Contradictions found in the translations, but not found in the Greek Scriptures
Posted : 10 Nov, 2018 01:17 PM

Hello everyone;

Yes the truthseeker is at it one more time, making the people to THINK about what they believe.

Within the translations there are a few contradictions not found within the Greek manuscripts. During the process of translating from Greek into English many errors have occurred thus called Translation errors.

These errors are the result of differences in word meanings, phrases or sayings according to the language and culture of a particular people group.

Some errors are the result of personal prejudices by those interpreting the Word of GOD Almighty, some of these are either personal, financial or positional.

Here is one such verse of Scripture that is a contradiction in the English translations, BUT not in the Greek.

John 15 verses 1-2

1"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2"Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every [branch] that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.

Notice in verse 2 "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes AWAY, some translations have CUTS OFF.

Many people teaching on this teach that GOD Almighty will cut you off if your life does not bear fruit, hmmm.

When you cut something off does that not denote separation;

Does GOD Almighty actually separate from Messiah the branch that is in Him, IF so then that person cannot be saved.

The contradiction is revealed by the Word of GOD Almighty.

John 3 verses 14- 18

14"As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; 15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.

16"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And Romans 8 verses 1

1Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Since there is NO condemnation to those believing in Messiah, and being in Messiah, why then would GOD Almighty CUT anyone off.

The contradiction is the result of a single English word having been added to the translations, which is not in the Greek manuscripts; That English word is AWAY.

With the addition of the word AWAY, the Word has been changed from being one of encouragement / Grace, to one of judgement.

Those which teach that GOD Almighty cuts a person off actually are teaching FALSELY, thus misrepresenting the character of GOD Almighty.

Contradictions found in the translations, but not found in the Greek Scriptures

If we are in Christ and bear no fruit, we will be taken away. So much for grace and no works. When we bear fruit we are increased to bear more. The word cleaned us, because when briars and thorns are all around you, there is only choking, the thorns are the cares of this life, and people of this life trying to make you care the same thought for the next one too! We need to abide in Christ and Christ needs to be in us, without the Kingdom of Heaven within us where Christ is King, we cannot bear fruit, and when we have Christ in us we bear much fruit, that also is His grace and it is 100% the conditions as told, not invented or taken away from, neither do we bear fruit for ourselves, we grow this for the Lord..

John 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Does God separate from Himself the branch that is in Him? Is there condemnation for those who afe in Christ Jesus? Maybe this is a very good qestion to answer.

Now lets see the branches again. When a branch in Him does not bear fruit. Other branch in Him bears fruit.

These are believers who consider themselves as a branch in Christ. That is the first point and beginning of thought. They are not non hearers, they are hearers who try but fail.

The first consideration and case. The word goes away to the side, not central in their lives and satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. Consider as Christ is the vine and we branches in Him, who without Him can do nothing, and nothing is bearing no fruit. They have the word sown in them, as a branch in Him, but immidiately is not remembered and rejected.

The word is then sown for those who have stony round, or stony hearts, no ground to be able to bear fruit, springing up without righteousness, but they also believed enough to receive the word in belief of joy, and follow the word until persecution and then in offence drop what was sown in them and in their hearts. No depth of root, wither away when the heart is on and bear no fruit.

Then the word goes to the thorns, those again hearing the word but the thorns choke the word sown, and the end result is no fruit they bear.

Lastly is the good ground, yielding fruit, and increased(after dunging) bringing fruit, some thirty, some sixty, some hundred, but all bring forth fruit. They receive His word, to stay, the other received the word, but to go away again..

