Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Do you know some actually think that God the father does not operate by faith?

Notice a few verses of the word of life:

Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Mk 11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

These two verses are examples of the law of faith being exercised.

Jesus expounded on this in verses 22-24 of the eleventh ch of mark, it is said that in verse 22 can also translated the God kind of faith.

Mk 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

There you have an illustration of the father and the son exercising faith, according to the word of God.

No George you have never heard me say having faith in faith, that is your statement, now when you ask me the question George there is a point where one believes and there comes a time if you continue in the truth, you know the Truth.

As for you and your mocking the lord and his word, well you show by your words your unbelief, he has no problem with being his children's example of faith.

WERE THE OT SAINTS ALSO WAITING FOR THE ETERNAL HEAVENLY NEW JERUSALEM BY** FAITH??

Romans 10:12: For there is no difference between Jew and Gentilethe same Lord is Lord of all. Galatians 3:28,29: There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male or female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise!! Read Ephesians 2:11-22!!

Hebrews 11:9,10,13-16: By faith he {Abraham} made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the City with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. {The Eternal New Jerusalem not an earthly Jerusalem built by man}:applause:

All these people were all living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised, they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had the opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better countrya **HEAVENLY ONE**. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a City for them {The eternal Heavenly New Jerusalem!}:applause:

Hebrews 11:39-40: These {OT Saints} were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. God had planned something better for us so that only together with us {NT saints} would they {OT saints} be made perfect!{Receive New heavenly bodies and the Eternal, Heavenly New Jerusalem}

Galatians 3:29: If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 4:22-26: For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise. These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem that is **ABOVE** is free, and she is our mother!!:peace:
