Modern Bibles do not exalt Christ Jesus!

The NASB is widely regarded as the most literally translated of 20th century bible translations. It is a revision of the ASV of 1901. of which The Amplified Bible (published by the Lockman Foundation) is based on the American Standard Version of that same year. This translation was a alternative of the RSV, itself a revision of the ASV. Still with me? What a brain twister. The Hebrew text used for this translation was the Kittel Biblia Herbraica and the dead sea scrolls. The ben Asher text was adopted by Kittel for his third edition of Biblia Hebraica in 1937. The Ben Asher uses the Leningrad Manuscript or codex. The codex was copied in Cairo from manuscripts written by Aaron ben Moses ben Asher. It has been claimed to be a product of the Asher scriptorium itself; however, there is no evidence that Asher ever saw it. In its vocalization system (vowel points and cantillation) it is considered by scholars to be the most faithful representative of ben Asher's tradition apart from the Aleppo Codex (edited by ben Asher himself). Its letter-text is not superb, however, and contradicts it's own masoretic apparatus in many hundreds of places. The Biblia Herbraica was consulted for the 1995 revision. For Greek, Eberhard Nestle's Novum Testamentum Graece was used. The 23rd edition of the 1971 original and the 26th in the 1995 revision. From Nestle Allands website: Nestle took the three leading scholarly editions of the Greek New Testament at that time by Tischendorf, Westcott/Hort and Weymouth as a basis. (After 1901 he replaced the latter with Bernhard Weiss 1894/1900 edition.) Where their textual decisions differed from each other Nestle chose for his own text the variant which was preferred by two of the editions included, while the variant of the third was put into the apparatus.

Rudolph Kittels Biblia Hebraica, the Greek text of Westcott and Hort, and the 23rd edition of the Nestle Greek New Testament as well as the best Hebrew and Greek lexicons available at the time.Cognate languages,Tischendorf. the Dead Sea Scrolls, and other Greek works were also consulted.as you can see it is a soupy mix. Note how prominently the ESV acknowledges this text in its introduction:

The ESV is based on the Masoretic text of the Hebrew Bible as found in Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (2nd ed., 1983), and on the Greek text in the 1993 editions of the Greek New Testament (4th corrected ed.), published by the United Bible Societies (UBS), and Novum Testamentum Graece (27th ed.), edited by Nestle and Aland. The currently renewed respect among Old Testament scholars for the Masoretic text is reflected in the ESV’s attempt, wherever possible, to translate difficult Hebrew passages as they stand in the Masoretic text rather than resorting to emendations or to finding an alternative reading in the ancient versions. In exceptional, difficult cases, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Septuagint, the Samaritan Pentateuch, the Syriac Peshitta, the Latin Vulgate, and other sources were consulted to shed possible light on the text, or, if necessary, to support a divergence from the Masoretic text.

Who are Westcott and Hort? After their deaths , their Sons published their personal letters which are still available on Amazon. They were evolutionists, did not believe Jesus was equal with God, they believed that man is divine, no bodily resurrection of Jesus, Heaven was just a state and not a place, that scripture is not inspired and therefore not infallable just to name a few.

It is no surprise that although both men were liberal anglican bishops, they hid their secret unitarian views because only members of the church of England could be college professors or hold a government job. This was revealed with the publication of their private letters. As we proceed you will notice that the modern bibles do not exalt the Lord Jesus Christ.

The KJV onlyism movement just points out the corruption of the modern bibles , they are not responsible for people's unbelief, this is due to the corrupt translations. Even some textual critics themselves have lost their faith, like Bart Ehrman who now writes books about the bible in an effort to make other people become agnostic like him. What about Kittel? Rudolph Kittel's son Gerhard was a theologian to Hitler. Gerhard Kittel, eliminated mention of the special role of the Jewish people. To update it he oversaw changes to words such as “Messiah” and “hallelujah”, and renamed “Jerusalem” as the ‘eternal city of God’. ‘Honour your Fuhrer and master’ and ‘keep your blood pure and your honour holy’ were added to the 10 commandments.

