Many christians believe they must do something in order to be saved, such as repenting of ALL of their sins.
Others believe they must do good works to show that they have been saved.
Still others believe that GOD Almighty had chosen they and not others to be saved.
What does the Word of GOD Almighty say.
Matthew 11 verses 25 -30
Rest for the Weary
(Luke 10:21-24)
25 At that time Jesus declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.
26 Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight.
27 All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.
28 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Acts 16 verses 25 - 34
The Conversion of the Jailer
25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
26 Suddenly a strong earthquake shook the foundations of the prison. At once all the doors flew open and everyone’s chains came loose.
27 When the jailer woke up and saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, presuming that the prisoners had escaped.
28 But Paul called out in a loud voice, “Do not harm yourself! We are all here!”
29 Calling for lights, the jailer rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas.
30 Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.”
32 Then Paul and Silas spoke the word of the Lord to him and to everyone in his house.
33 At that hour of the night, the jailer took them and washed their wounds. And without delay, he and all his household were baptized.
34 Then he brought them into his home and set a meal before them. So he and all his household rejoiced that they had come to believe in God.
I guess Paul and Silas were wrong telling the man that all he had to do was to BELIEVE in the Messiah,
Bad Paul and Silas for misleading the man.
Ephesians 2 verses 1 -10
1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
2 in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ways of this world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, fulfilling the cravings of our flesh and indulging its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature children of wrath.
4 But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!
6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
7 in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
8 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.a
There are a lot more, but these should be enough to show that the message of the Grace of GOD Almighty is an easy yoke, and a light burden.
I would take Messiahs easy believeism any day of the week.
Quiz, you’re making o’proph proud!! I see you’re quoting larger sections of verse lately but you’re still ignoring the larger context!
What about that verse in Matthew 7:14 that says:
“For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few”.
That verse seems to contradict everything you lifted, yep lifted!
Now let’s get back into the context of things.
Quiz, Ask yourself (no wait, don’t ask yourself) what Jesus means when he says his burden is light.
Note to self: “Let’s see, how can I ask this differently so Quiz starts finally asking the Holy Spirit for guidance?” Oh, I know—I could just tell Quiz to ask the Holy Spirit what Jesus is saying and the Holy Spirit would tell Quiz: 2 Timothy 2:15 “Make every effort to present yourself before God as a proven worker who does not need to be ashamed, teaching the message of truth accurately.”
There ya go Quiz, the Holy Spirit says to handle the Word accurately.
That means understanding each portion of scripture in context the way the author as in (Author) intended AND to make sure your interpretation doesn’t contradict other scripture. Ah-hum
Quiz, I’ve been trying to hammer that point home to your son and he still...never mind
Matthew 13:29023: Jesus says, "The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word they quickly fall away. The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word making it unfruitful. But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one [BORN FROM ABOVE] who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times that was sown!"

Revelation 17:14 They will make war against the **LAMB** but the **LAMB** will overcome them because He is **LORD** of lords and **KING** of kings and with Him will be His **CALLED** CHOSEN ** and **FAITHFUL** followers!! {Right after the Resurrection and Marriage Feast of the Lamb Jesus will mount a great white horse and his saints will follow Him on heavenly white horses as per Revelation 19:7-21}
**SALVATION IS 100% FREE WHILE ETERNAL HEAVENLY REWARDS ARE 100% EARNED**!!
**SALVATION IS 100% FREE**
Titus 3:3,4: At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and **LOVE** of God our Savior appeared , He saved us, **NOT BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUS THINGS WE HAD DONE**, but because of **HIS MERCY**!!
John 1:12,13: To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, **NOR OF A HUMAN DECISION** or a husband's will but, **BORN OF GOD**!!
John 6:37,39,44,65: Jesus says, "**ALL** that the Father gives Me **WILL** come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will **NEVER** drive away... And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall **LOSE NONE** of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the Last Day.... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father who sent Me **DRAWS HIM**, and I will raise him up at the Last Day!!... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father has **ENABLED THEM**!!"
