Why do you ask me to do something, or say/state something, to please you?
Jesus never said that true believers would be required to say that we were born again, and run around telling others that I was a Christian..
In fact, Jesus, nor Paul, or Peter, or anyone affiliated with the Lord Jesus, ever said that "we are Christians".
There is nothing in the Bible, anywhere, where it states that believers referred to our family as "Christians".
The term "Christian" was a derogatory term which was placed on us by fallen men who knew nothing about our faith..
It is used in the singular twice in the New Testament, and once in the plural. Only three times is it used, and none by the Lord Jesus or any apostle, or anyone.
The word Christian is used only three times in the New Testament, and fallen men took it and ran, creating a false religion around it. Afterwards, many cults began to flourish as a result of this new religion which originated [in Rome] as a result of the Greek texts of letters of our brethren falling into fallen men's hands. We have NEVER referred to ourselves as "a Christian", or "Christians".
"And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." [Acts 11:26]
We were called Christians at Antioch, we did not call ourselves by this term.
King Agrippa tells Paul that he almost persuaded him to be a Christian:
"Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian." [Acts 26:28]
Peter is the ONLY one who wrote on the subject. He says that we are to consider it an honor if we "suffer as a Christian!" Peter does not say we are. He say "if you suffer as a Christian!"
"Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf." [I Peter 4:16]
Why would Peter say, "if any man suffer as a CHristian, let him not be ashamed", if we were to think of ourselves as "a Christian"..? Why would it be a shame to be a Christian, if we were?
He was not a Christian, nor was Paul, and I am certainly not!
Paul makes it clear, what we are:
"I endure all things for the sake of the ELECT, that they also shall obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory." [II Tim 2:10]
And as for saying or stating, that I am born again, when any of you locate it in the scripture where it reads that we are to say that we are born again, I will. But until that time I am perfectly content, with being born again.
Plus, I am not here to satisfy you. I am a servant of the Living God, and to Him Alone do I have to give an account.
Saying that I am "born again" would avail nothing, being born again, does!
Some want me to say that I am a "Christian"..?
Hmmm....?
Let me see, which one would they have me to be..?
A Moonie?
A Methodist?
A Seventh Day Adventist?
A Jehovah's Witness?
A Morman?
A Calvinist?
A Catholic?
A Protestant?
A Baptist?
A Pentecostal?
A Lutheran?
A Nazarene?
A Episcopalian?
A Quaker?
A Mennonite?
[Today there are over 32,000 denominations in this false religion!]

AWM, if you are speaking what God has taught you, then I plan to search out a scholarship for God to attend school, because according to what you are speaking and saying that you have learned from God, I think God has need to learn from man's text books...
You also, have need to read your original post and you will find that what I posted were YOUR WORDS, or maybe they were words from someone else that you posted. You speak in circles of confusion even to yourself, and you have nerves to think of yourself as a wise person??? what stage of denial are in you entertaining?.
Moreover, I must again with you, in that, YOU SIAD NOTHING IN YOUR POST... NOT ONE THING OF SPIRITUAL SUBSTANCE... so you are coming into your own by saying you said nothing or anything, and upon reading your post, one will gather this�
You call me arrogant, God calls it confident in knowing Him by faith in His word of truth for myself. And its amazes me that those who DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY SPEAK INM GOD WORD OF TRUTH, and THINK they 've got it going on, are the ones who call other arrogant, and it makes me wonder why God has NEVER used a wise person as you call yourself to be, and think of yourself as being? You live in a circle of spiritual confusion quoting I John 2;29 as your excuse for not being taught... as most self-taught people do, and think God is going to back them up in their carnal minds, its not that God does not and will not teach us into all things as it is written, but to study to show yourself approved by God and man, for a spiritual balance is also a plus toward excellence. Even Paul and the disciple had teachers and Paul and many of the apostles were educated to some degree... so what's your disdain about my education all about???... I would never even try to teach one of your kind... as Paul says, Let him who is ignorant remain ignorant. Ignorance does not comes from having a formal education or the lack of a formal education. Ignorance comes from not have knowledge and understanding in matters YOU DO NOT KNOW... as is your case...
You lack God's wisdom in many spiritual things, and even your screen name denotes a need for your spiritual knowledge and understanding.
Again, what is your SPIRITUAL INTENT AND PURPOSE? Of course, Usually spiritual ignorance has no spiritual intent or purpose, other than consuming of control and power due to personal and spiritual insecurities reflections of unrepentant sins. You have no prudence spiritual insight OR superiority of apostolic knowledge or wisdom into GOD"S spiritual matters, ONLY YOUR OWN CARNAL MIND.
AGAIN I SAY TO YOU... Examine yourself Maybe I Corinthians chapter 1 will help: 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. Glory Only in the Lord. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God�and righteousness and sanctification and redemption� that, as it is written, �He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.�

If you were half as loving of the Father as you are constantly inferring, you would comprehend that you are to demonstrate RESPECT unto the "Father," and seek always to demonstrate that respect by Capitalizing His Name, "Father," as well as the Divine description "He!"
I know that He is love, and to love Him, is to respect Him, not mangle His title.
Are you in such a hurry that you do not think to elevate that Name to the HIGHEST place of All?
You appear to be a manpleaser, and are obviously more concerned about how you think you will appear in other's eyes, than to give Him the respect that He is due!

What has being called out as a Christian which identifies our relationship to Jesus Christ, has to do with being a church building?... how did you get off to speaking about a church building???
A church building holds and house, and is named after those who are called Christians and is a place for healing of the people, just as a garage holds and house that which is called a car, many other junks!...
Your so-called self claimed carnal wisdom is the influenced and cause of your spiritual blindness...
