THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.: On the day of Pentecost, empowered by the Holy Spirit, Peter preached and his sermon saved 3000 souls. The Holy Spirit ministers to your spirit, gives you a change of heart and saves your soul. HUMAN DOCTRINES 1 Timothy 1:3-4 'As I urge you upon my departure for Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus, in order that you may instruct certain men, not to teach strange doctrines, nor to pay attension to myths and endless genealogies, which gives rise to mere speculations rather than furthering the administration of God, which is by faith". Human doctrines creates a big head but a small heart.They minister to the mind cannot save soul, they are speculation that creates confusion and arguments. What do you say? Post Reply

The Farmer Manscotell,if your reply is what you believe then almost every person claming to being a Believer th teaches the word,has some false teaching about them. There are an wful lot of the Pentecostal,charismatic, Baptist, and any other denominations which teach things not according to the Scriptures. Are all of these then False teachers ( ings). Posted : 6 Jan, 2012 05:24 PM I am not going to seat in Judgement about what different doctrines different denomination teaches, but one thing I know for sure is IF IT IS NOT IN THE BIBLE IT IS NOT TRUE. It is my responsibility and your reponsibility to find and know the truth. John 8:31-32 Jesus told the Jews who are believers "If you abide in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free". The resposibility of freedom is yours not individual churches, they can preach whatever they want, but you must have Spiritual discernment to know what is right from wrong. The Holy Spirit that lives inside of you is the Spirit of truth and will lead you to all truth. Most of us want to go to heaven but we want others to maintain our salvation, to know the trurth, hear what they preach, find out by spending time in the word for yourself if it is true, then follow the truth, if not garbage it and follow the truth, that is freedom.