Ephesians 2:8,9: For it is by **GRACE** you have been saved, through **FAITH**—and this **NOT FROM YOURSELVES**, it is the **GIFT OF GOD**—not by works. So that no one can boast. For we are **GOD'S WORKMANSHIP**, created in Christ Jesus to do **GOOD WORKS**, which God prepared in advance for us to do!
Romans 12:3: For by the **GRACE GIVEN ME** I say to every one of you. Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourselves with sober judgment, in accordance with the **FAITH GOD HAS DISTRIBUTED TO EACH OF YOU**... We have different gifts, according to the **GRACE GIVEN TO EACH OF US**!!
Romans 9:15,16,18: God says, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God's mercy...Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden. {But God's saints still preach God's Word to everyone}

Ephesians 1:4-8; 11,12: In love He **PREDESTINED** us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will--to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves, In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding... In Him we were also **CHOSEN**, having been **PREDESTINED** in accordance to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity to the purpose of His will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be to the **PRAISE OF HIS GLORY**!!
I Thessalonians 1:4: For we know, brothers loved by God, that He has **CHOSEN YOU**, because our Gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction!
I Peter 2:9: But you are a **CHOSEN PEOPLE**, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you might declare the praise of Him who **CALLED YOU** out of darkness into His wonderful light!!
Revelation 17:14: They will make war against the **LAMB** but the **LAMB** will overcome them because He is **LORD** of lords and **KING** of kings and with Him will be His **CALLED** **CHOSEN** and **FAITHFUL** followers!! {Riding on white horses right after the Marriage Feast of the **LAMB** as per Revelation 19:7-20!}
Romans 6:23: The wages of sin is death, but the **GIFT OF GOD** is **ETERNAL LIFE**!
God's Word clearly teaches that faith, salvation, the Holy Spirit and eternal life are all 100 percent **FREE GIFTS OF GOD** and that the two main incentives for doing good works is being thankful to God for these amazing **FREE GIFTS** and to **EARN HEAVENLY ETERNAL REWARDS** which God has promised His chosen saints for faithful and loving service. Whereas those who believe in **SINLESS PERFECTION** believe that we have to earn our salvation and eternal life by doing **GOOD WORKS** and being **SINLESS** and that the only eternal reward is gaining eternal life by what we do; and if we commit even one small sin after we are saved we will loose our salvation and eternal life. And so man and not God becomes the Author and Finisher of our salvation.
**BUT WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD SAY**??
**AND SO SALVATION IS 100 PERCENT **FREE** but **ETERNAL REWARDS** are 100 percent **EARNED**!!
Ephesians 6:8: Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will **REWARD** everyone for what ever good he does!

Luke 14:13,14: Jesus says, "When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be **BLESSED**. Although they cannot repay you you will be **REPAID AT THE RESURRECTION** of the righteous!"
2 Corinthians 5:9,10: We make it our goal to please Him... for we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
1 Corinthians 3:13-15: His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his **REWARD**. If it is burned up he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.
How to Win Heavenly CROWNS:
I Corinthians 9:24-27: Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes in to strict training. They do it to get a **CROWN** that will not last; but we do it to get a **CROWN THAT WILL LAST FOREVER**! Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize!
2 John 1:8: Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be **REWARDED** fully!.
Revelation 3:11: Jesus says, “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your **CROWN**!”
2 Timothy 4:7,8: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the **CROWN** of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me **ON THAT DAY**—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing!
The **CROWN** of Life for those who persevere under trials and persecution:
James 1:12: Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the **CROWN OF LIFE** that God has promised to those who love Him!
Revelation 2:10 Jesus says, “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer... Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the **CROWN OF LIFE**!”
Matthew 5:11,12: Jesus says, “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your **REWARD IN HEAVEN**!”
Luke6:22,23: Jesus says, "Blessed are you when people hate you, when they reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and **JUMP FOR JOY**, because great is your **REWARD IN HEAVEN**!"
! Daniel 12:3: Those who impart wisdom will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars for ever and ever!!
