Amen; it is a fact the church of the hour is playing church Hollywood style by making you believe you are following after Jesus by attending their church or saying a funny prayer like the sinner's prayer or accepting Jesus into your heart, or you believe in certain doctrines that the preacher behind the pulpit has told you. Amen, I have good news for you, God does not hear the prayer uttered by sinners John 9:31. Amen, no sinner knows how to pray as all sin is of the devil 1st John 3:8. No such scriptures that says you sin because you are of God or Jesus. I am an ex-sinner saved by grace, an ex-sinner is a righteous person Romans 6:18 and no longer fishing around Romans 3:23 an out of context verse sinn((ed)) by our of context preacher's to make you dead in your sin to be cast into hell after as the wages of sin is hell Romans 6:23 and not love. Amen get into verse 24, 25, 26 to be justified with Christ in Romans 3 as it is sins that are past and not future or present sins as we have the mind of Jesus Philippians 2:5. Grace came so that we can deny all unrightousnes and ungodliness and not create new ones called sinning Christians Titus 2:11-14. Amen, the church has fed us with diabolical garbage as there are no such scriptures to follow after Jesus. That is just vain deceit Colossians 2:8 Jesus told us his flesh means nothing it is his words are spirit and life John 6:63. The Apostle Paul told us we know no man after the flesh; hence, we know Jesus no more after the flesh as old things have passed away and all things have become new 2nd Cor 5:16-17. The Apostle Peter knew what Jesus had. It was not his person or his flesh that we follow after; we follow after his words John 6:68. Churches are dragging people this time of year to a false gospel to say we are to celebrate the resurrection when there are no scriptures like this. The Bible says we are to walk in the likeness of his resurrection, not celebrate it Romans 6:5.

Amen; the church will again come up with another lie to say it is Passover instead of Easter, which is another pagan holiday Acts 12:3. Even if it is Passover, Christ is our Passover sacrificed for us 1st Cor 5:6-8. Passover was the day of the Israelites coming out of Egypt; Christ came and became our Passover, amen. Every year or a Sunday, people are being dragged to their Sunday school church that has nothing for them. They can promise like the devil did in Matthew 4, but they sure can't deliver. They can't deliver the love of the truth. Amen. The apostle Paul told us to be followers of him as he is an example of being a follower of Christ 1st Cor 11:1. When the church runs out of examples, they turn to Hollywood, to Sunday school doctrines, to the weak and beggarly elements, the world can offer instead of turning to the Word. Paul told us in Romans 1:16-17 that he is not ashamed of Jesus or God. Paul told us he is not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation. God has nothing for nobody, neither does Jesus. It is in their words there is power for mankind to those who want to believe and not everybody, as everybody doesn't want God's love and his Son Jesus' words.

Jesus never loved everybody. He only loved the few Rev 3:19. Jesus only loves whosoever. Jesus died for everybody, but everybody does not want to love him. Time to pick up your bible and start reading what you were never told in church. Stop rebelling against the bible's words, as rebellion is the sin of witchcraft 1 Samuel 15:23. Sunday is not following after Jesus but to the preacher's pocketbook. The saving of the soul and not for you being the merchandise of sine vain preacher or denomination that only is entertaining your flesh you instead of saving your soul. Amen, time to start reading your bible and follow after Jesus' words and not his person.

John 6:63] It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

[64] But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

[65] And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

[66] From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

[67] Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

[68] Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

[69] And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

2nd Cor 5:16] Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1st Cor 11:1] Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. Time to come out from among them 2nd Cor 6:10-18 & 2nd Cor 7:1.

1st Cor 5:6] Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

[7] Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

[8] Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

2nd Thess 2:10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Romans 1:16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

[17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

1st Timothy 6:3] If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

[4] He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

[5] Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

[6] But godliness with contentment is great gain.

2nd Peter 2:[1] But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

[2] And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

[3] And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Col 2:[8] Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

2nd Cor 6:11] O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.

[12] Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.

[13] Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

[14] Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

[15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

[16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

[17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

[18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2nd Cor 7:1] Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Titus 2:11] For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

[12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

[13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

[14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Following Jesus Christ

follow Christ

In the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), Jesus’ command to "follow me" appears repeatedly (e.g., Matthew 8:22; 9:9, Mark 2:14; Luke 5:27; John 1:43). In many cases, Jesus was calling the twelve men who would become His disciples (Matthew 10:3–4). But other times, He was speaking to anyone who wanted what He had to offer (John 3:16; Mark 8:34).

In Matthew 10:34–39, Jesus stated clearly what it means to follow Him. He said, "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it."

