Dear readers as you can see from the Fix-A-Flat Teddy quote below he calls the blessed hope the long awaited return of Christ for his saints the rapture -- FICTION 👎 and falsely claims that the Catholic Church made it up
" GEESH, what an INDOCTRINATED LAD this rsvp is with his cathoholic taught 'god' of a 'secret rapture' ! Right Quiz? " -- fix a flat teddy
🙂🙂 But let's see if that's true according to church history
according to The Moody Handbook of Theology, the official beginning of the Roman Catholic church occurred in 590 ad with Pope Gregory I. This time marked the consolidated of lands controlled by authority of the pope, and thus the church's power, into what would later be known as "the Papal States." --
😉😉 So all we have to do is find some documentation prior
to 590 ad that speaks of christians embracing the rapture and completely destroy fix a flat teddys argument that it was made up by the catholic church
PIECE OF CAKE ❗❗ 🎂 🤣🤣
🙂👍💯 we begin with what many believe to be the very first Christian document outside of the New Testament called the Didache (“The Teaching”), pronounced DID-ah-kay. It teaches that the church will encounter the persecution of the Antichrist, which will then be followed by the coming of Christ to rescue his people and resurrect his people
👨🏫The Didache is an extremely important early Christian document because it is a window allowing us to see the faith and practice of a segment of the primitive church. The date of the Didache has been estimated AD 50–120. It is agreed that it is a compositional document made up of several sources, of which the earliest of the sources were likely written before AD 70. The most probable place of origin is Syria, perhaps in the city of Antioch, which was the main Christian center at that time. The Didache contains three parts. The first is a code of Christian morals, the “Two Ways,” expounding on the way of life and the way of death. The second is a church order manual, a rules of conduct, prescribing correct practice of baptism, church polity, the Lord’s supper, etc. 🙂😉 The final part concludes with an eschatological section of an outline commentary to the Olivet Discourse; hence, since this is the first interpretation in church history on Jesus’ teaching about his second coming, we will benefit from what it says
The early church viewed this document as containing orthodox teaching, including its interpretation of eschatology. it was used for instruction for church leaders, believers, and baptismal candidates. The eschatological section of the Didache is found in chapter 16. It states:
(1) “Watch” over your life: “let your lamps” be not quenched “and your loins” be not ungirded, but be “ready,” for ye know not “the hour in which our Lord cometh.” (2) But be frequently gathered together seeking the things which are profitable for your souls, for the whole time of your faith shall not profit you except ye be found perfect at the last time; (3) for in the last days the false prophets and the corrupters shall be multiplied, and the sheep shall be turned into wolves, and love shall change to hate; (4) for as lawlessness increaseth they shall hate one another and persecute and betray, and then shall appear the deceiver of the world as a Son of God, and shall do signs and wonders and the earth shall be given over into his hands and he shall commit iniquities which have never been since the world began. (5) Then shall the creation of mankind come to the fiery trial and “many shall be offended” and be lost, but “they who endure” in their faith “shall be saved” by the curse itself. (6) And “then shall appear the signs” of the truth. First the sign spread out in Heaven, then the sign of the sound of the trumpet, and thirdly the resurrection of the dead: (7) but not of all the dead, but as it was said, “The Lord shall come and all his saints with him.” (8) Then shall the world “see the Lord coming on the clouds of Heaven.”
The main gospel source that the Didache 16 uses is Matthew, particularly chapters 24–25, alluding frequently from it. The first verse contains exhortations to be ready spiritually (e.g., “Watch” over your life”). In verse 2 there is given a cause and effect warning that a lack of consistent gathering with other believers will hinder faith-readiness. Next, verses 3–8 provide us with the chronology of key events:
vv. 3–4a—false prophets, corrupters, love shall change to hate, lawlessness increaseth.
vv. 4b–5—then shall appear the deceiver of the world [Antichrist] as a Son of God, and shall do signs and wonders and the earth shall be given over into his hands and he shall commit iniquities which have never been since the world began [great tribulation]. Then shall the creation of mankind come to the fiery trial and “many shall be offended” and be lost but “they who endure” in their faith [during the great tribulation] “shall be saved” [delivered from the day of the Lord] by the curse itself.
v. 6—And “then shall appear the signs” of the truth. First the sign spread out in Heaven, then the sign of the sound of the trumpet, and thirdly the resurrection of the dead [i.e., resurrection of the righteous].
v. 8—Then shall the world “see the Lord coming on the clouds of Heaven” [shekinah glory].
🙂🙂👍💯 As is clearly indicated in the sequence above, the Didache understands that Antichrist will appear first before the coming of Christ to resurrect the righteous and deliver his faithful people who are alive.
Incidentally, it should be noted that in two earlier chapters of the Didache, it interprets the elect who are gathered in Matthew 24:31 as the “Church”: “so let thy Church be gathered together from the ends of the earth” Didache 9:4; and, “Remember, Lord, thy Church, to deliver it from all evil and to make it perfect in thy love, and gather it together in its holiness from the four winds to thy kingdom which thou hast prepared for it” Didache 10:5.
👉👉It is fundamental to the prewrath position that the resurrection of the dead-righteous and the deliverance of the alive-righteous follow the Antichrist’s great tribulation. And this can be seen above in this Christian document 👈👈. Our final authority is the Word of God and that is where we must find our inspired teaching for faith and practice. Even though it is not authoritatively binding, it is however wise to learn what others who have gone before us have said about the Bible. Church history can teach us a lot. Since this is the case, how much more weight carries for writings during the apostolic age such as the Didache!😉
PIECE OF CAKE ❗❗ 🎂 🤣🤣 this proves not only is Fix-A-Flat Teddy a false teacher but he is also historically and eschatologically ignorant 🤪👎

