I and a few others here have been slammed by the bleeding hearts for calling out someone when they post false doctrines and heresies on a public forum. I am not so quick to sing kumbaya with just anyone and if they prove to be heretical by the things they say I for sure will not. I do like interacting with people that do not hold same exact understanding as me. It helps me stay grounded in the Word with study. And just because we don't agree does not make anyone wrong or heretics, unless they are spewing heresy then they will be called a heretic and I do not throw they term around loosely either. I can name a few here that I do not agree with but would still call brother in Christ. I study to show myself approved a workman that rightly divides the word of truth. But I will not sit idol, uplift or be very nice (sarcastic), when anyone post lies about biblical teaching on a public forum. I will say this if ANYONE comes along with a new teaching or new understanding that can not be found in 2000 years of Christian history I will boldly call that person a lair. There are plenty of repackaged heresies floating around today but a totally new interpretation of scriptures is absolutely unacceptable. I see this happening here.

I won't be around much longer to defend this so you haters or bleeding hearts can rejoice! But if ya going to go public with your doctrines and beliefs then you better be ready to stand the heat that will follow. And for you bleeding hearts, why don't you let the one posting their theologies take up for them self? They may have something they want to say to defend their false doctrine.

Hopefully someone else will come along and call out, poke and challenge the false teachers that continue to post here. That is very much needed!

Well then MR. ROW then it is high time to expose the lie that has been brought out concerning total depravity, that can not be substanted in the entirety of scripture.

No PJ, you are the one who comes around with totally new interpretation of scriptures! You are totally depraved and can not get to heaven on your own! Or even with help! It will take %100 of something outside of yourself! YOU are %100 totally depraved!! Open your Bible and read it! And start using your brain to figure things out!

The only person you ever seem to call out or poke fun at is P.J.

You say you disagree with others as well but I guess you're using that common sense God gave you not to take on the men of God who will confront you head on and probably make you look very foolish.

When you gonna keep that promise and not be here?

Matthew 5:9 says blessed are the peacemakers. So I do think there is a time and place for that. However, I also strongely believe there is a time and place for putting a stake in the ground and holding your own even when that means conflict.

What I have noticed is that it seems to be more of a man/woman thing. What I have seen is that some woman here are much more inclined to the peacemaker side of the equation purely for the sake of trying to keep peace, but at the expense of calling out false doctrine. I think guys tend to be more confrontational, which is good when false doctrine is present, but bad when it is just for the sake of confrontation.

my .02 cents

Today!

I have taken others on and was not made to look foolish. I would love to hang around longer to let you step up chevy. I seen you agree with PJ so I think it would have been interesting to see who the foolish one would be when we were done. At least you would be articulate enough for me to understand you, bold enough to take on a debate and man enough to shake hands in the end even if we never come to an agreement.

I have no problem being challenged! In fact I invite it. If my doctrines and theologies can't stand the heat of battle then I am in trouble! I have lost before it did not make me look foolish it made me wiser. So getting put in my place does not bother me. But ya better come ready!

PJ has been an easy target with his short off the wall remarks and far out doctrines. Lately I have been to busy to take on the book writers (long posters).

I can assure you I have never called anyone out "just for the sake of confrontation!" NEVER! I would rather sing kumbaya with everyone that calls them self Christian, but that is not the case.

Sorry MrRow if that came across wrong. I wasn't suggesting you are confrontrational for the sake of being confrontational. I was just making a more generalized comment in the context of differences between men and women.

Topic : Confronting False Doctrine

Specific Topic Defined : Total Depravity of Man....true or false?

The Responses : Blah Blah Blah....(not one scripture or arguement to support a position on the topic.)

Conclusion : Arguing for the sake of Arguing.

Result : Nauseaum

There never will be any scripture to support total depravity, but there is a whole bible full of scripture that the lord reached out to man in his fallen state and man responded. Joshua and Caleb where able to please the lord when all others would not, it is what comes out of a mans mouth that defiles him.
