Grumpy people cant feel happy under any circumstances, but simple people can enjoy with their children something special, which has no harm in it, it has all goodness in it, because Christmas is about Christ. Eating food & giving of gifts doesn't go against those principles, so yes I'll be celebrating Christmas it'll be a low key affair this year just me & my children....:-) Post Reply

When eactly was the Messuah born, the Scripture do not say. Did the Messiah say to celebrate His birth, No, He did say to proclaim His death thru breaking bread with fellow BELIEVERS. Who was born, December 25th, no one knows, as there was no December in the Hebrew 360 day calender. People need to believe the Scriptures, not the traditions of the whor-e of Rome, or any mans traditions. Post Reply

Posted : 9 Dec, 2020 11:09 AM I agree, we don’t need to wait for christianized pagan holidays to celebrate the birth, life, death, resurrection and glorification of the Son of God. We should be doing that as a way of life every day. But even though Christmas has been heavily commercialized we can politely seize this holiday opportunity by turning the conversation to the Christ for whom Christmas is supposed to be about. It is part of a control system used to lie to children and keep people enslaved to debt and consumerism. I don't want any part of it. Why do you need to be told when to buy gifts for someone? Why should I be forced to use annual leave at a time of the year due to the weather when I can't do the things I want? Why would you want to lie to children giving credit to a false idol called Santa for giving them gifts and encouraging them to effectively worship him to get what they want? Then there's slightly older children being threatened with punishment if they expose the lies to younger children. The whole thing is just about greed and lies wrapped up in paganism and fairy lights. Associating Jesus and his birth to it is just an insult to Christ. I'd rather be classed as grumpy in truth than a cheerful liar. Churches love it because it's an opportunity for marketing to get more income from people searching for truth. Post Reply

Wise men brought gifts . It's something to celebrate. A day if the year was set aside for a Holiday. Nothing unholy about it. Christians celebrate the Birth of Christ King of Kings.
