Does time exist for immortal people? We only use %10 of our brain now, what if when we receive our glorified bodies we experience time differently because we're operating at %100? Maybe "science" hasn't even discovered our full potential? I think there are untold glories and mysteries that will keep us busy forever. We aren't going to be singing hymns and floating on clouds. We'll probably be building/inventing/creating/exploring/discovering all kinds of awesome things. We'll spend eternity searching through God's infinite creation/wisdom. And besides all that, we'll have direct contact/friendship with God/Jesus Himself. Eternity sounds great to me! No pain, no weariness, no depression, no sadness... :peace::peace: Post Reply

I think the vast universe will be ours to explore and play in! But time is moving from one moment to the next as we experience it now so I don't see how that will change but who know? All I do know is it will be awesome! And yes I am terrified at the thought of eternity! But am quickly comforted by knowing who my savior is!! Post Reply

I believe we are in eternity now so the concept of an eternity that is future tense is foreign to me. I'm an eternal being now not tomorrow. We only understand life in flesh and blood,and we forget about the energy thats inside. The soul is eternal,and never dies.Death its just a part of eternal life,there is no end ! That why we dont feel like home on earth,cause is not home,its just a step to eternal life. Post Reply

How long would it take that crow to wear that mountain down to the size of a pebble? If you can imagine that time frame, then multiply that by a zillion and then take that number and multiply it by a zillion�zillion�zillion times and then� The question we have to ask ourselves is whether we want to spend Eternity in Heaven or in Hell. One of the Scariest verses in Scripture for me to read is Matthew 7:21-23 (New International Version, �2010) 21 �Not everyone who says to me, �Lord, Lord,� will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, �Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?� 23 Then I will tell them plainly, �I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!� There are some of us that are going to be shocked after our death. We play Russian Roulette with our Souls. We need to take our Salvation seriously. If you have any doubt�any doubt whatsoever�about if you are in the right place � then you need to search, to seek, to read Scripture, to pray for assistance from God. Posted : 12 Dec, 2010 09:43 AM hmmm. mostly expected answers here..~ but i did love the person who commented that "we are living in eternity now" lovely. i remember reading that before we were born , we did not have fear, because we did not know to excpect it, or know about it..that death is the same thing,from mystery..we return to mystery...that we might be overhwlemed by strange concepts because now we are aware...awake, if you will my sister also said years ago that faith is like being a newborn in a crib..there is a whole house surronding you..but the only vision you have is a mother picking you up...which brings up all sorts of thoughts of course, as in, the house is there even tho you are not aware of it, or c an understand it. that you are not ready to explore it and fully comprehend it. all that being said,i still find eternity an overwhelming concept..and, excatly my feelings..just like music were something seems impossiable, it's not impossiable, it is just unfamiliar. scary..unfamiliar. exactly. i was just curious as to other jesus lovers feelings,emotions and thoughts as thinking human beings with intellect as to how they view the strange and beautiful concept of eternity...never seems to be discussed in church, so again, being a curious cat here..... meow Post Reply

Well lets take a look at angels; They are unconstrained by time for space, seem to be very powerful, and are actively involved in the work of God's plans..... sounds much better than playing a harp on a cloud, wouldn't you agree?
