus says, "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him unclean? For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body!" By saying this Jesus declared **ALL FOODS CLEAN**!! He went on "What comes out of a man is what makes him unclean. For from within , out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man unclean!" {ADAM7777 disagree with these inspired words of God and try to explain it away by saying it only has to do with unclean hands {???}which was mentioned earlier in Mark 7}

Acts 10:9-16: Peter went up on the roof to pray. He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by the four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. Then a Voice told him, "Get up, Peter, kill and **EAT**!" "Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean." The Voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that **GOD HAS MADE CLEAN**!"{As per Mark 7:19 above) This happened **THREE TIMES**!, and the sheet was taken back to heaven!

I Timothy 4:1-5: The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through **HYPOCRITICAL LIARS**, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them **TO ABSTAIN FROM CERTAIN FOODS**, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything God created is good, and **NOTHING IS TO BE REJECTED** if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer!!

I Corinthians 10:25: Eat **ANYTHING** sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, for, "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it!"

Lobster Tail, Shrimp and Ham are now yum yum yummy and are so good for your tummy!! :-)))

Actually TNT you have apparently forgotten that the forbidding to eat certain animals birds and fish was strictly in the OT Covenant for Jews. According to Noah's Covenant and Adam's Covenant God allowed people to eat everything with the breath of life in it!!!!!

God's First Covenant with Adam:

Genesis 1:29,30: Then God said, "give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it They will be yours for food. And to **ALL THE BEASTS OF THE EARTH** and **ALL** the birds of the air and **ALL** the creatures that move on the ground--**EVERYTHING** that has the breath of life in it..for food!"

God's Second Covenant with Noah:

Genesis 9:1-3: Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea, they are given to your hands. **EVERYTHING** that lives and moves will be **FOOD FOR YOU**!!

Luke 16:16: Jesus says, "The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. {The Baptist}. Since that time, the good news of the Kingdom of God is being preached!!"

John 1:17: For the Law was given through Moses, and Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ!"

Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW!!" {ADAM7777 disagrees with these inspired words of God!! since he believes we are still under the supervision of OT Law!}

I Corinthians 9:20,21: Paul said, "To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law though **I MYSELF AM NOT UNDER THE LAW**, so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law though I am not free from God's law but **AM UNDER CHRIST'S LAW!!"

Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus says, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to obey **EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU!!" {Which would include all His changes to OT laws!!}

John 13:34,35: Jesus says, "A **NEW COMMAND I give you: Love one another, **AS I HAVE LOVED YOU**, so you **MUST** love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples!!" John 15:12:14: Jesus says, "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that **HE LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS**. You are My friends if you do what I command!!" {So here Jesus replaces the OT law of just loving your neighbor as you love yourself!}

I John 1:8-10; 2:1-5: If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify ourselves from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned we make Him out to be a liar and His word has no place in our hearts... If anybody does sin we have One who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins...We know we have come to know Him if we obey **HIS COMMANDS**. The man who says, "I know Him," but do not do what **HE COMMANDS** is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys **HIS WORD**, God's love is truly made complete in Him. This is how we know we are in Him.

"Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

No, Peter did not say Repent. Peter said Metanoeō if he was speaking in Greek, or possibly the Aramaic word found here http:peshitta.org/pdf/Actsch2.pdf, which, there is no way to show on this forum. He absolutely did not use the English word repent in his address to the crowd.

As is self evident, the scriptures were translated into English. To show the original language word, is to use a much more precise word without the baggage of the other original Hebrew and Greek words' other meanings conglomerated into a single word. Sometimes people use repent, when they mean, turn from sin, or be sorry, or change your mind, or other meanings; but in so doing, the lack the specificity required by the Lord, as stated in 1 Corinthians 14, that our words be "EASY to understand". When you use such as word as the English word repent, you are using an unclear word, which is used to express conflicting ideas from the original Hebrew and Greek texts. God says to stop using such words, and use words "EASY to understand. We must defer to His command, and no longer use this word which generates such confusion, and is not easy to understand. When God is specific in the use of words, we must equal His specific intent with words that correctly correlate to His specific words.

Repentance, to stop doing wrong, and have your wrong, (sins) forgiven and ended. To be worthy of forgiveness, (considering yourself already worthy is nothing) and to give instead of taking now...

