And view ya do Posted : 17 Dec, 2020 04:21 PM Since the display often headlines biblical anyway and since chauvinists and feminists agree to public displays of women’s bodies and both chauvinists and feminists think “women should be proud of the bodies” (which really means public nudity and defiance of God’s covering initiative), then why don’t chauvinist news anchors appear on screen with low cut muscle shirts and with short revealing Scotch and Irish type kelts. And oh yes, please cross your legs as a gesture of false modesty—just like the girls do. OH I hope no one thinks I’m serious Always wonder why feminists wear revealing skirts and then cross their legs in a form of mock modesty. Actually, if a woman is genuinely modest, wouldn’t she already be wearing longer skirts?? That would avoid the embarrassment of creeping skirts and one wouldn’t have to pull-tailor your clothing on the fly. Maybe the skirt material really does lengthen if you keep pulling at it. Yep, we’ve come along way—we’re no longer ashamed. Doesn’t the Bible talk about being ashamed???? Oh well, that was probably for the Puritans and Adam and Eve waaay back when!!! BUT WE live in the modern age we’re smarter Yeah, but aren’t we getting kinda more and more like the then “modern“ world that perished in the great flood?? Post Reply

The modern contradiction of dress between men and women resulted largely because worship shifted from the Creator to creature. Feminism became our god. Women’s bodies are as much an object of worship today as yesteryears. Female nudity and prostitution was a serious form of worship in pagan temples long ago. Post Reply

Not us!! Fact is, if you engage in intimacy before marriage—the Bible refers to you as a prostitute. I’ll go further, if you even >>think<< about having sex before marriage, you are guilty of adultery. But we can always try to lower God’s standards of holiness so as to make us appear “righteous” (at least in our own eyes) That probably explains our lack of shame and our lack of remorse Post Reply

When I was younger my skirts and dresses were short. I enjoy my jeans now too. Many men dress inappropriate for their age. God looks at the heart. A woman can have her dress down to her ankles and have a mean vindictive heart. Post Reply

And view ya do Posted : 17 Dec, 2020 05:16 PM I’ve heard some people speaking against self-humiliation, repentance and confession of our sinful thoughts. One guy mockingly refereed to humbling our selves before God as “self-loathing”. And a perfectionism heretic makes fun of confessing sins. He responds to his sins simply by artificially lowering God’s high, humanly impossible standard of holiness to a level so low that even the heretic’s sin and his sinful lusts are reinterpreted as less then evil and no longer recognized as sin. Dressing otherwise is leaving oneself open to objectification. That does not excuse the person who is doing the objectifying however. He/she is in the wrong as well. But why tempt someone by dressing immodestly? Neither being tempting, nor objectifying is right. Post Reply

And view ya do Posted : 18 Dec, 2020 02:53 AM same spirit, same tactics. how long until we believe the devil is real, and has this world deceived right now ? the doctrine of the devil is bnort pleasing God, but pleasing ourselves, and to lie how God accepts it. so they speak great swelling words, good words, fair speeches, but they are at the same time denying the power of Christ. the devil, through littledavids name, invents a topic he thinks makes him seem righteous. then goes on to show his real intention is to say it not possible to do what God tells us, including to dress modestly. the name of moonlght then agrees to wear whatever you want, as their doctrine is to speak what sounds good and to deny it in the same breath. then the name of justhangingaround is in agreement with the name of littledavid, who moonlight agreed with justhangingaround thinks dressing modestly is correct, he also thinks doing only good and no evil is not good, the same hypocritical mouth as littledavid, moonlight, quiznos, no wonder you cant tell who is who when it has not only the same spirit but a deceiving one...
