Admin	is it okay for a man to sleep with a man Posted : 23 Sep, 2010 03:02 AM so there is the question : Is it okay for a man to sleep with a man? And if not how do you know? Who taught this? Did YAHSHUA teach this? IF not then were does it come from? If it came from the Torah and the old law is done away with then does that mean since i don't remember YAHSHUA teaching on it that it is one of the old laws to be done away with? So now can men sleep with men if the old law is gone?? Post Reply

IF SLEEPING AROUND WITH A MAN OR A WOMAN IN A HETEROSEXUAL RELATIONSHIP OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE IS A SIN, it GOES TO REASON EVEN THE MORE THAT THIS ALSO WOULD BE A WORSE SIN IN GOD'S EYES. Therefore, . Not only does this LAW OR COMMAND come from the Scriptures of Old Covenant(Testamant, Torah). But you will also find it written in the New Testament Covenant in Romans chapter 1, and in I Corinthians chapter 6... Sleeping with the same sex is God's word thorughout His word, never was His intensions for men to sleep with men, or women to sleep with women! The old testament says that it is an abomination for the man to leave the natural use of a woman and lay with a man. Have you read about Sodom and Gomorah? God is the same yesterday, today & foevermore. That alone is enough to know that what was abominable then is now as well. If you study, you will find that Jesus mentioned Sodom and Gomorah and that God ordained a man and a woman from the beginning of humankind. If being with the same sex was honorable, God would not have omitted blessing such a union. Post Reply

One is taken, one is left. I have no clue why they are in one bed, but one goes into judgment, one doesn't. Being as you're talking about "law", I'm thinking you're referring to homosexual men? God says in Leviticus 20:13- If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them. I don't think it's a matter of "law" or the doing away with the law or whether Christ mentioned it or not; God makes it clear that it's an abomination for a man to lie with another man as he would with a woman, and I don't believe that changes. Why do people say "sleep" when they mean "sex"? They're not the same things at all. I'm certainly no expert, but I'm quite sure that you can't even have intercourse while sleeping. Post Reply

So...what is the Topic ? Sleeping ? Ya its ok if the Men are just sleeping and are not engaging in Sexual acts... Homosexuality ? NO ! Its not OK.. Dude asked a question and its being answered using the Word as the basis for our belief. I don't read one word of judgment or negativity towards anyone in a personal way. It is our place to LOVE all and let Him judge those who have not chosen to follow Him. Maybe there would be more compassion displayed if you actually had family or dear friends who had chosen this lifestyle and you were praying for their souls. I do! And I pray daily for God to give me the opening to minister because they don't want to hear that what they are doing is wrong, that it's a sin, they have all kinds of justifications and reasoning's. What they need is to see Christ in us, see the lie that satan has blinded them with, and then so desire Him that they come to us asking us to tell them how to get peace and joy. Post Reply

I don't believe there are too many of us that can claim there is no one in our family or that can say they have no friends who are living a homosexual lifestyle. I have all the compassion in the whole for them and everyone else who is trapped in sin. Again, for the purposes of this thread, we were answering the question that was asked. There is no need to coddle or p#ssyfoot around the words that speak and bring truth forth. I agreed with everything you said above by the way. Post Reply