Luke 3:3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;

Luke 3:7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Luke 3:10 And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?

11 He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.

12 Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?

13 And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.

14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

Christ prepared the ways of the Lord for us all, giving knowledge of salvation, by the forgiveness of our sins. So we stop sinning, a complete remission, as that is thew Holiness we are called to believe in, the Holy Ghost..

Luke 1:76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Adam7777 said, "Repentance, to stop doing wrong, and have your wrong, (sins) forgiven and ended. To be worthy of forgiveness, (considering yourself already worthy is nothing) and to give instead of taking now..."

"Is not turning from sin a work which man does?

Did I hear you correctly that turning from sin, is required to gain salvation?

If I did hear that correctly, could you please explain to me what part of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and trusting in His work alone includes me turning from sin to gain salvation?

I was taught that the works of man are not part of salvation, as the cessation of man's efforts and total reliance on Christ first last and only is what is required to gain salvation. It seems to me then, that to require me to turn from sin to gain salvation is to include my works as part of the salvation process. I thought that was expressly excluded in Titus 3:3-7. Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His mercy He saved us.

For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we (me, I, myself) have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

In the book of Jonah KJV

repent- 1 time Jonah 3:9 Maybe God will repent

repentance- 0 times

repented- 1 time Jonah 3:10 God did repent

repentest- 0 times

repenteth- 0 times

repenting- 0 times

repentings- 0 times

No other mention of any other form of the word repent in Jonah.

Verse 5 of chapter 3. the people of Nineveh "believed" God, the same exact word used to describe what Abram did when he believed God in Gen 15:6. They came to saving faith. They "aman"ed God.

AFTER believing God, they turned from their sin. First salvation, THEN, AND ONLY THEN, is turning from sin profitable.

Jonah 3:9 Who can tell 3045 [if] God 430 will turn 7725 and repent 5162, and turn away 7725 from his fierce 2740 anger 639, that we perish 6 not?

5162 nacham -

1) to be sorry, console oneself, repent, regret, comfort, be comforted

a) (Niphal)

1) to be sorry, be moved to pity, have compassion

2) to be sorry, rue, suffer grief, repent

3) to comfort oneself, be comforted

4) to comfort oneself, ease oneself

b) (Piel) to comfort, console

c) (Pual) to be comforted, be consoled

d) (Hithpael)

1) to be sorry, have compassion

2) to rue, repent of

3) to comfort oneself, be comforted

4) to ease oneself

In Jonah 3:9, a hoped for act of God

Jonah 3:10 an act of God

Why insert the word repent into the discussion when it is not part of the text as something for man to do, and only clouds the issues?

The only mention in the book of Jonah of turning from sin comes from multiple words, not a single word which is translated into repent, and happens 3 verses AFTER people have come to saving faith in God, and those 2 words are in fact separated by a 3rd word in this text.

Jon 3:8 But let man 120 and beast 929 be covered 3680 with sackcloth 8242, and cry 7121 mightily 2394 unto God 430: yea, let them turn 7725 every one 376 from his evil 7451 way 1870, and from the violence 2555 that [is] in their hands 3709." None of these things is repent 5162. Jonah 3:9 Who can tell 3045 [if] God 430 will turn 7725 and repent 5162, and turn away 7725 from his fierce 2740 anger 639, that we perish 6 not?

Trusting in the work of Christ, His works His testimonies, unless we are born of God, of the Spirit, we cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven. The problem with this testimony and all of Christs words of righteousness of Heaven, is His witness cannot be received. We need to believe on Christ. believe He is light, coming to Christ, to the light, reproving our deeds, (repenting) the evil deeds we do, and if we truly believe in Christ's righteousness, our deeds need to be manifested, made into light, which is the work of God. If we hate our brother, working sin against him, we have remained in darkness, and did not believe in the works of Christ at all, He is the true light and we need to love our broither doing righteousness to abide in His Light..

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John 3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 3:32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.

33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

1 John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

"No other mention of any other form of the word repent in Jonah"

"AFTER believing God, they turned from their sin. First salvation, THEN, AND ONLY THEN, is turning from sin profitable."

