Apostle Paul or Impostor Paul? In light of the words of YHSHUA in Revelation 2 about a false apostle and congratulating the church who figured that out ... Paul called himself an Apostle and seemingly taught a different gospel.. Yes, I agree there is ample evidence to consider Paul a false apostle, however we do not have enough evidence for a conviction. But we do have enough evidence that some forms of Christianity distorted his letters into a "different gospel" than Jesus preached.
I do agree many go to far in believing every word in Paul's letters are the very words from the lips of God. These kind of people tend to have a very cultish mentality. Paul's writings on theology is Jewish Midrash, not new Commandments from G-d.

John 12:48: Jesus says, There is a Judge for the one who does not accept My Words {Like Acts 26:16-18 above}; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the Last Day!!"
Does the Bible give us a clue that Paul was, in fact, a false apostle?
Consider the following points.
Point 1. Paul writes to the church of Ephesus, located in Biblical Asia, and presents himself as an apostle of YHSHUA.
"Paul, an apostle of YHSHUA MESSIAH by the will of YHWH, To YHWH’s holy people in Ephesus, the faithful in YHSHUA . (Ephesians 1:1)"
Point 2. Paul later laments that he was deserted by all of Biblical Asia.
"You know that everyone in the province of Asia has deserted me (2Timothy 1:15)"
Point 3. The second and third chapters of the book of Revelation are addressed to 7 churches in Biblical Asia. While they are rebuked for many sins, they are not questioned for abandoning Paul.
Now, if Paul was a true apostle, and if the churches of Asia made a mistake by deserting Paul, then why were they not rebuked for rejecting Paul? Wouldn't they have received at least some rebuke for rejecting Paul?
Point 4. In Revelation 2, the church of Ephesus, to whom Paul claimed to be an apostle, is commended for testing and rejecting false apostles.
We read in Revelation 2, verse 2, “I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false..."
So. If Paul presented himself as an apostle to Ephesus and was rejected. And if Ephesus is commended in Revelation for rejecting false apostles, what does that make Paul?
If we put one and one together, it makes Paul a false apostle. The Bible is telling us that Paul was a liar. Paul was a deceiver who claimed to be an apostle to spread his own gospel.

Matthew 7:15; Jesus says, "Watch out for **FALSE PROPHETS**. They come in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are **FEROICIOUS WOLVES**!.
2 Corinthians 11:12-15: For such people are **FALSE APOSTLES**, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve!
I John 4:1,4-6: Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God because many **FALSE PROPHETS**have gone out into the world!... You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world and therefore **SPEAK FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF THE WORLD**, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood!
2 Peter 2:1-3: But there were **FALSE PROPHETS** among the people, just as there will be **FALSE TEACHERS** among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will **BRING THE WAY OF TRUTH INTO DISREPUTE**. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories, Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping!
2 Timothy 3:1-5: But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--**HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS BUT DENYING ITS POWER**.

Titus 1:9: An elder must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by **SOUND DOCTRINE** and **REFUTE THOSE WHO OPPOSE IT!!
2 Timothy 3:16,17; 4:1-4: **ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD-BREATHED** and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His Kingdom, I give you this charge: **PREACH THE WORD** {**WHICH IS THE ENTIRE NEW COVENANT**} Be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people {Like **KHUTZPAH**} will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths!

2 Peter 3:15,16: Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our **DEAR BROTHER PAUL** also wrote you with the **WISDOM THAT GOD GAVE TO HIM** He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters.