Mark 4:4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

Mark 4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Now knowing the message is for us to repent or perish. The Lord seeks fruit on us. What good is a tree that bars no fruit? We are that fig tree and when we bear no fruit, what is our outcome? Cut it down. The Lord also dungs it in case it may bring forth fruit. It is only well if it bears fruit. The Lord does not teach for vanity and self reasons as man does, He teaches us His judgements in righteousness and they are all the same, how can they be different, God is not double minded and unstable as man is. He teaches us to fear Him, and the prideful ones are without fear and without fruit. We are told plainly, cut off or taken away, it is very much established. What does not bear fruit is cut off and cut down. Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Luke 13:6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

The wicked are to be cut off, the meek need to be exalted, as they are humbled, keeping the righteous ways of the Lord in righteous belief causes us to inherit the land..

Psalm 37:34 Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

But if you boast instead of being meek, you have none of those roots. We stand by faith, not a highminded faith but a fearing one, take heed that God will cut off the branch that seems to be in Him,(you know them as they bear no fruit) the branches in Him are full of fruits, whatever anyone trues and tries to somehow desperately excuse, goodness if you continue in His goodness, otherwise? THOU SHALT BE CUT OFF, and truly, they were cut off AND taken away in SEVERITY, and it is the SAME SEVERITY for us too..James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Romans 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.

20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Hi Adam;

I hate to be the bearer of bad news BUT, you are wrong with your understanding of this section of the Word of GOD Almighty. You are not alone, most self professed pastors which teach ' judgement ' instead of Grace are also wrong, as well as those believing what these pastors teach.

I had posted the correct understanding BUT you reject the truth for the lie, so sad.

Adam, check the Greek before you give you Opinion.

Matthew 13:20-23: Jesus says, "The seed falling on the rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness

of wealth choke the word, making it **UNFRUITFUL**. But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hear the and understands it. this is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown!!"

And so those who are **CALLED** **CHOSEN and **FAITHFUL** produce **MUCH FRUIT**!! And those who are not **CALLED** CHOSEN** AND **FAITHFUL** will **FALL AWAY and **BE CUT OFF**!!

**SALVATION IS 100% FREE**

Titus 3:3,4: At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and **LOVE** of God our Savior appeared , He saved us, **NOT BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUS THINGS WE HAD DONE**, but because of **HIS MERCY**!!

John 1:12,13: To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, **NOR OF A HUMAN DECISION** or a husband's will but, **BORN OF GOD**!!

John 6:37,39,44,65: Jesus says, "**ALL** that the Father gives Me **WILL** come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will **NEVER** drive away... And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall **LOSE NONE** of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the Last Day.... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father who sent Me **DRAWS HIM**, and I will raise him up at the Last Day!!... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father has **ENABLED THEM**!!"

Ephesians 2:8,9: For it is by **GRACE** you have been saved, through **FAITH**and this **NOT FROM YOURSELVES**, it is the **GIFT OF GOD**not by works. So that no one can boast. Romans 12:3: For by the **GRACE GIVEN ME** I say to every one of you. Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourselves with sober judgment, in accordance with the **FAITH GOD HAS DISTRIBUTED TO EACH OF YOU**... We have different gifts, according to the **GRACE GIVEN TO EACH OF US**!!

John 15:16: Jesus says, "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit--fruit that will last!!

Romans 9:15,16,18: God says, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God's mercy...Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden. {But God's saints still preach God's Word to everyone}

Revelation 17:14: They will wage war against the **LAMB**, but the **LAMB** will triumph over them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings--and with Him will be His **CALLED**, **CHOSEN** and **FAITHFUL** followers!

Romans 8:28-30; 37-39: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been **CALLED** according to His purpose. For those God foreknew He also **PREDESTINED** to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those He **PREDESTINED, He also **CALLED; those He called, He also justified; those he justified, He also glorified!!... In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, {Nor Adam7777} will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!!

In Him we were also **CHOSEN**, having been **PREDESTINED** in accordance to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity to the purpose of His will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be to the **PRAISE OF HIS GLORY**!!

Thanks George for the mention on my other post.

But I’m not sure what you mean by “no contradictions in the Greek”. Do you have a specific text or manuscript in mind?

I’m asking because there are over 5,800 complete or fragmented Greek manuscripts that are catalogued and contain scribal errors. But thankfully variances amount to only 7% not affecting any major teaching.

