I have noticed some people embrace another Jesus and this Jesus is attached to false gospels.I used to go to "church" and rarely pick up my bible...until I quit "church" and started feeding off his Word. It is important that you study the scriptures and he will be revealed to you through his Word. Jesus wants a relationship , not a religion.
The truth is people would rather follow a set of rules and ask for forgiveness when they break a rule rather than actually work at having a relationship with God.
You can follow all the rules in a marriage but if you don't work on having relationship that marriage is doomed.

I asked him about the streets of gold and the gates of pearl, he didn't believe they were literal. Preterists also believe the present earth will never be destroyed and that God's Kingdom is only in this present earth????
