When believers gather to break bread, why are they silent, why do they confess sin, why is the atmosphere so somber instead of rejoicing. The Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you;c do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. In the elements, the matzo and piece of leavened bread along with the grape juice or wine, How do we see Messiah in order to worship Him. This is to be a MEMORIAL, a time for rejoicing, not a time for silence. The paschal lamb was slain, ALL sin had been judged and atoned for in the body of Messiah ( this is a one time event,as Messiah went to the cross just one time ).Now He is seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for believers. KJV, NKJV, NASB Many churches have Order of services that different from others. If you don't go are believe in going to a Church, that is Your own Personal choice. The Bible teaches , do not fail to assemble yourself together. Post Reply

When believers meet to break bread, a.k.a communion, how are they to see the Messiah with the elements of the matzo, a piece of leavened bread and grape juice or wine. Read Isaiah 53 when you break bread, and see Him through the elements. Post Reply

Isaiah 53 verses 3 - 5 3 He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Most places the people are silent, they say nothing, they only follow the orders of the self appointed one called pastor. The people are told to confess any sin before taking the elements, not understanding their sins have already been forgiven. The people remain silent as they are told to think about Messiah, yet never proclaim who He is, or what He is like. As the sheep is silent before the shearers, so too are the people as they are being fleeced and silenced by the blind and unbelieving self appointed pastors. Post Reply

A Believer in Jesus Christ, the message if the Cross. Communion doesn't save you. It's the rememberance of Jesus death for Our sins. I'm not the one confused, Quiznos. Post Reply

The post is about seeing Messiah through the breaking of bread, no salvation or anything you have posted. Maybe the ' pastor ' has never mentioned this as he has no idea what he is teaching.
