Yes, I'd totally eat there! Sounds like a place that recognizes we should all be one as Jesus taught. And not to divide over trivial differences but love each other. That a true relationship with God is much more valuable than head knowledge.

KJVonly quote:

"Oh that looks yummy! I have *ITCHING EARS*! Gimme that!"

I Timothy 3:16,17: All Scripture is **GOD-BREATHEED** and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead and in view of His appearing and His Kingdom, I give you this charege: **PREACH THE WORD**; be prepared in season in out of season, **CORRECT**, **REBUKE** and **ENCOURAGE**--with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their ***ITCHING EARS*** want to hear!!

I was pointing out facts because that is the state of attendance in "churches" today. Alot of it thanks to Joel Osteen and Oprah mainly. They have the most influence .

The Preterists like KJVonly believe that every prophecy in the Mount of Olives prophecies in Matthew 24 and 25, Mark 13 an Luke 21 and every prophecy in Revelation were totally completed in AD 70??? The Preterists also believe that that all the words in the New Testament are inspired by God.

Let us quote one of the prophecies in in Matthew 25 that could not have happened in ad 70!!

Matthew 25:31-34,41,46: Jesus prophesied, "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him, an He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. **THEN** the King will say to those on his right. Come, you are blessed by My Father ; take your inhreritance , the Kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world... "Then He will say to those on His left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared fror the Devil and his angels....**THEN** they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life!"

There are about 20 prophecies in the New Testament that absolutely could not have happened in AD 70 so apparently the Preterists are **FALSE PROPHETS OF SATAN**!!

Nope I was serious.

People with a real relationship with God are not followers of Joel Olsteen or Oprah.

The Church you described would be the perfect Church assuming they majored on the majors and minored on the minors.

Can you expound on what your concept of a good church would be then? You mentioned love? Isn't there more to it than that? I don't want to jump to conclusions and take you out of context. so I will await your response before posting further.

A Church that majored on the majors (teachings of Jesus) and minored on the minors (everything else).

I assume the minors would not be contrary to the teachings of Jesus then?

What about infant baptism...sprinkling..

Confirmations

or mandatory "church" attendance? no salvation outside the "Church"

Added feasts days unto Mary..or some other god or goddess.

There is an awful lot of Catholicism in denominations today. Even parrot's new age bible says to confess your sins to one another!
