The Bible is clear from cover to cover, evil spirits are identified by their actions. Demons are not identified by what they say. Even Satan used Scripture to tempt Jesus. Jesus latter said Satan was the father of lies. The easiest way is to watch what they do. If they are NOT loving, compassionate, kind, respectful, patient and putting the teachings of Jesus and the Father first, even though they quote Scripture, you can bet your dealing with a demon of religiosity. We have one here on this forum posting out of control on every single thread, EVEN when asked to stop by the Orginal Poster. I don't even have to mention his name, the evidence is abundant and convincing. Yes, there is a demon walking among us uncontrollably attacking every thread. See for yourself, watch here, he won't be able to control himself.
Another trait of these critters is their misuse of Paul's writings. They have a special affinity to twist what Paul says and make it the ultimate truth superseding the Words God gave through Moses and Jesus. Instead of understanding Paul in the context of Moses and Jesus, Paul is made into their new God and their misunderstandings of Paul's words supersede all.
Remember; there is one teacher and one Messiah and it isn't Paul.
It is interesting to note that we have had 4 attackers of the Pauline Epistles in the last 6 months:

What scripture are you suggesting says you go on a demon hunting quest and go bother them? I know scriptures that say the opposite. If you're uncertain what I know, then ask, as I am happy to share. We don't learn by arguing, but rather examining.

I have no patience for people who put my words in my mouth. Therefore you can look up your own pearls.
I'll give you a hint:
Did Jesus look for the demonic or did it approach him from the tombs? Did Paul look for the slave girl or did she follow him around? Did I come here to find prophetic or does he follow me around on every thread?
I try to be honest. Perhaps I misunderstood you. I'm actually more interested in discussion really and not silly arguments.
I'm different sometimes and other times I make mistakes. Such is life. I'm not perfect and I don't expect anybody else to be.
What I really don't get is your feud. You say he has demons (or is a demon) I dunno. And he says you are "satanic." So what is the expected result? One of you is just going to fold during your arguments and decide the other is right? Not likely. Reality is we can all be influenced by demonic forces. Actually, you can consider it an honor at times because they're targeting for a reason. Often because you're a hindrance to them, so they are targeting you with any opening. Regardless, there are three options for dealing with them.
1, Cast out the demon if it is dwelling in someone.
2. Turn it over to God, so He can deal with it,
3. Ignore them and focus on doing what is right in the Lord's sight so they have no place.
To answer your questions.
- Yes, Jesus went to people and cast out demons so they could be free. He didn't argue with him though. He simply directed them and they had no choice but to obey.
- The girl was a human under influence. So yep, she was compelled to bother Paul. As soon as he commanded the evil spirit, it left that same hour. Is this how you are responding to prophetic? As a third party, it looks more like you are trying to hassle him than help him. But hey, I could be wrong. Just seems like you keep trying to call him out.
- Why is he following you around? If I'm going by my own experience with him, he doesn't go out of his way to bother me. Sometimes he shares things pertinent to conversation even. Other times, it's more of the same old stream of posting, at which point I just ignore until he says something contextually decipherable. If not, then it's time to just let it go until another time. If I started calling him demonic, I can't imagine those moments would ever exist that I could actually converse with him, despite them being rare.
