View Profile History	The Best Theologian Posted : 21 Jun, 2011 11:17 PM When you look at the temptation of Jesus in the wlderness, and the devil came up against Him with scripture, you will find that what the devil quoted was half truths because they were out of context as to what God had really said... and this is why Jesus was able to defeat satan with the power of God's word of truth, becasue He spoke the whole truth of what God said... satan who transform himslef into an angel of light as Pauls writes about in 2 Corinthians chapter 11, never agree with God's word as we are taught in the word and tend to twist the truth becasue of the power of the word. And when the devils do hear the turth it makes them tremble with fear. Therefore, devls will never speak directly the whole truth of God's word, because the whole truth of God word has power, as James tells us that the devils believe there is one God and tremble... but you will never find devils speaking the whole truth of God's word even in the book of Acts of those who were possessed and were going around trying to pretend they were apostles.