Importantly, during the 1930s both Kittels are said to have hailed Hitler’s rise to power as “a blessing from God”. Both became highly influential in intellectual circles in Germany. In fact, the younger Kittel became Hitler’s “high priest” of religious propaganda, providing the “theological basis” for resolving the “Jewish question”. Robert P. Ericksen, author of Theologians Under Hitler (New Haven, Yale University Press 1985 pp 45, 207, 86-88), who received the 1987 Merit of Distinction Award from the International Centre for Holocaust Studies for this work, wrote that Gerhard Kittel’s writings between 1937 and 1945 were highly instrumental in causing the death of millions of Jews in Germany and the territories it conquered in the Second World War. 'He established a solid ‘Christian’ foundation for opposition to the Jews’. Kittel also proclaimed himself “the first authority in Germany on the scientific consideration of the Jewish question”. Ericksen records: Kittel and a group of twelve leading theologians and pastors issued a proclamation that Nazism is ‘a call of God’ and they thanked Adolf Hitler

As we progress, you will see by a careful comparison of scriptures that there are some changes and omissions that should be considered as you weigh this matter of what bible to choose to use for study.

Luke 9:55 New American Standard Bible (NASB)55 But He turned and rebuked them, [[a]and said, “You do not know what kind of spirit you are of;Footnotes: Luke 9:55 Early mss do not contain bracketed portion.

Now for the AKJV

Luke 9:55 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

Ephesians 1:13 New American Standard Bible (NASB)13 In [a]Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also [b]believed, you were sealed in [c]Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,Footnotes:Ephesians 1:13 Lit whom Ephesians 1:13 Or believed in Him, you were sealed Ephesians 1:13 Lit whom

Ephesians 1:13 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)13 in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise

Colossians 1:14 Amplified Bible (AMP)14 in whom we have redemption [because of His sacrifice, resulting in] the forgiveness of our sins [and the cancellation of sins’ penalty].

Colossians 1:14 New International Version (NIV)14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.AKJV got it right~

Colossians 1:14 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)14 in whom we have redemption >>>through his blood<<<<<, even the forgiveness of sins:

1 Corinthians 1:18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)The Wisdom of God18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who [a]are perishing, but to us who [b]are being saved it is the power of God.1 Corinthians 1:18 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)Christ the Power and Wisdom of God18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but it is the power of God to us who are being saved.

What does my Geneva and AKJV and Tyndale bible say?? Let's see...1 Corinthians 1:18 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)18 For that [a]preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness: but unto us, which >>>are saved<<<, it is the [b]power of God.Footnotes:1 Corinthians 1:18 The preaching of Christ crucified, or the kinds of speech which we use.1 Corinthians 1:18 It is that wherein he declareth his marvelous power in >>>saving his elect<<<, which would not so evidently appear, if it hanged upon any help of man: for so man might attribute that to himself, >>>which is proper only to the cross of Christ.<<<

1 Corinthians 1:18 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which>>> are saved <<<it is the power of God.

Tyndale 1534 translation:For Christ sent me not to baptyse but to preache ye gospell not with wysdome of wordes lest the crosse of Christ shuld have bene made of none effecte. For ye preachinge of the crosse is to them yt perisshe folishnes: but vnto vs which >>>are saved<<< it is ye power of God.For it is written: I will destroye the wysdome of the wyse and will cast awaye the vnderstondinge of the prudet.

Paul is speaking here:2 Corinthians 2:15 New International Version (NIV)15 For >>we<< are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who >>are being saved<<< and those who are perishing.

So was Paul saved or not? What about justification? Seems there are only 2 camps not 3. The saved or unsaved. Not being saved people.

Acts 2:30 New International Version (NIV)30 But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place >>>one of his descendants<<< on his throne.