Matthew 19:29: Jesus says, "Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children **FOR MY SAKE** will receive a **HUNDRED TIMES AS MUCH** and will inherit eternal life!!"
I have posted large sections of Scripture on this site for some time, as i post the context, not just a verse here and there.
Dave, i understand the context, i am not a calvanist.
When did the NEW COVENANT begin, did it begin with the birth of the little baby Yashua, OR did it begin with His crucifixion.

Christ’s Perfect Sacrifice
(Psalm 40:1-17)
1 For the law is only a shadow of the good things to come, not the realities themselves. It can never, by the same sacrifices offered year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.
2 If it could, would not the offerings have ceased? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt the guilt of their sins.
3 Instead, those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins, 4 because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, He said:
“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You prepared for Me.
6 In burnt offerings and sin offerings You took no delight.
7 Then I said, ‘Here I am, it is written about Me in the scroll:I have come to do Your will, O God.’”
8 In the passage above He says, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire, nor did You delight in them” (although they are offered according to the law).
9 Then He adds, “Here I am, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first to establish the second.
10 And by that will, we have been sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 Day after day every priest stands to minister and to offer again and again the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
12 But when this Priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God. 13 Since that time, He waits for His enemies to be made a footstool for His feet,
14 because by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified.
15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First He says:
16 “This is the covenant I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord.I will put My laws in their hearts
and inscribe them on their minds.”
17 Then He adds:“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.”
18 And where these have been forgiven, an offering for sin is no longer needed.
From my understanding there is one name under heaven of which mankind can be saved when you believe. Then the Holy Spirit comes and you have a comforter and helper that is manifest by a changed life, one that bears fruit and chases after heavenly things, storing up eternal treasures there instead of the temporary. What does easy believism look like >>> to me.<<<....? A carnal Christian. I know a few people who say they believe but also look back on their past sins with fondness or with justification. even demons believe in Yashua and tremble. Who was it in the bible who said "God have mercy on me a sinner "and beat his chest and couldnt look up to heaven.? ... Does great faith cause godly sorrow?
I often wonder if the people posting on CDFF just get a kick out of using every ancient name under the sun instead of Jesus. I feel that those people are Old Testament believers and do not have any clear understanding of how salvation is obtained. I do know that a real Christian does not use old Hebrew and Greek names -- we use the name of Jesus and follow the teaching He provided to his apostles.
The OLD Covenant name(s) of YHWH have been revealed in Yahshua, let's see what Messiah has to say about this.
John 17, THE LORDS PRAYER, verses 6 - 12
6 "I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.
7 "Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You;
8 for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received [them] and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me.
9 "I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours; 10 and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them.
11 "I am no longer in the world; and [yet] they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, [the name] which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We [are].
12 "While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.
Gator, within these 6 verses Messiah uses the term ' IN YOUR NAME ' while talking with the Father, Verses 6, 11 & 12.
Let us look at verse 12 which has a very interesting revelation about who Messiah is.
12 "While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me;
Notice Messiah says that He was WATCHING over the disciples ( Yehowah Raah, the shepherd of the sheep )
Now let's ask another question, Messiah says that He was keeping them in the name of the Father, is that name Jesus of course not; the letter 'J' is not in the Hebrew or Greek manuscripts, but the name Yahowah is.
Psalm 23
The LORD, the Psalmist’s Shepherd.
A Psalm of David.
1 The LORD( Yahowah) is my shepherd( Raah), I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.
3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and loving kindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Praise GOD Almighty for the names of Yahowah having been revealed in Messiah.
Jesus in English is Yeshua or Joshua in Hebrew and means **GOD IS HELP**!! Joshua in Hebrew is phonetically pronounced "YESHUA" since the "J" in Hebrew is pronounced "YEH". “Christ” comes from the Greek word "Christos", meaning “Anointed One” or “Chosen One.” This is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew word Masheach, or “Messiah.” Jesus the Messiah in Hebrew is pronounced **YESHUA HA MASHEACH**
Matthew 1:21-23: The angel of the Lord said, " She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name **JESUS** {Which means **GOD IS HELP**}, because He will save His people from their sins." All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said {In Isaiah 7:14 below} through the prophet: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son and they will all Him **IMMANUEL** which means **GOD WITH US**!"
