IF... You died today, this very moment... where would you spend your eternal life? Will it be in heaven in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, beholding all of His beauty and glory? Or, will your eternal life be spent in hell burning eternally in the late of fire with Satan, and all those who have rejected the love of our Lord Jesus Christ in disobedience and His free gift of salvation?
I John Chapter 1. This is the message which we have heard from God and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
If... we say that we have fellowship with Him (God), and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
If... we walk in the light as He (God) is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If... we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If... we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If... we say that we have not sinned, we make God a liar, and His word is not in us.
If... you pray this prayer, God will hear you , and forgive you of all your sins, and He will fill you with His Holy Spirit, which is the Promise of The Father to all those who believe.
Father, teach me how to pray> Prayer of Salvation - Father, God, have mercy on me for I am a sinner. Forgive me of all my sins, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Only Begotten Son, and that He died on the cross for my sins, and You raised Him from the dead, so that I might have eternal life in heaven with you. Open my eyes that I might see, and help my unbelief. Save me, and I will be saved. Heal me, and I will be healed. Deliever me, and I will be delivered. In Jesus Christ powerful name I pray, Amen.

I had hope this thread would not turn into a thread for anything outside of speaking words as a witness that would lead to the salvation of someone who might be reading... not a thread for theology debates, arguing, or disputing scripture or disputing whether or not a prayer for salvation is biblical or not... prayer is prayer and Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, therefore, it is not a sin for me to or anyone else to teach anyone how to pray or what to say when he/she prays.
If a person repeating a prayer helps to teach and encourages them as to how to pray and what to sayin their prayer request to God for their salvation, who is anyone on this forum to say whether or not the person will be saved or cnything else?
The devil sure gets busy when it comes to the true things of God on this forum, and this is a sign that there might be change in a person's life. I've seen it too many times on this forum on threads where a person is speaking something spiritual that is powerfu,l and someone will always come along and post a negativecomment into it, and the thread turns into something that was not intended to be... This is how the devil works, and it is not of God, its a hinderance and stumbling block, which is the work of the devil.
So please, can we just talk about salvation and witnessing for the Lord Jesus Christ? someone might just get saved...thanks!:hearts:
There is rejoicing of the angels in heaven when ONE sinner repents of his/her sins, and has faith to believe and comes to know Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Savior.
Christ came to save sinners, and to call backsliders back to Him (GOD). IT is only God's love, grace and mercy that saves us. "For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whoever(that's you) believes in Him (Jesus) should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him(Jesus) might be saved. �The person who believes in Him(Jesus) is not condemned; but the person who does not believe is condemned already, because he/she has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that the light (Jesus) has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."
Therefore, you have a choice... you can either pay the price for your sins eternally in hell, or accept Jesus' payment on cross and live eternally as a child in the family of God in His kingdom.
{We should not} be a carnal hindrance or stumbling block in the things of God for someone who might be on the edge of being drawn to God through a simple prayer he/she may not have known how to pray..{???}
I have twice in my life went forward on altar calls after emotional sermons and was told this sinners prayer that would guarantee my salvation and quickly fell away both times. It wasn't till I seriously started to read God's Word **earnestly with all my heart** that the Father decided to give me that FREE GIFT of Faith which is not from ourselves. And I certainly realize that God calls and chooses people in many different ways. I believe that the Father only calls and chooses those He knows will be faithful.
There will be 2 comings of Jesus on the Last Day. The first will be **FOR** His saints:rolleyes: and the second just after the marriage Feast of the Lamb will be **WITH**:rolleyes: His Called, Chosen and Faithful followers.
Revelation 17:14: "They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings--and **WITH HIM** will be His :rolleyes:**CALLED, CHOSEN and FAITHFUL** followers!!"
John 6:39,44: Jesus says, And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall loose none of all that He has given Me, but raise them up on the Last Day ...No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise them up on the Last Day!!" {Of the Great Tribulation}

HELL is a real literal place!
It is believed that Hell is located in the core of the earth's crust, which is kind of interesting since when you see a volcano erupt the magma is extremely hot, I wonder if evil spirits are released when a volcano erupts? Just a thought.
You're right Shalom, hell is a real place otherwise Jesus would not have spoken to us abut it. Nor would God have sent His Son to saved us from such a place of torment...
Jesus died so that we might live, and its only through Him that we live and have our being for the forgiveness of sins. And it is only by Jesus eveyone who believes in Him are justified from all things, from which no one could not be justified by the laws of Moses of the Old Testament.
Jesus came to set us free sacrifices of sins in the laws of old and to give us freedom through repentace of sins through the sacrifice Lamb of God. This is the grace of God.

Praise God for your salvation, Richard. It does not matter how long it took to break up your fallow ground after repeating the prayer of salvation.
The point remains, the brren ground was broken for planting of the seed, and throughout the journey God permitted many different people and circumstance and situations to come into your life who were doing the watering, and God got the increase when there was a harvest, and is continually getting the increase eveyday in your life performing a good work in you toward transforming you into the image of His Son Jesus Christ... And this transformation will not be completed until Jesus returns to earth or comes for you in death.:glow::applause:...