"5162 nacham -

1) to be sorry, console oneself, repent, regret, comfort, be comforted "

Now we shall examine more carefully. The kings behavior. Stopping eating or drinking. Clothing in sackcloth. Turning from evil doing. God saw their works, of turning from evil doing, and then God destroyed them not. That is believing God, as the people of Ninevah displayed how they sincerely believed, as in Matthew 12 and Luke 11, the men of Nineveh repented AT THE PREACHING, OF JONAH, but this wicked generation does not repent, proven in you god is my father vainly trying to stop repentence, which you cannot but do sow yourself for what you are over and over...

Jonah 3:4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

Jonah 3:6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.

9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Jonah 3:5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

Luke 11:32 The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

Jeremiah 6:13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

14 They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

18 Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.

19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

"THERE IS NO LONGER ANY SACRIFICE FOR SIN!!!" HEBREWS 10:18!!

Quote from ADAM7777:

"No sacrifice, no king, no prince, until latter days of Christ. Then our PRINCE arrived, the King of Kings, and the sacrifice was made and **CONTINUED???, as we sought the Lord and David our King, fearing the Lord and His goodness. Christ the living stone was disallowed of men, we are lively stones and offer spiritual, living sacrifices from our Holy Priesthood to God by Jesus Christ."

Now everyone agrees that God's born from above saints, washed in the blood of the Lamb; are commanded to make spiritual sacrifices in the New Covenant. However, God's Word clearly states dozens of times that Jesus Christ put an **END TO ALL SACRIFICES **FOR SIN**. According to OT Law there were thousands of animal sacrifices **FOR SIN** since without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin. But the sacrifices God's saints make in the NT are never **CONTINUED** sacrifices for sin since Jesus put an end to all sacrifices for sin!!

The reason God's saints make sacrifices and do good works is not for the forgiveness of sins but to thank God for His free gift of eternal life and to gain countless eternal rewards for faithful and loving service!

Hebrews 10:11-18: Day after day every priest performs his religious duties again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this Priest had offered for all time **ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS**, He sat down at the right hand of God... Because by **ONE SACRIFICE** He has made ***PERFECT FOREVER*** those who are being made holy. The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time says the Lord. I will put My laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds." The he adds" Their sins and lawless acts I will remember **NO MORE**." And when these have been forgiven , there is **NO LONGER ANY SACRIFICE FOR SIN**!!

Ephesians 1:5-8: In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will--to the praise of His **GLORIOUS GRACE**, which He has freely given us in the One He loves. In Him we have **REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD**, the **FORGIVENESS OF SINS**, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding!

Ephesians 2:4-10: Because of His great **LOVE** for us, God,, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is **BY GRACE** you have been saved! And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is **BY GRACE** you have been saved, through faith-- and this **NOT FROM YOURSELVES**, it is the **GIFT** of God--**NOT BY WORKS**, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do!

Hebrews 9:25-28: Nor did He enter heaven to offer Himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place with blood that is not his own. Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now He has appeared **ONCE FOR ALL** at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Just as man is destined to die once , and after that to face judgment, so Christ was **SACRIFICED ONCE TO TAKE AWAY THE SINS OF MANY PEOPLE**!!

Hebrews 7:27: Unlike the other high priests, He does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for His own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He **SACRIFICED FOR THEIR SINS ONCE FOR ALL** when He offered Himself!!

Hebrews 10:8-10: First He said, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire although the Law required them to be made. Then He said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will." He set aside the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been made holy through the **SACRIFICE OF THE BODY OF JESUS ONCE FOR ALL**!!

Galatians 2:14-16: Paul said, When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs? We who are Jews by birth and not 'Gentile sinners' know that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because **BY OBSERVING THE LAW NO ONE WILL BE JUSTIFIED**!"

Galatians 2:20,21: The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

Galatians 3:10-13: "All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."** CLEARLY NO ONE IS JUSTIFIED BEFORE GOD BY THE LAW**, because, "The righteous will live by faith." The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them." Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us!

Hebrews 7:18,19: The former regulation is SET ASIDE because it was weak and useless; for the law made nothing perfect, and a **BETTER HOPE** is introduced, by which we draw near to God.!

