A Jewish activist group dedicated to the controversial project of building a Third Temple in Jerusalem has launched a crowdfunding appeal to scientifically breed the “perfect red heifer”

dial 1-800-perfect to speak to someone in human resources

But what does the biblical Greek say?

Ephesians 4:13 says that the spiritual gifts are given to build up the body of Christ “until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Some translations say that we will become “perfect” (instead of “mature”), and from this some people have mistakenly thought that we can reach sinless perfection in this life. The Bible teaches that, while we are in the flesh, we will always struggle with a sin nature (see Romans 7:14–24). No one will be “perfect” (sinless) until we reach heaven.

The word translated “mature” in Ephesians 4:13 is the Greek word teleios. It is used throughout the New Testament to mean “perfect,” “complete,” “full-grown,” and “mature.” What Ephesians 4:13 teaches is that, the more we grow in Christ, the stronger and more unified we will be as a church. The verse does not teach that we will stop sinning.

Another passage that people sometimes get confused about is Colossians 1:28, which says, in some translations, that Paul wants to “present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” Also, in Colossians 4:12 Paul prays that we would “stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.” In both verses, the Greek word for perfect should be understood to mean “mature” or “full-grown,” not “having no sin.”

Apparantly some bible translations think the measure of the stature of Christ is maturity, and they do not know that Jesus Christ is very much perfect, as that is the fulness of Christ...perfection, the same as we know the captain of our salvation is declared perfect, by the sufferings He endured for us, and BEING MADE PERFECT HE BECAME THE AUTHOR OF ETERNAL SALVATION UNTO ALL THEM THAT OBEY HIM...........................................................

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

The High Priest , Jesus the Son of God, was tempted in all ways as we are, yet without sin, we go to the grace of Christ when tempted by this world we are to overcome, and CHRIST SUFFERED BEING TEMPTED TO SUCCOUR HIS SHEEP WHEN TEMPTED..

Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

What happens when we do not endure temptation and sin ? We do not be blessed and do not receive the crown of life, because we do not then love the Lord.

Lust tempts the men without the Lord charity in them which endures all things, that brings forth sin, then it brings forth death:

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Enduring the temptations and overcoming them as Christ overcame the world, is to be sincere, to be without offence till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness means being empty of unrighteousness/sin..

Philippians 1:10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.

11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, and CHRIST BORE OUR SINS IN HIS OWN BODY SO WE BE DEAD TO SINS, IS WHEN WE ARE ALIVE UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ARE HEALED..

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Christians coming in the name of Christ but are not Christians.

They are deceivers, they are traitors, they are beasts..

Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2 Peter 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

A full time job answering with Gods words against the wordless mockers, as commanded..

2 Timothy 4:I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

not forsaking sins is not confessing them, confessing and forsaking is being free from sin:

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

more on teleios

When used of persons the word perfect simply means attaining the full limits of stature, strength, and mental power within their reach. It conveys the idea of full; completed growth as contrasted with childhood. In Heb. 5:14, the writer says, "but strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age" (emphasis mine, JTT). The New American Standard Bible translates it, "but solid food is the mature." It is obvious that telefos, translated "of full age," is in contrast to the word "babe" verse 13. The idea behind "babe" is that of immaturity, being untaught, or unskilled and is so defined by the expression, "is unskillful in the word of righteousness" (Heb. 5:13). Those spoken of as being "of full age" (or, perfect) are those who are spiritually mature.

In Eph. 4:13-14 the contrast between the perfect man and the spiritually immature is made clear: "unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: that we henceforth be no more children." The "perfect man" of this text is the one who has attained "the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ." He has completed his growth (that for which he was intended), namely to be a man in Christ. Having reached this goal, there are higher ends to be reached, for one is to always "study to show thyself approved of God" (2 Tim. 2:15). This is precisely what Paul had in mind when he said, "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are behind,, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press onward to the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: . . ." (Phil. 3:13-15). In Phil. 3:12, Paul said he was not yet perfect, and in the text quoted above he admonishes those who have attained perfection to be thus minded. There is no contradiction!

He is simply saying that he has not ,reached the place where further advances are not needed.

fix a flat and as for Apple please take special note of this

"Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall" (1 Cor. 10:12). When one reaches maturity there is still room for advances.
