Question about the glory of GodPosted : 30 Sep, 2010 05:07 PMI don't think we can define the glory of the Lord to one specific attribute. His glory can be seen in most anything... creation, the heavens, the earth, etc. |

Question about the glory of GodPosted : 30 Sep, 2010 08:05 PMAll those things give Him glory, yes...but what is it? I mean...I know what our word "glory" means by definition. I guess I'm just wondering what it is to God. What is so important about it to Him? He's always doing things "for His glory", but why? Just to feed His ego? I don't know why I've been wondering about this. My current theory is that He does these "things" to give Himself credibility to His creation. You know...like proof that He is what He says He is and does what He says He will do, so people will believe and obey Him. Anyway, just wanted to hear some thoughts. Keep it comin' guys. |

Question about the glory of GodPosted : 1 Oct, 2010 06:45 PMYeah but...I think it must be talking about two different kinds of glory or something. If God is doing things for "His glory" then it means that He's doing it for the Holy Spirit? |