Jesus’ bringing a “sword” and turning family members against each other can seem a little harsh after words like "whosoever believes on Him shall not perish" (John 3:16). But Jesus never softened the truth, and the truth is that following Him leads to difficult choices. Sometimes turning back may seem very appealing. When Jesus’ teaching went from the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3–11) to the coming cross, many who had followed him turned away (John 6:66). Even the disciples decided that following Jesus was too difficult the night He was arrested. Every one of them deserted Him (Matthew 26:56; Mark 14:50). On that night, following Christ meant possible arrest and execution. Rather than risk his own life, Peter denied that he even knew Jesus three times (Matthew 26:69–75).

To truly follow Christ means He has become everything to us. Everyone follows something: friends, popular culture, family, selfish desires, or God. We can only follow one thing at a time (Matthew 6:24). God states we are to have no other gods before Him (Exodus 20:3; Deuteronomy 5:7; Mark 12:30). To truly follow Christ means we do not follow anything else. Jesus said in Luke 9:23, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." There is no such thing as a "halfway disciple." As the disciples demonstrated, no one can follow Christ by the strength of his own willpower. The Pharisees were good examples of those who were trying to obey God in their own strength. Their self-effort led only to arrogance and distortion of the whole purpose of God’s Law (Luke 11:39; Matthew 23:24).

Jesus gave His disciples the secret to faithfully following Him, but they did not recognize it at the time. He said, "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing" (John 6:63). And "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them” (verse 65). The disciples had walked with Jesus for three years, learning, observing, and participating in His miracles. Yet, even they could not follow Him faithfully in their own strength. They needed a Helper.

Jesus promised many times that, once He had ascended to the Father, He would send a "Helper" to them—the Holy Spirit (John 14:26; 15:26). In fact, He told them that it was for their good that He was going away so that the Holy Spirit could come (John 16:7). The Holy Spirit indwells the heart of every believer (Galatians 2:20; Romans 8:16; Hebrews 13:5; Matthew 28:20). Jesus warned His followers that they were not to begin testifying of Him "until you have been clothed with power from on high" (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4). When the Holy Spirit came upon those first believers at Pentecost, they suddenly had all the power they needed to follow Christ, even to the death, if needed (Acts 2:1–4; 4:31; 7:59-60).

Following Jesus means striving to be like Him. He always obeyed His Father, so that’s what we strive to do (John 8:29; 15:10). To truly follow Christ means to make Him the Boss. That’s what it means to make Jesus Lord of our lives (Romans 10:9; 1 Corinthians 12:3; 2 Corinthians 4:5). Every decision and dream is filtered through His Word with the goal of glorifying Him in everything (1 Corinthians 10:31). We are not saved by the things we do for Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9) but by what He has done for us. Because of His grace, we want to please Him in everything. All this is accomplished as we allow the Holy Spirit to have complete control of every area of our lives (Ephesians 5:18). He explains the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 2:14), empowers us with spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:4-11), comforts us (John 14:16), and guides us (John 14:26). To follow Christ means we apply the truths we learn from His Word and live as if Jesus walked beside us in person.

Amen, we have the same mind Philippians 2:5 same spirit that rose Christ from the dead Romans 8:10. However, Jesus is no longer here to be followed in person 2nd Cor 5:16-17. Lots of scriptures you gave me were before the cross and out of context. Jesus died and was buried, and Amen. When somebody is dead, you cannot follow them any longer. What came out of the grave was not the same as what went into the grave. What went into the grave had flesh and blood and was breathing like you and me from mom and dad. Flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of heaven 1st Cor 15:50. What came out of the grave was a new creation Jesus breathed, he had ate and drank, he full of holes and no blood and yet he was alive the spirit of God his Father in him as he promised in John 14:10.

We are not told what happened before the cross and after the cross two different stories two different times. Before the cross Jesus was alive and talking and walking with his disciples yes, after the cross Jesus went up into heaven after spending 30 days with his disciples teaching them everything he taught over the 3.5 years he was on earth with them Acts 1:11. Even Jesus said in Mark 1:15 "Repent ye and believe the Gospel" Jesus never said "repent ye and believe in me" Jesus has to be in you Colossians 1:27. Jesus being beside, in front of behind you will not do anybody any good ask Judas Iscariot he was still a thief or Peter was still an unbeliever until the day of Pentecost when Christ finally can be in people. Before the cross, Christ can not be in anybody. Hence Christian Christ within. Why do Christians want to remain sinners and have the devil dwwll in them is beyond me? The bible calls them illigatmate children Hebrews 12:8 and not sons as they refuse to obey Jesus' words to sin no more John 5:14 as all sin is of the devil Period 1st John 3:8. No such verse as you sin because your of God or Jesus as the wages of sin is not love but death hell fire and brimstone Ren 21:8

