Jesus told us in Matthew 24, no one will know the day or hour. He didn't say we were not know the season or year.
By believing the 3rd temple will be rebuilt and scarifices started soon and believe The seven years of tribulation Jesus spoke about, if will know the countdown to Jesus's return. it is not just any seven years, it will begin in the beginning of a Sabbath year. Researchers have determined that the next Sabbath year will begin in 2017. If nothing significant happens before then in Israel, then you simply add seven years again.
Matthew chapter twenty-four has been a difficult chapter for many Christians to understand, even for seasoned theologians. A frequently asked question concerning this chapter is Christ's declaration that a generation should not pass until all the things (which He had talked about) would be fulfilled. The question I hear a lot is, "how could all those things that Christ had spoken about, be fulfilled before that generation had passed?"

Date setting has never or will never happen just as Jesus said.
Despite this clear biblical principle, many throughout Christian history have attempted to prophesy the date that Jesus is coming back. Many such dates have been proposed, and all of them have been wrong. Today, there are two popular proposed dates: May 21, 2011 and December 21, 2012. The December 21, 2012 date is related to the Mayan calendar, with no biblical data used as evidence. The May 21, 2011 date is proposed by Harold Camping of Family Radio. It should be noted that Harold Camping previously predicted that Jesus would come back in 1994. Obviously, Camping was wrong. This should give us yet another reason to doubt the validity of his prediction of May 21, 2011. Camping, does, however, claim to find evidence for the May 21, 2011 date in Scripture.
My opinion and believe me it has nothing to do with scripture, I believe we are living in this last generation.
So the question we need to ask ourselves is when it started and how long is this generation? If you google a generation, you will come up with many answers on how many years is in a generation. I found that it averages aound 34 years. Jesus also lived around 34 years too.
Another conclusion, I came up with and not biblical just good old horse sense was that Jesus's Generation has to be the most important Generation of all time. It has been determined that Jesus was borned around 3BC and died around 30AD.
I believe personally that we are celebrating the last generation in the 2nd coming of Jesus and this last generation will end around around 2030. It is not a prediction, it is just my views.
We do know that Jesus will come

The Feast of Trumpets Unfulfilled ....(as of yet).
The Day of Atonement Unfulfilled ....(as of yet).
But due to unfold on Tishrei 10 in the fall season of some future year.
It's fulfilment will be the final climactic "last day" of this age.
The Jewish nation and "all Israel" will be saved! - Zech.12:8-13:1, Rom. 11)
Then comes the Day of the Lord.
It will be Doomsday for the wicked.
Soon after that comes the Resurrection-Rapture of the Elect.
The Feast of Tabernacles Unfulfilled ....(as of yet).
Some future Tishrei 15 in the fall season of some future year
will see the coming 1000 year Millennium of Messiah.

I for one would ike to see you post a outline in order, of what prophecies need to be fulfilled before Jesus's return. Then post seperately on each one.

Many prophecies revealed in the Scriptures were fulfilled shortly after the revelation was completed near the end of the 1st century. These prophecies of the Bible have been fulfilled literally, that means what God says he means! Such fulfillment confirms the fact that unfilled prophecy will also be literally fulfilled, as one could anticipate from fulfillment of prophecy already achieved. Fulfilled prophecy is an important guide in interpreting prophecies that are unfulfilled and generally confirms the concept of the literal interpretation of a prophecy. Remember scripture can not be broken or changed to make it different than what the words are saying.

The Day of the Lord is indeed a single literal day, the day of the misnamed �Second Coming of Christ� (Rev 19 = Lev 16).

Sure NCW, Christ can come any time, for we know not the day, time or how that hHe will come. This is why we are wraned to be ALWAYS READY!
Moreover, we all must understand that Christ coming does not necessary mean He's coming in the clouds, but He can come for us individually at any momnet. Regradless, of how or when He comes whether in the cloud as in the last days, or in our own personal last days. Either way He come the question is are YOU (WE) ready for His coming.
Evey moment, every second, every hour, every day, every month, every year, He could come for you, me, or any one... and this could be our end time.
BTW, God's word says that not even Jesus nor the angels knows when the Father will send His Son Jesus Christ for His people, so predictions mean nothing. If Jesus or the nagels knows when Jesus will return, how can anyne else know or predict 2030 as the time of His return... that's all it is , is a rediction not a prophecy, if God ain't told Jesus or the angel, one thing we do know is that God aint told you or anyone else.
Again, the question remains, are you (WE) ready whether He comes for us individually or as the church?
All other things are sign to watch out for, knowing that our redemption is near. It was near during the 1st church as well, even the more ofr the 21 century church, but ONLY GOD KNOWS WHEN HE WILL COME FOR HIS PEOPLE. After all, ALL of prophesy HAS NOT BEEN FULFILLED, nor come to pass. But that's not to speak about each individual leaving this earth when God's trumpet sound and our number is up!