AKJV 1611:Therefore being a Prophet, and knowing that God had sworne with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loines, according to the flesh, hee would >>>raise vp Christ<<<, to sit on his throne:

-- CATHOLIC BIBLE VERSE :Acts 2:30 New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)30 Since he was a prophet, he knew that God had sworn with an oath to him that he would put one of >>>his descendants<<<< on his throne.

Acts 2:30 New Century Version (NCV)30 He was a prophet and knew God had promised him that he would make>>> a person from David’s family a king<<<< just as he was.[a] Well, hey that could be you Little David!!! Or Parrot or GSNW or Teddyhug!!! No mention of Christ though..hmmmm.

1 Timothy 3:16 New Century Version (NCV)16 Without doubt, the secret of our life of worship is great:He[a] was shown to us in a human body,

proved right in spirit,

and seen by angels.

He was proclaimed to the nations,

believed in by the world,

and taken up in glory.1 Timothy 3:16 New American Standard Bible (NASB)16 By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness:He who was revealed in the flesh,

Was [a]vindicated [b]in the Spirit,

Seen by angels,

Proclaimed among the nations,

Believed on in the world,

Taken up in glory.

1 Timothy 3:16 New International Version (NIV)16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great:He appeared in the flesh,

was vindicated by the Spirit,[a]

was seen by angels,

was preached among the nations,

was believed on in the world,

was taken up in glory.

Glory round bean bags, I appeared in a body too!

1 Timothy 3:16 American Standard Version (ASV)16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness;[a]He who was manifested in the flesh,

Justified in the spirit,

Seen of angels,

Preached among the [b]nations,

Believed on in the world,

Received up in glory.Footnotes:1 Timothy 3:16 >>>>The word God, in place of He who, rests on no sufficient ancient evidence.<<<< Some ancient authorities read which.1 Timothy 3:16 Or, Gentiles.

Now for the AKJV: 1 Timothy 3:16 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.Oh! now I understand! GOD was manifest in the flesh!!! Revelation 1:8 has in my AKJV: Revelation 1:8 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)8 I am Alpha and Omega,>>> the beginning and the ending,<<<< saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Some modern translations omit words. Can you guess which ones?Let's check Revelation 1:11,21:6,22:13 also .NASB: Rev. 1:8“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Where is the first and the last ???? Revelation 21:6 Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.

Revelation 22:13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Ummm. where is Rev. 1:11 in the NASB about Alpha and Omega???

Revelation 1:11 New American Standard Bible (NASB)11 saying, “Write in a [a]book what you see, and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”

Deuteronomy 4:2 New International Version (NIV)2 Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.Revelation 22:18-19 New American Standard Bible (NASB)18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and [a]from the holy city, which are written in this book.

Revelation 22:18-19 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 and>>>> if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life<<<<, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Let me ask you...As you just heard the Words of Christ Jesus, Lord and Savior just spoken, would you in all good conscience pick up such a book to read ? .A book translated by persons over the centuries that omits and takes away, essentially stealing from a Holy God? Seems that satan likes to steal also. He stole worship and was kicked out of heaven. Would you continue to read a book, that Christ says to use in communion with Him for daily spiritual FOOD and apply ,knowing that it is not complete? How intimate are the Words of the Lord Christ Jesus! What spirit is attached to your bible?

Ridiculous quote by KJVonly:

"The one true God has **ONE TRUE BOOK** {KJVonly}

There are certainly some errors in all of the translations of God's Word in the Koine Greek which is inspired by God. By far the worst example is: After Mark 16:8 all of the major translations **EXCEPT THE KING JAMES VERSION** have a footnote which reads: "The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20."

And Mark 16:16-18: Wrongly states: "Whoever believes and is **BAPTIZED WILL BE SAVED** .... And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands, and they will **DRINK DEADLY POISON, it will not hurt them at all; they will **PLACE THEIR HANDS** on sick people, and they will get well??"

