View Profile History	Spitrit travel. Posted : 14 Oct, 2010 08:03 AM I think it's saying that Paul actually knew someone who was in the third heaven v. actually having been there himself. The term "heaven" or "heavens" is used something loosely in the Bible, in that, in some cases, it's just simply referring to outerspace (or somewhere out there--whatever you want to call it!). For example, in the first part of Genesis, it says that God created the heavens--plural! And the subsequent references to that in Genesis use the plural also. In Ephesians 4:10, it says that Jesus ascended "higher than all the heavens." So, from the context of the 2 Corinthians passage (and the use of the term "paradise"), it would appear that this 3rd heaven is the heaven where Jesus lives. Post Reply

View Profile History	Spitrit travel. Posted : 15 Oct, 2010 07:17 AM At this time I would like to share with you one of my Pauline moments. " I knew a man..." While awake in the twinkling of an eye. I found myself seated beneath Jesus as He was in the final throws of His crucifixion. I had my back pressed against the crosses vertical beam. I was angry, very angry. ( the reason I was angry was because I had been through some horrific personal struggles) I refused to look up at Him or speak to Him , he was moaning, it was dark and rain was threatening so I did not immediately react to several drops of what I believed to be rain landing on my forehead until they began to run down onto my nose, it was then that I reached up and wiped the water away. It was after I brought my right hand down that I noticed it was smeared with blood. It was at that time that I angrily turned to look up at the Lord and yelled "why are you doing this!" He looked down at me and said " Because I love you." He them looked to the sky before Him and said "Behold" Moments later the spiritual veil that separates our world from His world opened up revealing the war in heaven where angels and demons to numerous to count were locked in combat. Then it was over . To this day I swear I was there. Your opinions please. Post Reply