Contradictions found in the translations, but not found in the Greek Scriptures

Is there Grace in the example of the Hebrews freed by the Lord and them rejecting Him afterwards and all dying in the wilderness? Maybe that was the Lords judgement, which is also His Grace when He take them out of slavery.

We see in the flood of Noah, the Lords judgement on all of the world. The Lord's grace came by allowing survival, and the example is there again to show how grace is always not far from the Lords judgments. Tell us how you can manage to separate them?

The Jews were then brought into the land of Israel. That was the Lords grace, even was a salvation for them, 100% free, and then all they had to do was not serve other gods, not do evil to their neighbour, they failed to understand how to love instead of hate and received the Lords judgements that He told to us and were all exiled.

In the case of all of these examples, we are instructed how we will receive the same way, if we do not learn from those examples, as they are real and were very costly on who had to be corrected by Gods grace and judgement...

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

Deuteronomy 8:19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

Jeremiah 35:15 I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.

Acts 7:42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

These are the testimonies of God, He did all of these things so we fear the examples, and turn away from them before the Lord turns away from us. But if we believe the empty words of the boasters we follow the same high mindedness and think God does all without consequences for us, that all is so free and all our focus has to be on is reward, but that is what all of these examples did and believed, that is why those same scribes try to divide the word of God wrongly and not rightly as told..

The grace was, or was not, the Lord reserving the seven thousand men, all who had not served the image of baal? So grace works by the Lord and not by what we think or our own opinions which alter nothing. The rest were blinded, that is also the Lords judgement who has right to make one vessel to honour and another to dishonour.

Romans 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

Boast not against the way shown that happened to Israel, through unbelief all are broken off. We stand through faith, if it was free we would not have to fear, but we have to fear, when the teachers are highminded, and can only teach the way of the Lord through highmindedness, of course that way will be cut off as will all who think the judgement will not overtake them, these are pride and sinners will sure be cut off..

Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

18 Boast not against the branches.

Amos 9:9 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

Salvation is 100% free, but ONLY His sheep can hear His voice, and THEY hear nobody else, and they know how to go to Him by hearing the voice of their righteous Shepherd, others are not His sheep, to them it is 100% not free, no bearing the right seed no bearing fruit for those..

John 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

Romans 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Does Jesus need to be lost for us to go to Him? The Lord went to Zion. He did go to seek His sheep that were lost. The lost sheep heard His voice and went to Him. They went into His tabernacles. He compels the sheep, come unto me, and I will give you rest. For the little children to come unto Him. But these words are not abiding in the ones who will not come unto Him...

Jeremiah 31:6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God.

Psalm 132:7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

John 5:38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

We need to hear His voice, which means we need to go to Him to hear Him.

Psalm 95:7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Jesus calls His own sheep, they hear His voice and calling and they do what? They go to Him.(this is what shepherds do, they do not go to the sheep but call them and the sheep know their voice and go to them) So the sheep do find their Shepherd, and He did go to seek those who were lost and found them.

John 10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

Jesus finds the last fold too, and He finds them by what? By them HEARING His voice.

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

It is true the Lord gives eternal life to His sheep, they did not earn that. Notice what the sheep do though. They refuse to hear or follow strangers. The sheep do hear their own Shepherd, they KNOW His voice, they do earn His respect by hearing just Him and following just Him, otherwise what do you think is shown here? Maybe if sheep did go straight to their shepherd in this life they also give approval. They work in union with their Shepherd, for they also are looking for their Messiah..

John 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

John 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

Luke 12:35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

Matthew 13:20-23: Jesus says, "The seed falling on the rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. Adam, you and Ritchard need to learn read, study, and translate the Word, as the two of you cannot stay withthe topic.

Better yet, both can delete your accounts and give the people a chance to discuss the subjects with you 2 clowns posting walls of Scripture not pertaining to the discussion.
