Some False Teachers Claim Jesus is Not Co-Equal With God

False teachers often ignore the clear teaching of the Bible as a whole and selectively quote portions scripture that only “appear” to teach what the false teacher claims. Under attack is the co-equality of the Lord and God Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that Jesus is co-equal with the Father. Some false teachers replace biblically clear teaching with their own ill-conceived notions about Jesus as a little bit like God but certainly not God’s co-equal. But the following verses clearly show Jesus as co-equal with the other members of the Godhead.

The Roman Catholic Church was the first denomination to declare the God the Father and His Son Jesus are completely **CO-EQUAL** Little David agrees with the Roman Catholic Church and also claims the God the Father and His Son Jesus are completely **CO-EQUAL**!
Jesus is called **GOD** 7 times in God's Word and is called **LORD** over 200 times in the New Testament, and is **WORSHIPED** 12 times in the New Testament, and God's Word tells us to only **WORSHIP GOD** in Revelation 22:8,9 below!! While the holy spirit is never called **GOD** or **LORD** in God's Word and is **NEVER WORSHIPED** in God's Word!!
Question: Is Jesus who is God **CO-EQUAL** with God the Father??
**WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD SAY**??
John 14:28: Jesus says, "If you loved Me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the **FATHER IS GREATER THAN I**!"
John 10:27-30: Jesus says, "My sheep listen to My voice, I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, no one can snatch them out of My hand. **MY FATHER** WHO HAS GIVEN THEM TO ME, is **GREATER THAN ALL**!!
John 6:37,39,44,65: Jesus says, "**ALL** that the Father gives Me **WILL** come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will **NEVER** drive away... And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall **LOSE NONE** of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the Last Day.... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father who sent Me **DRAWS HIM**, and I will raise him up at the Last Day!!... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father has **ENABLED THEM**!!"
John 17:17: Jesus says to His Father, "Sanctify them by the truth **YOUR WORD** is Truth!!"
Deuteronomy 18:17-20: The Lord said to Moses, "I will raise up for them a Prophet from among their fellow Israelites, and **I WILL PUT MY WORDS IN HIS MOUTH**. He will tell them everything I command Him. I Myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to **MY WORDS** that the Prophet speaks in My Name!"
John 14:23-24: Jesus says, "Anyone who loves Me will obey My teaching. My Father will love them, and **WE** will come to them and make **OUR HOME** with them. Anyone who does not love Me will not obey My teaching. These words you hear are not My own; **THEY BELONG TO THE FATHER **WHO SENT ME**!"
Revelation 1:1: The Revelation from Jesus Christ, which ** GOD GAVE HIM**!
Jesus is the **HEAD** of God's Kingdom in the NT era until His 2nd Coming and **THEN** He will hand over His Kingdom to God the Father!
I Corinthians 15:23-24: For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in turn: Christ, the Firstfruits, then, when He comes, those who belong to Him. **THEN** He will hand over the {**ETERNAL**}Kingdom to God the Father!
There are 7 passages in the New Testament which state that we should **ONLY PRAY TO GOD THE FATHER**!! Such as:
Matthew 6:6-10: Jesus says, "When you pray, go into your room, close the door and **PRAY TO YOUR FATHER**, who is unseen. Then **YOUR FATHER**, who sees what is done in secret will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them for your **FATHER KNOWS** what you need before you ask Him! This then, is how you should pray: 'Our **FATHER** in heaven hallowed be your name, **YOUR {**ETERNAL**}KINGDOM** come, **YOUR WILL** be done, on earth as it is in heaven!'" Luke 11:4: adds; "**FORGIVE US OUR SINS**, for we forgive everyone who sins against us!"
John 14:28: Jesus says, "If you loved Me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the **FATHER IS GREATER THAN I!"

Richard thinks the Father is “greater” than Jesus based on Jesus’s temporary incarnation.
In fact, when Jesus became a man (that is, his incarnation) he was actually made “lower than the angels” per Hebrews 2:9 but only temporarily. Philippians 2:5-11 goes lower, Jesus “made himself nothing”.
What Richard doesn’t understand, Jesus was made lower only in status because he became a man. As a man he submitted himself to the Father. Everyone understands the roles of employer and employee. The employer is said to be “greater” simply because of his position or role, even though both employer and employee share the same human nature or essence.
Richard (“prophetic”) makes the mistake of confusing role for essence.

I’m sorry, correction here.
I shouldn’t have said:
Richard thinks the Father is “greater” than Jesus based on Jesus’s temporary incarnation. That’s correct view but Richard doesn’t hold to the correct interpretation of scripture.
Richard thinks Jesus is permanently less than the Father based on “John 14:28: Jesus says, "If you loved Me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the **FATHER IS GREATER THAN I**!"
Rather, Richard confuses a temporary role for Jesus co-equal essence.
So “prophetic” Richard, another question your bad theology can’t answer.
Since the verse l quoted from Hebrews teaches that Jesus is lower than the angels, does that mean the angels are also “greater” than Jesus ???

Wanna be prophet Richard,
yes the verses you keep quoting out of context speak to Jesus’s humiliation as a man. As a man, Jesus took on the role of a “servant”. He placed himself in submission to the Father.
You know these verses are at variance with the false teaching you cling to.
Am I right to assume your sect is telling you what to believe?