Another customary contradictory commentary from Quiz “wisdom”. Ahem‼️
The Quiz, who routinely makes up arbitrary rules for others to follow, is also in the habit of self-contradiction.
For example (the latest one), the Quiz is critical when people read commentaries. But at the same time the Quiz expects people to read his commentary post above that rallies against reading commentaries.
Self-contradicting arguments are self-defeating arguments. Go figure‼️

@dave
Dave, the person that posts entire chapters of books by man, but never posts what the Holy Spirit had revealed to himself.
Dave, people do not need to read mans commentaries about the Scriptures, they just need to read the Word for themselves.
But people are lazy, pathetic, most do not want Messiah to teach them, they want a man to tell them what to believe, is that not what the pharisees were doing.

rsvp misrepresents Ted in what he says when rsvp states- "Dear readers as you can see from Teddys quote below he calls the blessed hope the long awaited return of Christ for his saints the rapture -- FICTION and falsely claims that the Catholic Church made it up' END QUOTE of rsvp.
Then rsvp quotes me - 'GEESH, what an INDOCTRINATED LAD this rsvp is with his cathoholic taught 'god' of a 'secret rapture' ! Right Quiz? " --
END QUOTE of teddy!
Where Quiz and readers did I say there is NO 'blessed hope' in the second coming of the WORD, sitting on the right hand of the Father for His sinless saints in the above quote of me??? Its not there! I never said the SECOND COMING was 'fiction' and the cathoholic made it up! I SAID the cathoholic CULT 'church' made up the 'secret rapture' (CULT pre trib) for STUUUUUUPID people like rsvp to believe and to get the HEAT off the cathoholic CULT 'church' as being always taught in the early Churches as the 1st BEAST of Revelation chapter 13 verses 1 thru 10 and described in DETAIL in Revelation chapter 17 verses 1-5!!!
Try to pay attention rsvp, I said the cathoholic made it up the 'secret rapture' (pre trib) that you believe in rsvp by your clear statements below!
rsvp says the Church is 'secretly raptured' out of the earth >before< the tribulation when he states in another thread (in rsvp's CULT tales 'episode 22' thread!) - which rsvp states - 'millions of Christians that depart that are raptured >>>prior<<< to the Great tribulation' End quote of rsvp! LOL!
But what's really hilarious readers is rsvp contradicts himself in THIS THREAD when he states of the Didache!!!
Quote of rsvp - 'the Didache (“The Teaching”), pronounced DID-ah-kay. It teaches that >>>the church will encounter the persecution of the Antichrist (during the Great tribulation!) <<<, which will >>>then be followed by the coming of Christ to rescue his people and resurrect his people.<<<
Note readers the CLEAR contradiction of rsvp at one point saying that 'millions of Christians that depart (this earth) that are >>>raptured prior to the Great tribulation<<<' and then posts what the Didache which teaches that >>>the church will encounter the persecution of the Antichrist (during the Great tribulation!)<<<, which will then be followed by the coming of Christ to rescue his people and resurrect his people.
Its real simple readers that the persecution of the sinless saints by the Antichrist takes place BEFORE His second coming and therefore OBVIOUSLY the Church still exists ON EARTH at that time of the Great tribulation!
BUTTTTTT rsvp states the church is not mentioned after chapter 4 of Revelations!!! LOL!
For rsvp CULTLY states - 'the church is not found from revelation 4....' and on? (stated in rsvp's CULT tales 'episode 22' thread AGAIN!)
GEESH, what an INDOCTRINATED LAD this rsvp is with his cathoholic taught 'god' of a 'secret rapture' that is >>>before<<< His second coming that the Bible does not EVER mention! Right Quiz?
So what did rsvp prove about me? NOTHING! just attempted to twist what I clearly said about the cathoholic CULT 'church' making up this pre trib BALONEY of a 'secret rapture' before YHWH's SECOND coming for His SINLESS saints!
You see readers, clearly above you can see rsvp teaches a pre trib RESURRECTION of the sinless saints and they will NOT go thru the Great tribulation according to rsvp's CULT teaching! Is that NOT what he states above quoted from another thread titled 'tales episode 22' below this new thread!
He is right about one thing though, all his threads are 'tales' of false doctrine and many CULT episodes!!!