Revelation 5:9: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slain, and **WITH YOUR BLOOD YOU PURCHASED MEN FOR GOD** from every tribe and language and people and nation!!"

Isaiah 53:5,6: But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and **THE LORD HAS LAID ON HIM THE INIQUITY OF US ALL**!!

I Peter 1:1,19: For you know that it was no with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were **REDEEMED** from the empty way of life handed down to you by you forefathers, but with the **PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST**, a Lamb without blemish or defect!!

Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be **JUSTIFIED BY FAITH**. Now that faith has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW!!" {Adam777 disagrees with these inspired words of God! He believes we are still under **SUPERVISION OF OT LAW!}

I Corinthians 9:20,21: Paul said, "To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law though **I MYSELF AM NOT UNDER THE LAW**, so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law though I am not free from God's law but **AM UNDER CHRIST'S LAW**!!"

The reason God's saints make sacrifices and do good works is not for the forgiveness of sins but to thank God for His free gift of eternal life and to gain countless eternal rewards for faithful and loving service!"

Yes everybody agrees we make sacrifices. Everybody agrees we are the circumcision of the heart, everybody agrees we keep the feast of unleavened bread, with the leven of sincerity and truth. In fact everybody agrees, everything we saw in the letter of the law, is fulfilled in us by the Spirit.

Christ sacrificed His body, we also sacrifice our bodys, in love for our brethren. Our blood also is spilled, and of course our bod is a living sacrifice, until it is dead by laying our lives down. We do not take anyones sins away, because Christ is propitiation for sins, continuing to advocate for us to the Father, as seen in Revelations, seen in slain form, the Lord satisfied by the offering, His soul is a continued offering for sin, because He continues to make intercession for the transgressors. Also seeing you worship the beast, you cannot recognise the Lamb was slain FROM, the foundation of the world and continues AS HE HAD BEEN SLAIN...

Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Revelation 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Do you not know you are found out to be false, and an accuser, covetous, loving your self only, a boaster and proud, highminded and heady, blaspheming naming the Lords Holy Apostles as sinners, disobedient, no affection, fierce, and you despise the good word a traitor, a reward pleasure seeker, without power in the Lords word with a form of godliness only...

2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

"Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be **JUSTIFIED BY FAITH**. Now that faith has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW!!" {Adam777 disagrees with these inspired words of God! He believes we are still under **SUPERVISION OF OT LAW!}"

"Now everyone agrees that God's born from above saints, washed in the blood of the Lamb; are commanded to make spiritual sacrifices in the New Covenant"

Sacrifices, circumcision of the heart, feast of leven of sincerity and truth. The law led us to Christ, to continue through Christs Spirit....

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

"The reason God's saints make sacrifices and do good works is not for the forgiveness of sins but to thank God for His free gift of eternal life and to gain countless eternal rewards for faithful and loving service"

The reason saints sacrifice their body's and lives, is so they do not crucify Christ afresh to themselves, and the love of God thanks and glorifies the Lord, who has given the gift of His love here, so we see the Lords goodness is performed by us, giving ourselves for others, not selfishness and greed as per prophetic/god is my father, with faithful lip service...

Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

To do good is a sacrifice, but you show you do not believe in the good Christ did, to help others hurts us and is very costly, but love cannot do any other way...

Hebrews 13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Hebrew 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

THE FATHER LOVES HIS FAITHFUL SAINTS JUST AS MUCH AS HE LOVES JESUS!!

John 17:23: Jesus says to His Father, "You sent Me and have **LOVED THEM** even as you **LOVED** Me!!"

JESUS LOVES HIS FAITHFUL SAINTS JUST AS MUCH AS THE FATHER LOVES HIM!!

John 15:9,10" Jesus says, "As the Father **LOVED** Me, so I have **LOVED** you!! Now remain in My **LOVE. **IF** you obey My commands, you will remain in My **LOVE**, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in His **LOVE**!"

John 14:21,23: Jesus says, "Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who **LOVES** Me! He who loves Me will be **LOVED** by My Father, and I will **LOVE** him....If anyone **LOVES** Me, he will obey My teaching. My Father will **LOVE** him, and we will come to him and make Our home with him!!"

WHAT'S **LOVE** GOT TO DO WITH IT??