Jesus has to be born again, born of the spirit as what is flesh is flesh and what is spirit is spirit John 3:6. I am a follower after the apostle Paul as he is a follower after Jesus Christ Paul is my example of how to follow after Jesus 1st Cor 4:16 and 1st Cor 11:1. As Jesus words are spirit and life John 6:63. Paul preached he was not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ Romans 1:16-17. Paul never said he was not ashamed of God or Jesus; he told us he is not ashamed of the words of the Gospel of Christ as the bible, the gospel of Christ is made up of words. There, in those words, is the power of God unto salvation. God has no power for anybody, and neither does Jesus; it is in their words there is power to every one that is going to believe as not everybody believes the words of the bible ask the denominational church come Easter Sunday or any day of the week why they have Sunday school and sports and all kinds of diabolical garbage for the flesh and nothing for the soul. I am glad that I do not need to wait on the Holy Ghost to work with me as I open up my bible and that is him speaking as the day of Pentecost the Holy Ghost came down with words hence the bible.

Lots of bad teaching we have in the churches as bible college don't know what took place before ave after the cross they have it mixed up into one big abomination using David as an excuse to sin when David was before the cross a different salvation he never had Jesus to die for him like he did for you and me today. David never had the opportunity like most Christians of trampling upon the words of the bible calling it an unholy thing Hebrews 10:29 like most Christians are reading perverted Bibles and no love of the truth. The bible says David was a perfect man and Jesus never died for him. Before ave after the cross two different eras.

Amen, believers and not Sunday school preachers that are not believers, Santa Claus, Dinners Sports, Brunches, Unbelief, Church camps, Church books (outside of the bible and a good dictionary, infant baptisms, mass, Sin, unrighteousness, ungodliness, Idolitors, Bible college, Church sales, Christmas cakes, Philosophies, Vain deceit, False Teachings, Programs etc. all of which are not in the bible but are for the unbelever preacher or priest to get at your pocketbook. All adding to the bible Rev 22:18-19

The Bible says to come out from among them and not stay there like a wort on a pickle or a lump on a log, believing their false doctrines of devils and seducing spirits that are dragging people to hell with them 2nd Cor 6:11-18 & Rev 18. You don't need a big church, just two or three people,e, and even that is sometimes hard to maintain. Jesus had 12 disciples, and one of them was a devil. The devil will always walk right into busting things up because of their unbelief. Jude 1:4 asks Adam and Eve. Jesus started with 12 disciples, then he went down to 0 as Peter tried to come up with a different gospel than what Jesus was preaching Mark 14:27-31. When the man of God is not thoroughly furnished and perfect unto all good works as it is written in the bible then just leave come out. Don't just sit in the devil's play house called the church come out.

1st Timothy 6:3] If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

Isaiah 56:10] His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

[11] Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

[12] Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.

2nd Timothy 3:16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

[17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

2nd Peter 2:1] But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

[2] And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

[3] And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

David Loved God!!

Bible Articles scriptures Reference!!

David man after God’s heart

To understand why David was a man after God’s own heart, we need to see what characteristics he had to qualify for such an exalted description. In the book of Acts, the apostle Paul speaks of God’s feelings about King David: “After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do’” (Acts 13:22). The answer to why David was considered a man after God’s own heart is found right in the verse: David did whatever God wanted him to do. An obvious question is how could God still call David a man after His own heart when David committed such terrible sins, including adultery and murder?

We learn much of David’s character in the book of Psalms as he opened up his life for all to examine. David’s life was a portrait of success and failure, and the biblical record highlights the fact that David was far from perfect. But what made David a cut above the rest was that his heart was pointed toward God. He had a deep desire to follow God’s will and do “everything” God wanted him to do. He was a man after God’s own heart. Let’s look at some characteristics of David’s life to discover what that entails:

Part of why David is called a man after God’s own heart is that he had absolute faith in God. Nowhere in Scripture is this point better illustrated than in 1 Samuel 17 where David as a young shepherd boy fearlessly slew the Philistine, Goliath. Shortly before the duel, we see direct evidence of David’s faith when David says, “‘The LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.’ And Saul said to David, ‘Go, and the LORD be with you!’” (verse 37). David was fully aware that God was in control of his life, and he had faith that God would deliver him from impending danger. How else would one venture into a potentially fatal situation with such calm and confidence? David knew early on in life that God was to be trusted and obeyed. As we see in Scripture, David’s faith pleased God, and God rewards David for his faithfulness.

