To George: When it comes to the new birth, you have always agreed with the Calvinist opinion, so as believers we know e can not agree with their opinion when we have the word of God that is very clear, concerning who one enters the family of God.

George as far as your response that I am always tearing down in otherwords when you are corrected for declaring the word of God to not be true publicly, to the world you are in order, no George I am not going to agree with false doctrine, it is not mean to expose the lie of the devil.

The first thing a christians needs to know is the word of God is true, not man's opinion and intellectual ideas.

The

Bible teaches to those who will believe that man can depart from faith, just as he came to it.

They lost the faith, they fell into disbelief, they denied the power of Christ to change them, so Christ denied them. There would also be the christian that thinks they're doing well and doing God service, and bearing "good fruits", but God will tell them He never knew them because they did not know Him. They let their lamps go out. I just think that the bible speaks pretty plainly about this. It would not be full of warnings and parables and examples of people who fell if it were not possible.

Hello everyone:

Everyone on this topic,Please look those things up in the language they have been written in,Aramaic,Hebrew, and Greek;seeing that people, languages and words change over time.

Try to get the original meaning, for that is what we should be understanding.

The English King James language has changed since the 1611 version was written, and there are some perversions of the Word are out.

Example:Psalm 37:4

Psa 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

The health and wealth advocates run with this telling people, see Be happy and God will give you the desires of your heart.

The human heart desires sin,evil,death.

Jeremiah 17:9 on the human heart,

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

People do not know their own hearts or motives, yet there are those saying man is basically good, this goes contrarty to Scripture.

H=Hebrew-Strongs Hebrew Concordance:

The word 'Delight' is a Hebrew word which reads:

Psa 37:4 Delight thyselfH6026 also inH5921 the LORD;H3068 and he shall giveH5414 thee the desiresH4862 of thine heart.H3820

H6026

ענג

‛ânag

aw-nag'

A primitive root; to be soft or pliable, that is, (figuratively) effeminate or luxurious: - delicate (-ness), (have) delight (self), sport self.

Thus when ones heart is soft, the Lord is able to put into that heart desires of and for GOD.

There is not one man, woman,or child which came to the Lord apart from him drawing them.

No One on their own seeks the Lord,Remember Adam and Eve,"Adam do you know where you are"?

Unless the Father draws:

Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Agape' and Charis:

St.George

George you can post a scripture here and there and say it applies to all, such as the scripture about the heart of man, now post those that speak life about the heart of man, you are talking like a calvinist.

You see you can not find you teaching thru out the bible.

get back in the book as you tell others, forget all the languages and get to know Jesus, he is the truth

"Uh...but the verse says a righteous man that sins will die. His righteousness will be remembered no longer, and he will die for the sins he has committed. And it has to be a truly Godly righteous man, because it also says "if he trusts in his own righteousness", meaning he is currently trusting in God's righteousness. Anyway, it's cool to have someone besides dudes all the time! We need more ladies in these topics! "

It is indeed! I actually belong to a online women's group where we talk about these things all the time. It's wonderful! If you want, I'll send you a message letting you know the website address. Now.. for your statement.

We see that statement "the righteousman that sins will die" twice in Ezekiel. Once is in ch 3:21 and then again in Ezekiel 18:20-22.

In the first passage, God is warning Ezekiel. He is telling him to speak and if Ezekiel doesn't speak the words God tells him to, then the blood of the righteous man who turns away because he DIDN'T speak will be spilled and will be placed on Ezekiel's hands.

In the second passage, it starts out with, "the person who sins will die." How does that work against eternal security? Romans tells us that all have fallen short of the glory of God and that the wages of sin is death. But, there are two deaths, just as there are two births. All men will die. So which death is this speaking of? Physical or spiritual? Because even after salvation, men and women who comprise the Body of Christ still sin. Paul wrote quite extensively about it in Romans 7. Isaiah 53 tells us that there are NONE righteous, no not one. We have all turned to our own way and we can and at times, do, even after salvation. But our righteousness is as filthy rags to God. We have NO righteousness apart from Jesus Christ. There is nothing in me that is good or right except for the Holy Spirit. It is because of sin that I will die physically- but it is only because of Christ, that I will live eternally. Nothing I do can earn it, or buy it. The only thing that holds me is my unwavering belief in Him- the belief that He enabled me to have, not one that I came to on my own.
