Ever since Adam and Eve sinned, pain has become a distinctive hallmark of hardcore discipline that no one wants to talk much about.
That concept is especially difficult for who believe “Jesus is just my Great Genie god who gives me what I want”, sorta like the health-wealth and prosperity gospel hoaxers

Hebrews 12:5,6,10,11: Do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, because the **LORD DISCIPLINES THOSE HE LOVES**, And He punishes everyone He accepts as a son... God disciplines us for our own good, that we may share in His holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
If we fail to daily ask forgiveness and repent of our sins God will **DISCIPLINE US** and sometimes it will be very painful. We will also **LOSE ETERNAL REWARDS** and a **CLOSE RELATIONSHIP** with God!

ADAM7777 and QUIZNOS do you believe the following words in John 1:1-4,18 below were inspired by God??? Why do you refuse to answer tis simple question??
John 1:1-4, 18: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the **WORD WAS GOD**! He was with God in the beginning . Through **HIM** all things were made, without **HIM** nothing was made that had been made. In **HIM** was **LIFE**, and that **LIFE** was the **LIGHT OF ALL MANKIND**... No one has ever seen God but the **ONE** and only Son, **WHO IS HIMSELF GOD** and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made Him known!!
Ephesians 2:8-10: For it is by **GRACE** you have been saved, and this is **NOT FROM YOURSELVES**, it is the **GIFT OF GOD**--**NOT BY WORKS** so that no one can boast. For we are **GOD's HANDIWORK**, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do!
God's **BORN FROM ABOVE** saints can earn countless **ETERNAL REWARDS** for faithful and loving serve in teaching and keeping God's New Testament commands.
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, "For the Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels, and **THEN**He will **REWARD**each person according to what they have done!"

Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, and Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people, and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him!!