Another reason David was a man after God’s own heart is that he absolutely loved God’s Law. Of the 150 psalms in the Bible, David is credited for writing over half of them. Writing at various and often troubling times in his life, David repeatedly mentioned how much he loved God’s perfect Word. We find a beautiful example of this in Psalm 119:47–48: “For I delight in your commands because I love them. I lift up my hands to your commands, which I love, and I meditate on your decrees.” It is not hard to see his complete adoration for God’s Word. Also notice how David “meditates” on God’s statutes. God granted David understanding and wisdom through daily meditation. We would do well to not only read God’s Word but also think about it throughout the day, for God loves us to think about Him. “Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart. They do nothing wrong; they walk in his ways” (Psalm 119:2–3).

David was a man after God’s own heart in that he was truly thankful. “I wash my hands in innocence, and go about your altar, O LORD, proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds” (Psalm 26:6–7). David’s life was marked by seasons of great peace and prosperity as well as times of fear and despair. But through all of the seasons in his life, he never forgot to thank the Lord for everything that he had. It is truly one of David’s finest characteristics. “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!” (Psalm 100:4, ESV). As followers of Jesus Christ, we would do well to follow David’s lead of offering praise through thanksgiving to our Lord.

After he sinned, David was truly repentant. David’s sin with Bathsheba is recorded in 2 Samuel 11:2–5. The mighty fall hard, and David’s fall included adultery, lying, and murder. He had sinned against God, and he admits it in 2 Samuel 12:13: “David said to Nathan, ‘I have sinned against the LORD.’ And Nathan said to David, ‘The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.’” But admitting our sin and asking for forgiveness is only half of the equation. The other half is repentance, and David did that as well. Psalm 51 is David’s prayer of repentance to God: “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!" (Psalm 51:1–2).

In conclusion, David was a man after God’s own heart because he demonstrated his faith and was committed to following the Lord. Yes, his faith was tested on a grand scale, and he failed at times. But after his sin he sought and received the Lord’s forgiveness. In the final analysis, David loved God’s Law and sought to follow it exactly. As a man after God’s own heart, David is a role model for all of us.

The Bible says to hate Mo, her father, brother, sister, etc. and your own life also. We have to hate ourselves which means crucifying the old man of sin Romans 6:6. This is what people do not want to do they want to fornicate, drunk, smoke, swear, pervert, and be abominable they do not want to hate themselves. Paul said that we crucify the flesh Galations 5:24 that they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh that takes works. Jesus said in John 3:19-21 men love their darkness they live their sin as sin is decietful Hebrews 3:13 and it brings forth death hell fire and brimstone and not everlasting life James 1:15 or Romans 6:23. It takes works to remain saved the devil will always try to find a way in through you when the whole armour of God is not set right in Christ. Looking for your week spots as he knows how to entice you as he does not want to loose you.

They followed after God yes Amen as Jesus never came yet. They caught glimpses of him. However, one thing that I have that David never had or Abraham, Paul or Peter is a full bible. They had to wait on the Holy Ghost wait on God for the answer. Today we have much more then David or Paul or John had that is a full bible. Abraham was never blessed with his sins being washed away same as David as they were covered. After the cross, after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ it is no more covering it is being washed. They never had the foot of the Son of God to trample upon like we do today a full bible and what is the world doing? Getting rid of it, perverting it, hating it, despising it, mocking it etc. Look at the mess the world is in today from 9/11, Afghanistan, wars to COVID to Trump etc. all God's doing because he is full filling scriptures Many people blame the devil!!! False, it is all God's doing the devil does not have the same power like he did in the old testament. The devil cannot do anything unless God ordains him to do so ask Job.

We know that God does not hear sinners: Isaiah 1:15 and Psalm 66:18 are passages that say that God is not obligated to hear the prayer of a sinner. With knowledge of the Scriptures and valid application, the simple man born blind proved that their claim “we know this man is a sinner” was false.

i. “As a well-brought-up Jew the man regards it as axiomatic that a miracle wrought in answer to prayer is proof that its worker is no sinner. No divine help is available for impenitent sinners.” (Tasker)

ii. The man’s statement was in one sense true and in another sense false. God is certainly under no obligation to hear the prayer of the man or woman in rebellion against Him. Yet in His mercy and for His ultimate wise purpose, He may hear the unrepentant sinner.

iii. Yet the man’s statement was completely true in this sense: “If Christ had been an impostor, it is not possible to conceive that God would have listened to his prayer, and given him the power to open the blind man’s eyes.” (Spurgeon)

God doesn't want anybody to perish it even grieves him when they do

Christian Standard Bible 2nd Peter 3:9

The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.

Ezekiel 18:23

23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?" [This is] the declaration of the Lord God . "Instead, don't I [take pleasure] when he turns from his ways and lives?
