New Year's Day, also called simply New Year, is observed on January 1, the first day of the year on the modern Gregorian calendar as well as the Julian calendar. In pre-Christian Rome under the Julian calendar, the day was dedicated to Janus, god of gateways and beginnings, for whom January is also named.
New Year's is one of the oldest and most universal of all pagan TRADITIONS! The custom of celebrating it has remained essentially unchanged for 4,000 years!
It was Julius Caesar, Emperor of pagan Rome, who instituted the New Year's festival on **JANUARY FIRST**. In 46 B. C., Caesar adopted the Julian calendar. He transferred to the **FIRST OF JANUARY** ALL of the licentious customs surrounding the Roman Saturnalia!
Christ has been not only almost forgotten at Christmas time, but is not so much as toasted and is not even mentioned in the partying of New Year's Eve!
That is how it began. The celebration of New Year's began in ancient Babylonia in Mesopotamia. It was a pagan custom of ancient sun-worship 2000 years before the birth of Jesus.
The celebration of New Year's is never once commanded in the Bible. Jesus and the apostles never observed it. Moses forbade it!
Today, New Year's Eve has become a time for people to wallow in excesses of liquor! The modern attitude seems to be, "Have a wild time on New Year's Eve, and turn over a new leaf on New Year's Day!"
New Year's resolutions are empty and meaningless, usually trifling matters of jest! Few people make a lasting change. And **OATHS** and **RESOLUTIONS** are forbidden in the New Covenant in James 5:12 and Matthew 5:33-37!!
Most people seem to have convinced themselves that God is out of the picture for good on New Year's Eve and that God is not concerned with their modern revelings, drunken parties, and promiscuous behavior!
Pope Gregory re-instituted the ancient pagan Roman date of **JANUARY FIRST**. He imposed it on the whole Western world in 1582 when his Gregorian calendar "reforms" were accepted. All Roman Catholic countries accepted this change AT ONCE! Sweden, Germany, Denmark and England, the strongholds of Druid customs, finally acquiesced to Rome in the 1700's!
Revelation 18:1-5: I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authoriity, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. With a mighty voice he shouted: "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great {Rome}. She has become a dwelling place for demons and a habitat for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal. Numbers 28:16: The Lord says, “On the **14TH DAY** of the **FIRST MONTH** the Lord’s Passover is to be held.” Exodus 12:6,7,12,13: The Lord says, “Take care of them {The Passover Lambs} until the 14th day of the month when all the people of Israel must slaughter them {See Lev 23:5} at Twilight {Just after sundown to nightfall on Passover Day! 1 Cor 5:7: “For Christ our *PASSOVER LAMB* has been sacrificed.” Whereas the Jews {who were following the evil Babylonian moon calendar} held their Passover on the 15th of Nisan {Which always occurs on the night of a full moon} and observed the Passover on the **WRONG DAY** as per John 18:28: “Then the Jews led Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman Governor {Pilate}. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness the Jews did not enter the palace; for they wanted to be able to eat the PASSOVER!!” Which would have been the day “AFTER” Jesus correctly held the Passover on the 14th of ABIB {*THE FIRST BIBLE MONTH*} which God had commanded.
So we can assume that **GOD'S FIRST MONTH OF ABIB** is different from the Babylonian moon month of Nisan and therefore has nothing to do with the moon and that **JANUARY FIRST** is only the first Day of Satan's New Year!!
When does the **FIRST MONTH** of the Bible Year called ABIB begin?? Many Bible scholars believe that it always begins of the first day of SPRING or sundown March 20th to sundown March 21st for ABIB is the Hebrew word for SPRING!!! And so the 14th {*7+7*} Day of ABIB can also be translated the 14th {*7+7*} day of SPRING!! And therefore **PASSOVER DAY** when Jesus became our **PASSOVER LAMB** is always the 14th day of **GOD'S FIRST BIBLE MONTH OF ABIB** and is always from sundown, April 2nd to sundown, April 3rd **EACH AND EVERY YEAR!!
I Corinthians 5:7,8: Christ, our **PASSOVER LAMB**, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of **SINCERITY AND TRUTH**!

This complete idiot wants to pretend to be a teacher. He wants to teach about the Jewish calendar and knows nothing of precession?
Don't listen to this false teacher.
Look up precession and see Passover is always the first full moon after spring determined by the greening of the barely. PASSOVER IS NOT ON THE SAME DAY EVERY YEAR!
If any doubt me, all you have to do is look up what day Passover is on a Jewish calendar to see it falls on different days each year.