By comparing other Scripture with these mistakes we know that Baptismal Regeneration is wrong and even in the early church not every saint spoke in other languages. and there is not one other Scripture that tells us to **DRINK DEADLY POISON** and to **PICK UP SNAKES** some of which are deadly. There is also a Scripture which contradicts **PLACING HANDS ON SICK PEOPLE WILL MAKE THEM WELL** in James 5:14,15!

Of course those denominations which believe in Baptismal Regeneration and many Charismatic churches believe these verses are the inspired words of God thus agreeing with the KJV version???

And so the KJV version is the only version that implies that the extremely Satanic Mark 16:16-18 are the inspired Words of God. The KJV version is also written in 16th Century English which is very hard for 20th Century Christians to understand.

The origin of the term **EASTER** for the feast of Christ’s Resurrection has been popularly considered to be from the Anglo-Saxon **EASTRE**, a goddess of spring and the evil Queen of Heaven. {Read Jeremiah 44:22-25 about the very evil **QUEEN OF HEAVEN**}

The KJV version is the only version that translates the Greek word **PASCHA** as **EASTER** in Acts 12:4 and all other major translations correctly translate the Greek word **PASCHA** as **PASSOVER**!! {Read Jeremiah 44::22-25!}

"The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20." Which the KJV version claims is the inspired Word of God???

The KJV defenders also quote Colossians 1:14 which includes the blood of Christ in the KJV version and in all the other major translations the blood of Christ is not mentioned in Colossians 1:14. However the KJV version includes many verses which are not used in the most ancient manuscripts and which are rightfully not accepted by all the other major translations. And the KJV had some very liberal Episcopal translators!

However, the blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sins is mentioned many times in the earliest Greek manuscripts in very easy to understand 20th Century English translations, such as:

Matthew 26:28: Jesus says, "This is **MY BLOOD** of the covenant, which is poured out for many **FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS**!"

Hebrews 9:12: He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by **HIS OWN BLOOD**, having obtained **ETERNAL REDEMPTION**!

Hebrews 9:22; 26-28: The law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with **BLOOD**, and without the shedding of **BLOOD** **THERE IS NO FORGIVENESS**.... But now He has appeared **ONCE FOR ALL** at the end of the ages to do away with sin **BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF**!! Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, and Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people, and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him!!

Ephesians 2:13: But now in Christ Jesus you who were once were far away have been brought near **THROUGH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST**!!

Romans 3:21-25: But now a righteousness from God, **APART FROM THE LAW**, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes **THROUGH FAITH** in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by **HIS GRACE** through the **REDEMPTION** that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Him as a **SACRIFICE OF ATONEMENT**, **THROUGH FAITH IN HIS BLOOD**!!

Colossians 1:15-20: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities, all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the **HEAD OF HIS BODY, THE CHURCH**; He is the beginning and the firstborn from the dead, so that is **EVERYTHING HE MIGHT HAVE THE SUPREMACY**. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things **ON EARTH** or things in heaven, by making peace **THROUGH HIS BLOOD**, shed on the cross!!

Ephesians 1:3-8; 11: Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with **EVERY** spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and **BLAMELESS** in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will--to the praise of His **GLORIOUS GRACE**, which He has freely given us in the One He loves. In Him we have **REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD**, **THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS**, in accordance the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding!!

I Peter 1:18,19: For you know that was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were **REDEEMED** from the empty way of life handed down to you by your forefathers, but with the **PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST**, Lamb without blemish or defect!!

Revelation 1:4,5: Grace and peace to you from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful Witness... To Him who loves us and freed us from our sins **BY HIS BLOOD**!!

NOTE: Jesus Christ our Savior is called the **LAMB** of God **30 TIMES** in the book of Revelation because He did away with all lamb sacrifices for sin by the sacrifice of Himself!!

