PJ Those are not my words that says the Old Covenant is obsolete. They are God's Words inspired by God's Holy Spirit!!

Again you are quoting Scripture from the OT Covenant to prove the Prosperity Gospel. Can you quote any NT Scripture which contradicts the teaching of Jesus to the prosperous in Matthew 19:21 "To sell all your possessions and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; and **THEN** come follow Me."

Prosperity was part of the OT Covenant but the *NEW** NT Covenant is totally against the Prosperity Gospel: The NT Covenant inspired by the Holy Spirit also commands:

Hebrews 8:6,7,13: But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which He is mediator is superior to the old one, and is founded on better promises..By calling this covenant "NEW," He has made the first one obsolete!!

Jesus says to His disciples "Teach them to obey **EVERYTHING** I commanded" in Matt 28:20.

John 14:23,24: Jesus says, "If anyone loves Me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love Me will not obey My teaching."

I John 2:3-5: We know that we have come to know Him {Jesus} **IF** we obey His commands. The man who says, "I know Him," but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the Truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys His Word, God's love is truly made complete in Him.

No they are your words, as is all that you post, I have been watching, and it seems right and even sounds right and then death continually changes, you can not have any light and speak as you do.

You have to go back to the truth and ask the lord to remove the blinders, when you accept a lie, then all you believe will continue in the same light, darkness.

You deny from the very beginning what the word says to be born again.

No one can walk with God and walk in darkness that is the word of God.

God does not change as you proclaim.

Jesus does not change.

The Holy Spirit does not change.

The word does not change.

The promises of God are yes and amen.

Your words say Jesus never lived, never came to the earth, was not resurrected, and then want people to follow you as you speak out against the lord's servants.

The blessing of Abraham's is just as Jesus taught, it belong's to the church and you say it does not.

The word will always talk to a hungry heart, but the hearer must be hungry for truth.

MercyMay shared ~ I believe no matter what the circumstance is, there is prosperity and peace of mind in Gods presence. What is pleasing, beautiful, good, godly, think about such things.

*** I totally agree with you and your statement..."there is prosperity and peace of mind in God's presence" YES !!! this is a portion of Him Self that the Lord Jesus Taught while he walked & lived amongst the peoples also teaching in the Tempels and lives within us this day...It is written in John 10:10 ~ b: " I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."...granted the word prosperity is not present in this verse...but the word abundantly is...abundantadjective

1. present in great quantity; more than adequate; oversufficient: an abundant supply of water.

2. well supplied; abounding: a river abundant in salmon.

3. richly supplied: an abundant land.

I would say that is Prosperity for in it...(Jesus)...is Abundance...xo

Did the early NT saints practice the Prosperity Gospel??

Acts 2:44,45: "**ALL** the believers:rolleyes: were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need."

Acts 4:32,34: " **ALL** the believers:rolleyes: were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had... There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put them at the apostles feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need."

And so the early NT saints followed the command of Jesus in Matthew 19:21 "to sell your possessions and give to the poor and you will have treasures in heaven and *THEN* come follow Me.":applause:

Would those who teach the Satanic:devil: Prosperity Gospel preach their nonsense to the very poor saints who earn a few dollars per day in Africa, Asia and South America?? Why don't the churches who preach the Prosperity Gospel not sell their possessions and give to these poor saints like the early saints who followed the teachings of Jesus?? If they did follow the NT teachings then they also would be poor! :applause:

Prophet..I just read this same thing you posted on another thread...I understand the point you are making and what you are saying...I also understand that some Prosperity Preachers are all $$$ and Glory for self and No Guts for GOD...but not ALL Preachers are this way...Many have been blessed with a building to start a church from fellow Christians donations...thats Prosperity...many have been blessed with financial $$$ and I know of one man localy that turns right around and gives of what is received more than a mezly 10% more like 3/4 and sends it to Africa to drill wells for clean water...:yay:....I'm not saying I am a follower of a Prosperity Gospel...what I am saying is the Father God's son Jesus teaches Love GOD, Love people, Do Kindly, Obey ALL His Teachings...willingly...not just Commandments...GOD is the same Yesturday, Today and Forever...His WORDs will never passaway...He said that Him self...Alpha and Omega...Beginning and End...Ya cant have a NT without the Bases in the OT...just like ya cant have GOD with out Jesus and the Holy Spirit...its a packaged deal...All or Nothing...xo

The gospel for the church is the blessing of Abraham, and everything less is unbelief, and the idea of continually proclaiming that some seek wealth is in unbelief, for wealth and the blessing followers those that believe it is very simple. Those that believe the word of God, it seems as though some are following another Jesus.

Luke 6:20: Jesus says, "Blessed:rolleyes: are you who are *POOR*, for yours is the Kingdom of Heaven!"

Luke 12:33: Jesus says, "Sell your possessions:rolleyes: and give to the *POOR*. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also!"

2 Corinthians 6:4-10: "As servants of God:angel: we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance, in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots, in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness, in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; through glory and dishonor; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; dying and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed, sorrowful, yet always rejoicing, *POOR**, yet making many rich; having *NOTHING*, and yet possessing everything!!":applause:

Prophet if you will read the entire chapter and then look at verse 7 ~ For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. *** The first covenant no man could keep all of ittherfor the Sin Offering of lambs & goats was ineffective to pay for the Sinand in Verse 12 ~ For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more *** The Covenant spoken here is still about the payment for Sinand the NT Covenant is Jesus Blood and the Payment for OUR Sinswhich God will remember no moreNot about Prosperty, $$$$ or Material thingsxo

Even Jesus Christ quoted scriptures (OT) to rebuke the devil. And,

Matthew 5:17 20 Jesus himself said:

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them... (please read on prophetic774) because Jesus surely did not make the Old Testament obsolete.
