Do animals go to Heaven? I think they do or else there would have been no point to Noah's Ark and saving the animals. What are your opinions/thoughts?

Hey! I've got an idea! If we all name our pets Cherubim, THEN will they go to heaven?!?! :peace:

Cherubim are a class of Angel. Like the 2 mounted on the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant. Also like the ones that Ezekiel saw in his vision. They are creatures in the sense that they were created, just as we are creatures as well. They were made to be in Heaven, serving God. Angels are God's messengers. We do not know if they have an eternal soul, although it is assumed that since they are in heaven, they do.

Blessings,

Leon

Hello Leon,

I was just making a poor attempt at humor. I'm sorry if it offended you or anything like that. I'm a serious animal lover and would love it if my passed pets were to meet me in Heaven. Just wishful thinking on my part.

Tandy,

I think what you said was funny... don't mind Leon, he's in the process of learning how to bass in te joy of the Lord. He's not there yet, so please be patience with him, God is not through with him yet:yay:

Yeha, I think that's a wonderful idea, to name your pets Cherabim...maybe St. Peter will not have on his eye glasses when they come to the gate, and think the are one of the creatures with wings who is just returning from a luch break, and let them in ...:yay::angel::dancingp::excited::ROFL:

VAJ, yeah, that's what I say, oh, wait!... I don't like kitty cats... I wonder if I will see my chicken in heaven?..hmmmm, if they have eaten her already, cook her for dinner when I get there and everybody all sit down with the milk and honey for dinner:yay::eat::eat::excited::ROFL::angel:

Hey Leon, read Revelation chapter 4, John explains what he saw the creatures to look like. They are only described as living creatures with wings with like of a lion, a calf, face of a man, and a flying eagle who were singing praise to our Lord.

Also, read Revelation chapter 6, John saw the white horse, and the red horse, the black horse, the pale horse and explains those who sat on them. And Revelation chapter 19, heaven opened and John sees a white horse with Jesus riding him. And birds flying in heaven.

Tandy,

I was trying to explain to Vaj what Cherubim are. Cherubim is the plural of Cherub. They are described in detail in Ezekiel, and called Cherubim. I actually thought the joke was kind of funny.

Ella,

The color of the horse is a representation of the character, or outward character of the rider. I will have to look at the bird passage tomorrow, but that is disturbing, as birds almost always mean evil in prophesy. Revelation also talks about a dragon, a beast, and many other animals, but they all represent something in the prophetic message.

I can't believe I let you pull me in that easy. LOL. You got me. I will remember you. LOL. Thanks Ella, I needed the laugh. You are sooooo bad.

Love and grace,

Leon