And yes, we should be ready, but Jesus laid it all out for us in Matthew 24.
Verse 34 tells us that all things must happen before he returns. He wants us to prepare ourselves and not loose the faith till the end. Verses 12-13,
Starting at verse 15-25, he warns us about the AntiChrist and Verse 25 gives us warning about this event. Many that don�t understand will surrender to the AntiChrist.
If your believe these words he told us, we will endure to the end.
We have to be ready for the 70th week in Daniel. The beginning of the Great Tribulation and the AntiChrist.
We should all be ready, but the real questions should be, Are we prepared and Will we endure to the end and be saved?
Most of us will see that day, but he can't come at any hour until all things are fulfilled!
Jesus wants us to know the year of our Lord's coming to the saints. Date settings never work, he does not want us to be taken away from our work in spreading the gospel until the end, but he does want us to know all things that must happen before his return.
I'm not so sure He'll come at any time. He said things must happen first before the rapture.

When Jesus and His disciples were together, they asked Him saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom of Israel?
And Jesus said to them, "It is not for you to know the TIMES OR THE SEASON, which the FATHER has put in His own power when these htings will be."
Therefore, this lets me know that ONLY GOD knows when HE will send Jesus back to earth to restore His kingdom and Israel.We don't know the time, season, year, or day nor the hour when these things will be.
Jesus only lets us know the WARNINGS and SIGNS to look for, nothing less and nothing more. Jesus' retunr will happen in God's timing, and no man can predict or guess, or prophesy.
Being ready is keeping watch and in prayer for all these SIGNS Jesus points out for us, and more than this, we are to be out winning souls for the coming kingdom of God with the gospel of Jesus Christ, unto salvation, becasue we will be judged accordingly, as well as setting our own houses in order. This is all apart of " being ready" for when Jesus does come, whether He comes for the church at large, or for each individual... are you (generic you) fulfilling His Commission, is the gospel being preached and properly taught? How many lost people are being given the gospel, and are you sure that you are walking and living the Christian lifestyle according to what Jesus has taught, this is BEING READY... for we know NOT the moment, second, hour, day or time or season. NOR DOES GOD EXPECT US TO KNOW ANYTHING MORE THAN WHAT HE HAS GIVEN US, OR OTHERWISE, HE WOULD HAVE TOLD US. BUT, HE DOES GIVE US THE SIGNS OF THINGS SO THAT WE CAN BE PREPARAED AND READY. But He does tell us what we should be doing to make sure we are ready...FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION!
He also tell us that AFTER these things have come to pass, it is not the time YET, but to know that our redemption is near, which means Jesus is on the way. But there is no wherein we are told the time or the season.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. BUT OF THAT DAY AND HOUR NO MAN knows, NOT EVEN THE ANGELS OF HEAVEN, ONLY MY FATHER." ... Therefore, YOU BE ALSO READY FOR IN SUCH AN HOUR WHEN YOU ARE NOT EXPECTING HIM, THE SON OF MAN WILL COME." MATTHEW CHAPTER 24...
If many on this forum can't discern a false teacher and false doctrine, how in the world will they be ready for when the antichrist comes? How will anyoen be ready and be able to stand up against those who are spreading false doctrines? This is all a part of being ready as well... to know SOUND teaching and doctrines in GOD'S WORD.
The anitchrist will have his followers just as many have turned from the faith today, and have already gone out before us with false teachings and doctrines of devils and demons, and of man. And there will be those who will go about teaching false doctrine, and believing in false healings as there are many now, during the time of the sntichrist as Paul describes in First and Second Thessalonians.
So if a person cant discern between the Doctrine of Jesus Christ and the doctrine of devils and demons now, I doubt many will be ready when Jesus does come, whether its in the clouds or for an individual person.
