What is the singular light in Genesis before the sun and moon were made?

The Word of God brings light. Spiritual illumination. God spoke and there was light which he divided from the darkness before the sun and moon were made. God's Word is a light to our dark minds which points to Jesus Christ.

God being invisible made all things manifest and visible through his Word...likewise, when we have faith in the invisible we look beyond the visible and what our natural eyes show us. A reversal .

With that being said, how does your faith grow.?

YES! It does "tie into the 4th commandment on day 4" because of what was stated about His seasons/mo'eds (appointed times) are decided by the moon clock.

Its the ONLY commandment that has anything to do with assembly, times, appointments etc.

The Lord mentions binding them as a sign deuteronomy 6:8...a sign identifies a street , business, a product, so too does it identify God's people.

Maybe he bound something in the heavens.

Allow me to ask you this. What is the difference in description in Gen 1:3-5 (day 1) to that of Gen 1:14 -19 (day 4)in wording?

Read it and get back to me.

What was good on day 4?

That's all you got for the difference in descriptions from day 1 to day 4??? What about the second half of verse 14, the signs?

and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

And it was so!

again, I mention a covenant?

YES! So on day 4 Yahweh is establishing something He did not do on day 1. He is once again mentioning His clocks but what is the difference now? What's another word for establishing?
