I ask this question as i saw no outrage by the christians when Obama passed his homosexual biil a few years ago.
Still i see no outrage among the christians today; have the christians accepted homosexuality as GOD Almighty's way of life.
One reason i believe there is no outrage, the 501C3 tax exempt status the christians love, which is a violation of the Will of GOD Almighty.
When Messiah was asked about paying taxes did He not pay tax.
What was Messiahs word to His people, Render to Caesar what is Ceasars, render to GOD Almighty what is His.
If the so called churches were to protest the Homosexual bill, they might lose their tax exempt status, they may be required to pay back the tax monies they owed from the time they had taken the 501C3, until the present day.
Ceasar could also have them close their doors, since the churches are under the governments authority by way of the 501C3 tax exempt status, thus churches have become State sponsered-controlled corporations.

Would not Chuckk also tell us that "the letter killeth" NOT the act of homosexuality and that we should rely upon our self "spirit" to decide if it is wrong or not to be homosexual??? I mean after all the Bible Chuckk says "draws some very strange conclusions" as to what is roight and wrong, so we should accept out of love our homosexual friends! Right? We should not trust in our Bibles according to chuckk, so where are you getting this information that homosexuality is wrong and we as Christains need to do something about it bubba?????????????????

The OP is really two Topics: 1) Homosexuality 2) State Churches.
1) God has given people the freedom to be homosexual. God has given people the freedom to sin. God has given us the freedom to follow or ignore His instructions. God has given us the freedom to choose or reject Him. Each one will be held to account for how they exercised the freedom God gave them.
2) State Churches is a two sided issue. A Church is free not to be tax exempt, no one is forcing them. On the other hand, I wouldn't want a religious system running all the Churches either, for example like the Roman Catholic Church once did.
(Note to Parehtban: It seems from your comment that your difficulty with me is in believing a modern person can personally hear God talk to them. The difference between you and I is, I follow God and use the Bible as a check and balance helping to confirm I'm hearing correctly. Scripture tells us, this is what the Prophets did, even violating Scripture at times. You on the other hand slavishly follow Scripture or more precisely, your interpretation of Scripture. God is more like an afterthought.)

@Quiznos, I agree Churches have found themselves having to make a choice in today's society between the love of money and preaching righteousness.
However, to play the devils advocate, I sometimes wonder, since homosexuality has become so socially acceptable, should the Church consider changing its tactics. For example, sly as foxes and innocent as doves? Burning homosexuals at the stake is no longer the best practice to manifest the love of God to the world, but neither is letting the world define righteousness.
You just defined righteousness in your self righteous perverted mind and it certainly is not found in the Bible according to you is it!!!
