this is a call for admin to do something about one PhillipJohn, he will continue 'lightly' provoke members and when they respond to his provocation they would be the ones getting deleted. this is not right. i saw quite by accident another member on here make 'railling accusations' about you being a liar (not my thoughts but those expressed by a lady in a thread i stumbled upon) it contained another account from him with the same picture. when i checked up on the woman's account, i saw a message that it had been deleted. i do not claim to know the story, but what i witness from you PhillipJohn, is that you are a trouble maker, a fire starter who subtly prods members. i am thinking about reporting YOU to ADMIN!

i am also calling for fellow members to reply to this post with their summations of my conduct, and thoughts about my move (before i make it). that guy is starting to get to me, i need the counsel of you forum members before i make any decisions, right now i am not 'on edge', i realise the potential of these subtle encounters and this is my means of being pro-active. emails are welcomed. NOT FROM YOU PHILLIPJOHN.

I have never tried to provoke, nor have I tried to have anyone removed nor Have Tried to have anyone removed. If you feel like going to admin do as you feel you need to.

It would seem pretty underhanded for you to be critical of me on this post and then say I am not to respond.

hi Nyanda,:waving:

Firstly, why is everybody on this board so EASILY offended by what others have to say?... I don't GET IT!

Secendly, Is anyone a MATURE CHRISTIAN AND OR PERSON ON THIS BOARD?!!!

I don't know what thread you're speaking about, where Phillip presents himself as a troublemaker or called someone a lair. I also don't see where anyone has presented themselves as troublemakers by speaking their thoughts on a topic. Maybe I do need new eye glasses, and tend to mis-read what is written, but I don't think so...:nahnah: lol

What I do see and read are those who APPEAR not to be able respond positively back to someone who may be, or may not be speaking in a manner they may not like, and or disagree with their comments on a topic. Just because someone doesn't like what is being said, and or expresses his/her views in a negative manner doesn't make him/her a troublemaker nor a nonchristian.

My goodness, just because someone makes a smart remark to something you say, doesn't mean he/she is a troublemaker and should be booted off the site. I'm not defending Philip or anyone, I'm just saying WHAT'S WITH ALL THE SO-CALLED CHRISTIAN DRAMA? In that, everything a person says is taken as being offensive, when it is not! And may be what they person has said, but that it may be a truth that offended., because truth does offend.

Nevetheless, I am so glad Jesus and the apostles DID NOT take what others spoke against and to them personally as an offense, but they hung in there and continue to do their work. Otherwise, we would not have the Bible or the gospel truth of Jesus Christ as we have it today.

Also, why would you leave the site, just because you didn't or dont' like what a person has to say on a topic or is directed toward your comment (s)... keep it moving:dancingp::bouncy:

What part of IGNORING A PERSON don't you and many others understand? If someone is getting on your last nerve, IGNORE him/her. And where does being a MATRUE Christian play in communicating with someone who may be or appear to be not as mature as you in certain matters? C'mon, GET A GRIP grip! Just stop reading theirr comments.

Personally, I think many who don't like what a person has to say are in fact, become the troublemaker themselves, with all their complaints to the Administrator... stop the murmuring and complaining and enjoy posting and having fun!... geeezzzz:zzzz::toomuch:

Do you think your thread concerning this is right and proper? Why couldn't you have contacted Philip ro whomever by PM? Isn't that what the BIBLE teaches us to do, to go to that person, one on one and let him/her know they have offend you, and then if it continues, THEN AND ONLY THEN DO YOU TAKE IT BEFORE THE CHURCH IN PUBLIC. So I ask, whose the troublemaker here? I would think you should have done the first thing first before taking it publicly on the board...I'm just saying:hearts:

KEEP IT MOVING! AND STIFLE YOURSLEF EDITH :yay::bouncy::prayingf:

Well... my advice is to do what you feel you need to do. Ask yourself... has he done anything to you that violates the forum rules. If so, then act. If not, then what next? You have a good point about wanting to put out the fire before it really gets raging, but... well, PERSONALLY, I don't really mind his comments as much anymore. Granted I only really use the "biblical discussion" and "christian moral" threads, but after the whole ordeal with Cattle, I've noticed he hasn't been as forward. For just a moment, put yourself in his shoes. I've found that this has always helped me out:

I'm in love with Jesus. His Word is how God speaks to us. It warns against false doctrine. Let me try to help as many of these people as I can.

Granted, he doesn't always go about the right way of doing this (and sometimes, neither do we). I agree. But I honestly believe he's trying to do what he thinks is best (just like all of us). So, instead of bad-mouthing or reporting him, like I was once tempted to do:laugh:, I enjoy my time in the threads and when he does respond, I read over it to see if he has anything fruitful to add (whether I agree with it or not, it can still be fruitful. Don't confuse fruitful with agreement). If he has something new to add to the conversation, awesome! I respond with MY comment (and hopefully IT'S fruitful as well) If he as gone back to one of his original arguments or points that has been beaten to death, I simply ignore it. I try to treat him like I would anyone else here in the forums. It is our pride that forces us to respond to these messages over and over and over again. Once we learn to get rid of this pride, we will come ever so closer to the TRUE peace that Christ has died to give us. I hope this helps.

In Christ

Garrett

I would just ignore it...PJ is mild compared to another that posts here. He (not PJ) recently posted an article that tore down evangelical christians and I dont think anyone caught it. They probably skip the real long articles, I usually do too.

We all have our faults and sometimes people wear them on their sleeve for everyone to see. Others are not so obvious.

I used to get offended at what they wrote but I think it's a testosterone thing! I have older brothers and they would argue about EVERYTHING with everyone, they knew it ALL, haha!

couldnt agree on the sky being blue, cuz it was a certain color blue...not the one I said it was, you know what I mean?

you can't win...there will always be individuals who rub us the wrong way but that is how we are built up.

love n blessings

Yes, indeed, keep it moving, and stifle yourself...:dancingp:

no need for your feathers to be unraffled, don't be so sensitive and keep your emotions under wrap. It much to do about nothing:zzzz:

Get on with the business of Enjoying yourself on the board, and as Garret says, you do what you have to do, and best for you. But I ask, what will it solve to leave, or what cause and effect will it have?:glow:

personally what i enjoy most about these boards are being able to be democratic and speak openly and freely about what you think or feel about something and consider other peoples opinions and perspectives. being that this is public there is somewhat of a protocal people use to deliver their thoughts, but when that protocal is broken and starts getting personal or vulnerable i don't mind at all as long as they are being honest, because in the end it will get talked out (like right now for instance) and i certainly don't think you or anybody should recommend that one gets deleted simply because you disagree with them and don't know how to handle what they say or how they say it. for this reason, in my opinion, it would indeed be underhanded, ludicurous, and a sham for the person in question's account to be deleted.