Revelation 5:6,9: Then I saw a **LAMB**, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne...You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because You were slain, and **WITH YOUR BLOOD** You purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation!!

Revelation 12:11: They overcame him by the **BLOOD OF THE LAMB** and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death!!

Revelation 7:14: These are they who have come out of the Great Tribulation, they have was their robes and made them white in the **BLOOD OF THE LAMB**!!

Romans 5:6-10: You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless. Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us. Since we are now justified **BY HIS BLOOD**, how much more will we be saved from God's wrath through Him! When we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to Him **THROUGH THE DEATH OF HIS SON**!!

Parrot quote

"The one true God has **ONE TRUE BOOK** {KJVonly}

End quote

Let me expound .

There are many good bibles that came through the centuries >>>>culminating<<< with the AKJV. I have quoted Tyndale and the Geneva bible in my post. If I had a translation for the Great and Wycliffe bible, I would quote them also. I did find a website for the Matthews bible and I did find a complete Wycliffe translation in print on Amazon.

KJVonly: The KJV version has a page exalting King James and his inspiration from God. Even though **QUEEN** James had many gay lovers from age 14 until his death and had more gay lovers than all the rest of the English Kings combined.

I Corinthians 6:9-11: Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor **MEN WHO HAVE SEX WITH MEN** nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the Kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God!

KJVonly darling apparently has not read the early history of the very turbulent first 80 years of the brand new KJV.

That’s right! False suspicions, accusations and charges flew fiercely against the brand new KJV in its first 80 year run.

People back then had their favorite translation and they didn’t like it when a new translation came on the scene. {{sound familiar??}}

You see, KJV wording differed from words the old folks had grown accustomed to.

After all, the older translations were more “reliable” !

THEN, GIANT THUD is heard across the ecclesiastical landscape.

A new KJV Bible is born!!

But, they say, it’s not like the our old Bible!! It comes corrupted that KJV!!!

[[Yes, I’m dripping with sarcasm, but let me carry on.]]

You see, those evil KJV translators came along and upset everything!! Why, they even dared to appeal to more recent finds like the earlier Greek manuscripts instead of the later Latin.

Now, after several hundred years, all is calm and the KJV is suddenly “God’s Bible”!! Never mind it’s raucous history getting there

HISTORY REPEAT ALERT 🚨

HERE WE GO AGAIN

The devil 👿 is at it again making those new translations

Now newer translations have dared to displace the archaic KJV, (just like the once newer KJV displaced earlier translations) Now we hear those familiar howls of the distant past, the pitchfork and torch mob are on the prowl and attacking they come

Facts don’t matter.

How many people know and understand the word just doesn’t matter either.

Just attack!!

ATTACK just like the old folks attacked the KJV when it first came out in 1611

KJVonly slams Kittel for his early associations with Hitler but seems to avoid King James well known homosexual love escapades with young men.

KJVonly easily maneuvers about on the advantage of a 20/20 hindsight perspective gained from looking BACK on history.

But those who thought Hitler was a good guy in the beginning didn’t have that historical perspective written out for them. It seems bad leaders like to fool people, ya know. And sometimes ya just don’t know right off!

KJVonly also conveniently overlooks the association certain biblical characters had with bad kings and rulers.

So using KJV-only’s logic, we better just throw out all Bibles everywhere and just become atheists—I guess, because some Bible characters were being bad

But it seems these godly biblical characters might just have hoped to influence the leaders in a godly way. Perhaps Kittel was attempting the same thing.

Oh, wait, we mustn’t grant anyone the benefit of the doubt, especially if they had anything to do with an “evil” modern translation.

BUT WAIT A MINUTE!!

! WAAAAIT AAAA MINUTE!!

Didn’t Kittle promote the KJV ???!!!

Why, yes he did !!!

THAT DOES IT for the KJV, doesn’t it?

so using more of KJV-only’s bad logic, we must toss out all KJV’s! That’s right, better just heave that KJV and let it fly

Silly logic