I Peter 1:22: "Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere **LOVE** for your brothers, **LOVE** one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again... through the living and enduring Word of God!

I Corinthians 13:2,4-8: If I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not **LOVE** I am nothing...**LOVE** is patient, **LOVE** is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. **LOVE** does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. **LOVE** never fails!!"

John 13:34: Jesus says, "A NEW command I give you: **LOVE** one another As I have **LOVED** you, so you must **LOVE** one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples."

Matthew 28:19.20 Jesus commands, Go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to *OBEY EVERYTHING* I have commanded you! {See I John 2:3-5}

EVERYTHING would also include all the other commands in God's inspired Word from Acts to Revelation as per 2 Timothy 3:16: 4:2: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work...Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction."

If we really **LOVE** our brothers and sister in Christ we will lovingly teach them to obey all the approximately 400 commands of the NT with **LOVE** in the hope of countless eternal rewards when Jesus comes with great power with all His angels.

Revelation 22:112: Jesus says, "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done!?

Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, For the Son of Man is going to come in His **FATHER'S GLORY WITH HIS ANGELS**, and **THEN** He will reward each person according to what he has done."

Ephesians 4:15: "Speaking the Truth in **LOVE**, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ! From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in **LOVE**, as each part does its work."

Ephesians 3:17-19: "I pray that you, being rooted and established in **LOVE** may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the **LOVE** of Christ, and to know this **LOVE** that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God!!"

"WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH WHICH IS THE FREE GIFT OF GOD--NOT BY WORKS SO THAT NO ONE CAN BOAST!!"

FOR WE ARE GOD'S WORKMANSHIP, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS TO DO **GOOD WORKS**, WHICH GOD PREPARED IN ADVANCE FOR US TO DO!!

Everyone agrees that "**FAITH** without **GOOD WORKS ** is dead!" as per James 2:17. However, the reason that God's born again from above saints do good works and make sacrifices is **NOT TO BE SAVED** but to bring **MUCH PRAISE** to our Father and Jesus Christ and to gain countless **ETERNAL REWARDS** for faithful and loving service.

Matthew 5:16: Jesus says, "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and **PRAISE YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN**!!"

Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, The Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels and THEN He will **REWARD** each person according to what he has done!

2 Corinthians 5:9,10: We make it our goal to please Him... for we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive **WHAT IS DUE HIM** for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

1 Corinthians 3:13-15: His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives , he will receive his **REWARD**. If it is burned up he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

Colossians 3:23-25: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a **REWARD**. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.

I Corinthians 9:24-27: Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes in to strict training. They do it to get a **CROWN** that will not last; but we do it to get a **CROWN THAT WILL LAST FOREVER**! Therefore, I do not run like a man running aimlessly. I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize!

2 John 1:8: Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be **REWARDED** fully!.

Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be **JUSTIFIED BY FAITH**. Now that faith has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW!!"

Our LOVE needs to abound more and more in knowledge and in the JUDGMENT of the Lord, for He shall have judgement without mercy, if we have no mercy...

Philippians 1:9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

James 2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment

"Everyone agrees that "**FAITH** without **GOOD WORKS ** is dead!" as per James 2:17. However, the reason that God's born again from above saints do good works and make sacrifices is **NOT TO BE SAVED** but to bring **MUCH PRAISE** to our Father and Jesus Christ and to gain countless **ETERNAL REWARDS** for faithful and loving service."

Our light shines before men, when we do well and not do the unfruitful works of darkness, we must have no part dark, or we are darkness. We are the planting of the Lord, tress of righteousness, to bring Him glory, if we bring forth evil fruit we are not His tree. Matthew 7:18

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Luke 11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.

36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Our good works are example to people, to stop their evil works, so they can glorify God in the day of visitation/judgment, and not be destroyed. We glorify God in our body, and it is no glory to God to accept all in fairness, it is glory when we return evil with good.

1 Peter 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Peter 2:20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

We suffer as Christians, and we glorify God in this. We commit the keeping of our souls to the Lord in well doing,(good works.) When we fear the Lord we give Him glory, fearing His judgments and obeying Him. In Revelation we see men refuse to repent of their idolatry, an covetousness, and fornication and thefts, the repenting gives God glory...

