Do you, as a believer in Jesus Christ, engage a 9mm to protect you?

Are you a pistol-packing woman or man of God? I am curious? How many of you on here, which profess faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Who told Peter to "put up the sword", are running around with a Smith & Wesson 357 magnum, or a Glock 9mm, with which to "defend yourselves"..?
I saw a woman's profile, that stated she loved to fill her days travelling to the pistol range, to get in some target practice, and I enquired as to why, if she believe what the Word of God says about "And He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in ALL your ways," would you think that you need to own a gun, and be prepared to use it?
She replied to me angrily, "You sound as if you are one of these nuts that are prowling these sites", evidently inferring, that because I wrote that I do not believe that a true believer in Jesus Christ would carry a firearm, that something is wrong with me. She evidently is extremely ignorant of the fact, that "self-preservation" is the corporatist's favorite means of generating gun sales, and through them, their corporate profits.
Tell us, and tell the world, are you an NRA Christian, who merely talks the gospel, and could care less about faith in such assurances as mentioned above, or do you truly love the Lord, and know that the ways of this age are wicked, and designed to harvest you and convert your ignorance into capital?

My reaction:
1. I will forgive him and I will tell him that I forgive him in the name of Jesus.
I could arrest him and I would do it ONLY in case if I would be sure that he would be dangerous for other women.
2. I should not revenge. God will judge him. I should not hate him. I am commanded to love him and any criminal. I am prohibited by God to hate any people!!!!!
In Matthew 5:21-26 Jesus amplifies the meaning of the sixth commandment. He brings out that to commit murder means more then just killing someone, it means having an angry and unforgiving attitude towards them:
"You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.' But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire.
"Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny." (Matthew 5:21-26, NKJV)
"Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him." (1John 3:15, NKJV).
Hatred which is the same as murder (1 John 3:15), is unforgiving, vengeful and hostile towards one's enemies.
Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. Rom 12:19
Leviticus 19:18 "'Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.
Romans 12:17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Matth.10:28
Matthew 5:22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.
Behave Like a Christian
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord. 20 Therefore
 If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Rom.12
Go the Second Mile
38 You have heard that it was said, An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. 39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 40 If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. 41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away. Matth.5
But I tell you not to resist an evil person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, we should protect our countries and do it ONLY in the case if the actions of our countries comply with the laws of God and our conscience.
Let's consider such cases:
Iran attacks Israel. Should I protect Israel? Yes. I should fight in the Israeli Army against Iran.
Russia attacks the USA. Should I protect Russia? No. If the Anti-Christ (Putin) will attack the USA, I reject to fight in the Russian Army.
I am a Palestinian man (a christian). Israeli Army will come to my house. Should I kill Jewish soldiers who will touch my Arab son at the hand? No. I am prohibited to kill and damage people. I can only pray to God. Can Palestinians kill Jews? No. they are prohibited by God. The Israeli Army acts according the laws of the state and the main God's laws coincide with Jewish laws. The Palestinian state acts according to the laws Shariah which were based on the word of the false god. That's why any obedience to the military laws of Palestine (Jihad) is a violation of God's law which reads, "You shall not kill".
All other laws of Palestine, which comply with God's laws and our conscience, we can implement.
So, we should follow God's laws and do not kill people. But we should protect people. Protection is not violence.
We can serve in the official Army and then our actions will be measured by God according to His laws. We cannt serve in the Palestinian Army because their laws act against the laws of the God of Israel. Their laws call Muslims to violence and murder of Jews. It is against the laws of God. Any rocket sent from Palestine and Gaza to Israel is a crime against people and God.