😢😢 It's really sad to think that fix a flat Teddy believes the bridegroom Jesus Christ is going to let his bride the church get beat up during the tribulation .
The tribulation is God's judgment on the wickedand Revelation 9:20 and 21 describe them to a " T "
20: But the people who did not die in these plagues still refused to repent of their evil deeds and turn to God. They continued to worship demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood—idols that can neither see nor hear nor walk!
21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.
🤔🤣🤣 dear readers does it sound like the church Christians to you ❓ of course not ! True Christians obviously repented to Jesus Christ for all of the above sins. Those who are described in Revelation 9 20 and 21 are those who hate Jesus Christ and love their sins -- because like it says in the text they refuse to repent and turn to God. So obviously the judgments that God is pouring out on the wicked and it stands to reason that the church would be raptured and not be present for it right ❓💯👍🙂 RIGHT ❗
Continuing on......
The primary Scripture passage on the rapture is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. It states that all living believers, along with all believers who have died, will meet the Lord Jesus in the air and will be with Him forever. The rapture is God’s removing of His people from the earth. A few verses later, in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Paul says, “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” The book of Revelation, which deals primarily with the time period of the tribulation, is a prophetic message of how God will pour out His wrath upon the earth during the tribulation. It seems inconsistent for God to promise believers that they will not suffer wrath and then leave them on the earth to suffer through the wrath of the tribulation. The fact that God promises to deliver Christians from wrath shortly after promising to remove His people from the earth seems to link those two events together.
Another crucial passage on the timing of the rapture is Revelation 3:10, in which Christ promises to deliver believers from the “hour of trial” that is going to come upon the earth. This could mean two things. Either Christ will protect believers in the midst of the trials, or He will deliver believers out of the trials. Both are valid meanings of the Greek word translated “from.” However, it is important to recognize what believers are promised to be kept from. It is not just the trial, but the “hour” of trial. Christ is promising to keep believers from the very time period that contains the trials, namely the tribulation. The purpose of the tribulation, the purpose of the rapture, the meaning of 1 Thessalonians 5:9, and the interpretation of Revelation 3:10 all give clear support to the pre-tribulational position. If the Bible is interpreted literally and consistently, the pre-tribulational position is the most biblically-based interpretation
🤪🤪 who should we believe the bible the blessed hope of Christ's return for his bride or false fix a flat teddy's gloom and doom post tribulation nightmare ❓

The teaching of the rapture shouldn’t surprise anyone.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone when God removes his people from judgements that are intended only for the wicked.
For example, God removed Lot and his family from judgement against the sinful cites of Sodom and Gomorrah. God removed Noah and his family from judgement against the wicked of the earth when he flooded the entire earth.
God delivered Rahab, the repentant prostitute from judgement against the wicked city of Jordan. Those are but 3 examples of God removing believers from the consequences of judgement intended only for the wicked.
Teddy has once again confused judgements against the wicked with the sufferings and persecution of Christians who obediently warn the wicked in advance of coming judgements against sinful man.