Luke 2:9,10: An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them. The angel said, "I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a **SAVIOR** has been born to you; He is the **MESSIAH**, the **LORD**!"
Isaiah 7:14: "The Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and will call Him **IMMANUEL!" {Which means **GOD WITH US**! quoted in Matthew 1:23 above}
Isaiah 9:6: For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called **WONDERFUL COUNSELOR** and **MIGHTY GOD**!
Titus 2:13,14: We wait for the **BLESSED HOPE**--the glorious appearing of our **GREAT GOD** AND **SAVIOR**, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are **HIS VERY OWN**, eager to do what is good!!
**JESUS CHRIST** is also called **THE LAMB OF GOD** **THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE** **THE GOOD SHEPHERD** **JUDGE** **LORD OF LORDS** **HEAD OF THE CHURCH** **MASTER** **FAITHFUL AND TRUE WITNESS** **THE ROCK** **HIGH PRIEST** **THE DOOR** **LIVING WATER** **BREAD OF LIFE** **ROSE OF SHARON** **ALPHA AND OMEGA** **THE BEGINNING AND THE END** THE TRUE VINE** **TEACHER** **PROPHET** **ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD** **HOLY ONE** **ONLY MEDIATOR** **LIGHT OF THE WORLD** **IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD** **THE WORD** **CHIEF CORNERSTONE** **SAVIOR** **AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH** **THE ALMIGHTY** **KING OF KINGS** **PRINCE OF PEACE** **SON OF MAN** **REDEEMER** **BRIGHT MORNING STAR** **THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE**!!
{*29*}**IS GIVING **PRAISE** AND **GLORY** TO GOD THE FATHER AND OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE NEW COVENANT**??
**WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD SAY**??
Luke 2:20: The shepherds returned, **GLORIFYING* and **PRAISING GOD** for all the things they had heard and seen!

I Corinthians 10:31: So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, **DO IT **ALL** FOR THE **GLORY** OF GOD**!!
2 Corinthians 3:9-11,18: If the ministry that brought condemnation was **GLORIOUS**, how much more **GLORIOUS** is the ministry that brings righteoousness!! For what was **GLORIOUS** has no glory now in comparison with the **SURPASSING GLORY**! And if what is transitory came with **GLORY** how much greater is the the **GLORY OF THAT WHICH LASTS**!... And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the **LORD'S GLORY**, are being transformed into His image with **EVER INCREASING GLORY**, which comes from the Lord!
2 Corinthians 4:15-18: All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause **THANKSGIVING** to overflow to the **GLORY OF GOD**! Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an **ETERNAL GLORY** that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is tempoary, but on what is **UNSEEN IS **ETERNAL**!
Ephesians 1:12-14: In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the **PRAISE OF HIS GLORY**!! And you were also included in Christ when you heard the message of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation. When you believed you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the **PRAISE OF HIS GLORY**!!
Philippians 1:9-11: And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth an insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameness for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the **GLORY AND PRAISE OF GOD**!!
2 Corinthians 11:31: Through Jesus, therefore, let us **CONTINUALLY** offer to God a sacrifice of **PRAISE**--the fruit of lips that openly profess His name!!
I Peter 4:10,11: Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks they should do so as one who speaks the very Words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things **GOD MAY BE PRAISED** through Jesus Christ. To Him be the **GLORY** and power for ever and ever!! Amen.
Philippians 2:9-11: Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the **GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER**! {This will happen on the Last Day!}
2 Peter 3:18: But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be **GLORY BOTH NOW AND FOREVER**! Amen!

Revelation 5:9,10,12,13: "You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because You were slain, and with Your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. ... "Worthy is the **LAMB**, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and **GLORY AND PRAISE**! To Him who sits on the throne and to the **LAMB** be **PRAISE** and honor and **GLORY** and power for ever and ever!!"
