For the sake of discussion I will be reluctantly using the term "God" even though it is a Germanic name for the pagan deity of good luck (Gud). Perhaps on another post I'll address the EL and the use of YHWH. I believe Jesus had it most correct as "Abba" (Father) even though it is not the predominantly used in the Old Testament. We have many odd things in the Bible that must be interpreted in certain ways to try to make sense out of them. To take what it says at face value brings a world view which at first seems in conflict with Biblical doctrine. This couldn't be further fro the truth. In fact it is the lie of the last two millennium. The misunderstanding starts with the word "Elohim". It's definition depends on context. It can mean God, God, mighty one or angel but generally means a spiritual being from heaven. The first couple verses of Psalm 82 (in Hebrew) clearly points to One supreme God and lower gods. In our Judeo Christian mindset we have become hyper-monotheistic, allowing no room for the existence of lessor gods. Yet when we read Scripture with the middle eastern mindset in which it was written, suddenly many things in our world and history begin to make sense. For example: The simple instruction in Exdous 20:3 to "Have no other gods before Me".

First off the Hebrew aleph bet does not contain any letter with a "J" sound. There is NO J in Hebrew. Second; Y'shua means; 'YHWH is salvation'. Thirdly; "mashiach" literally means; 'to smear with oil' (yes, as in anointing). Fourthly, Isaiah 7:14 does not say "virgin" it says "young woman".

@LittleDavid; I read it just fine. But to be fair to you; (giving you the benefit of the doubt) I went back and read it again. This is what it says; "since the "J" in Hebrew is....". I merely pointed out there is NO J in Hebrew. The Hebrew aleph bet has No J letter or any other letter equivalent to or making the J sound. You and prophetic sit here in this section as judges of all. Effectively driving away all others who might want to engage in discussion. I take a certain amount of satisfaction pointing out how your belief system you use to judge others is bulit on misinformation. However, I'd be happier if you came to know the truth.

Anyone reading these posts can see who the whiner is. I answered and quoted prophetic7744 perfectly. Don't blame me if you are refusing to read with comprehension. I even gave you the benefit of the doubt; going back over the material. I re-engaged the material and engaged your accusation with another answer of substance. Rather than admit your mistake, you don't further engage the subject at hand, instead throw a little tantrum by first accusing me of wrongdoing then quoting the whole paragraph which explains how to pronounce the Hebrew letter "J" which I have repeatedly shown to not exist. Good grief, what is wrong with you guys? Let me help you out a little; What you guys should be saying is how to pronounce the English letter "J" in the Hebrew and Aramaic languages.
