Why do you think people are so MEAN in this Section???

This Forum Section is titled "Biblical Questions and Discussion" ---------------------------------------------------------------
Let's take a look at what that means and what it is supposed to look like -----------------------------------------------------
First off: If everyone believes the exact same thing what would there be to Discuss? If everyone had the exact same knowledge, why would anyone ask a question? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As a "Christian" site, this should be a SAFE place to ask questions, explore new perspectives and share with each other what we believe about things. A SAFE place among believers finding out what others believe about Scripture, how they read it and what they think about God.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sure, there will be heated debate at times, but as professing Christians, it should always be tempered with mutual love and respect. -----------------------------------------------------------------
But in REALITY, what DO we have here? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One member having literally no respect or regard for the conversation of others calls everyone "Satanic" and maliciously disrupts the threads of others ON PURPOSE. This is not an isolated incident, it happens on EVERY single thread, over and over. Is this faith expressing itself in love?-------------------------------------------------------------------
There is another member who claims to be very knowledgeable about Scripture, but instead of sharing his views, he spends his time and energy denigrating ALL other members in constant and unceasing tirades. It seems a person couldn't agree with him even if they tried. Is this the attitude Scripture teaches we should have towards others?-----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is another member who espouses flat earth doctrine and Textus Receptus only. Shouldn't she be respected and given the right to believe how she wants? She has been kind enough to respectfully engage in these topics helping others understand why she believes as she does. However she is under constant malicious attacks by others. Is this right? Is this unconditional love? --------------------------------------------------------
There are a couple of women who occasionally visit and post. They generally espouse the doctrines of main stream Christianity. They have no interest in exploring Academic Biblical views, treating such views with suspicion. They get a bit annoyed when their main stream doctrine is logically challenged. This is to be expected. But why would they come to a Biblical Discussion Forum if they don't want to explore different perspectives of other Christians? -------------------------------------------------------
Watch, and you'll see it all happen again on this thread. One will instantly start posting walls of Scripture with no explanation. Another will personally attack my character. One will agree, but be instantly attacked by another and then buried by another with a wall of unexplained Scripture. While two look on with disgust, contemplating whether or not to post. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
There is no Love in this Section. If God is Love, then God isn't here either. Yet since these people claim to be "Christians" the question remains: Why are people so MEAN here?

In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I give you this charge: **PREACH THE WORD**!! {**WHICH IS THE ENTIRE NEW COVENANT AND NEW TESTAMENT**!!}

chuckles like Satan claims the above 4 Scriptures that God inspired Luke to write are lies, thus making God a liar. These are definitely unpardonable sins which will earn chuckles eternal torment in hell.

Hey, I like everybody and I actually value constructive criticism. If nobody ever challenged my ideas, my brain cells would probably never find it within themselves to seek out new conclusions. :)

John 12:48: Jesus says, "There is a Judge for the one who does not accept My words, the very words I have spoken {In Acts 9:15 & Acts 26:16-18 above}will condemn them at the Last Day!"

I do.
It is because at some point some have either come out of churches with bad doctrine and ended up out of the frying pan and back into the fire through the media whether it is books, tv, web, lectures , etc..
Once you are saved, you have satan's attention. He will try to find any weaknesses to lead you off the path of righteousness. HaShem is sovereign and will test you and will allow temptations from the devil. No one is immune and we are to be sober minded always and in the Word when these seasons come and be prepared.
I have people fresh out of seminary attacking me in private for being KJV only .,ahem, (textus receptus only in reality) They are taught apparently that it is cultish.
I have posted other versions of the bible on here , from William Tyndales 1526 edition, NIV, to NASB, etc. I seldom use the modern versions but if they are in agreement with the KJV-received text, then I will post it if it seems to be a translation that the person I am debating on the forum uses. Giving the verses to them in their own language so to speak so they can't discount the message since it comes from their own translation preference and not the KJV since it is considered what the "cult" people use , covet and make into an idol.
Wise as serpents and harmless as doves as the bible says. I do try and accommodate all here to some extent.
Some still have baggage from churches even if they don't attend them.
Some from family , friends and other peer groups . It is just how they were raised and hard to let go of that family identity. Example : Generations of "cradle catholics".
Some have too much pride and don't want to humble themselves so they will defend their doctrine instead of search for truth.
Some have a spiritual attachment and love to sow discord or lead people astray on purpose.
Some lead people astray and don't realize it just out of plain ignorance. Any of us can fall into this category.
Some want attention ..
Some have deep rooted sins OR they are not willing to allow HaShem to restore their minds with His Word and so run others down because they know they are weak inside and try and compensate by being bullies or having the "truth" and everybody is ananthema if they don't agree even when I share scripture to support my views. No, Chuckk, I am not speaking about you here just because I used the word anathema . It is just the perfect word to use because of the persons venom in his speech.
This person claims to want the truth wherever it leads but sadly when i share my views or even scripture , he won't look into it because I have a different view of end time eschatology. When he looked into it once he said a voice told him it was "Babylon"
To each their own here ...
The forum belongs to HaShem and it will help attract who is looking for truth and there are messengers here who will help point them in the right direction as there are many good Christians here despite our various views. Here a little, there a little. I have looked into a lot of different religions and my experience has always been to take the gems and discard the rest. The devil always mixes truth with a lie. The ultimate truth is in the WORD. .There is only one Teacher/Rabbi and HE can be trusted. Mankind can be a wicked lot.