1 Peter 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Revelation 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Revelation 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

Revelation 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

When we do not feed the hungry, or cloth the naked, help the sick and strangers, we have turned away from Christ. But, if we turn to our own brothers and sisters, all people and help, this glorifies God, and the glory of the Lord is our reward. We are not saved by being hateful, but by being in the Love of God, (what's love got to do with it.)

Isaiah 58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

Matthew 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Instead of glorying the Lord, we shame Him, when we love vanity, and behave ungodly. We need to glorify the Lord through holiness. We need to SWEAR, by the God of truth, ONLY THEY SHALL GLORY...

Psalms 4:2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.

3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

Psalms 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Psalms 63:11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

Isaiah 65:16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

Give to the Lord glory and STRENGTH, worship in holiness, His strength is made perfect in weakness, our infirmities glorify the Lord. If we suffer with Christ we will be glorified together with Him..

Psalms 96:7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

Psalms 105:3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

To glory is to know the Lord delights in lovingkindness, judgment and righteousness, and if we do not do these ways of the Lord, then instead of glory and saved, it is cursing and death. W fear before His name, we do truth, not iniquity, (sins) and walk with God in equity.

Jeremiah 9:24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

Malachi 2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.

6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.

When we do our works in front of men to be seen of them, we have our reward already. It is glory of men, which does not glorify the Lord. So unless we glorify the Lord, we will receive no reward of eternal life. When we speak of ourselves, we seek only self glory, to search for glory for ourselves is not glory at all, because the Lord has stained all the pride of glory, and all honourable men are contemptible..

Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

John 7:18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Proverbs 25:27 It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.

Isaiah 23:9 The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.

By well doing, we seek for glory and eternal life, and when we do not obey the truth, we are rewarded indignation and wrath, we glorify the Father when we confess Jesus Christ is Lord, and wen we name the name of the Lord we must depart from iniquity,(sinning) As we need to walk WORTHY, of God who has called us to His glory.

Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

1 Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

The Lord makes us perfect in every good work to do His will, what is well pleasing in is sight, mercy and meekness to everyone through His love, through Jesus Christ. We need to be part taker of Christs suffering, reproached for the name of Christ, and then the Spirit of Glory rests on us as they speak evil of the Lord wrongly. Necessity is on us to preach the Gospel, no glory, woe is to us otherwise..

Hebrews 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

1 Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

1 Corinthians 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

Prophetic/god is my father:

"Jesus also says in Mathew 5:27,28: "You have head that it was said , 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery in his heart!"

And so Jesus completely changed and added to the OT Laws of Moses on Adultery!"

"Now everyone agrees that God's born from above saints, washed in the blood of the Lamb; are commanded to make spiritual sacrifices in the New Covenant."

The person who shouts and shouts about the law of Moses being finished, also admits we make spiritual sacrifices, also that Jesus added to the Law on adultery, (to fulfill it) and he cannot deny circumcision is in the heart, or that we keep the feast of unleavened bread by the leaven of sincerity and truth. Because God did not change the law altogether, but adapted the entire law so we do no sinful lawless deeds, with the law written in our heart, plus, we keep the righteousness of the law, sacrificing our body, by circumcising our heart, and keeping all to the Lord in sincere love and His Spirit of truth.

Revelation 21:1-5: Then I saw a New heaven and a New Earth, for the {present} first heaven and first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the **NEW JERUSALEM**, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making **EVERYTHING NEW**!" Then He said, "Write this down, for these words are TRUSTWORTHY and TRUE!"

2 Peter 3:10-13: But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will DISAPPEAR with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and *EVERYTHING* in it will be burned up {NIV}. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you wait eagerly for the Day of God to come. {NIV} That Day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with His promise **WE** {Excluding the Preterists and the RC church} are looking forward to a New heavens and a New Earth, the home of righteousness.

Hebrews 11:13-16: All these people {Abraham, Sarah Isaac, Jacob, Noah etc} were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were looking for a BETTER COUNTRY--a HEAVENLY ONE. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a *CITY* (The *NEW JERUSALEM*} for them!!

Galatians 4:25,26: Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the **JERUSALEM** that is **ABOVE** is free, and she is our MOTHER !!
