Here are a few verses which reveal the divine nature of Jesus Christ in the Bible. (Source: Notes from <u>Cult Evangelism</c> with Professor Bud Hamilton, Spring 1979.)

My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts. 18 For this is what YHWH says He who created the heavens, He (alone) is God; He who fashioned and made the earth, He founded it; He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited He says: "I am Yahuah, and there is no other (God)."
Isaiah 46
5 "To whom will you compare me or count me equal? To whom will you liken me that we may be compared? 8 "Remember this, fix it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels. 9 Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. 10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.

====================================
Understand that he's talking about the Torah here. When he wrote this, the writings of the apostles were not considered scripture.
Ephesians 1:17 (English-NIV)
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

Isaiah 43:11 and 45:21
I, even I, am Yahuah; and beside me there is no saviora just God and a Savior; there is none beside me
The Biblical instruction that the name of the Messiah must embody the idea that Yahuah is our savior is clear. Below, Joel literally gives us the name of the Messiah, the name that whoever calls on the name Yahusha will be saved. In Hebrew, Yahusha is a contracted form of the sentence Yahuah will save so you can legally replace the phrase below Yahuah will be saved with the contracted form of the sentence name Yahusha:
Joel 2
30 I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, Blood, fire and columns of smoke. 31 The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood Before the great and awesome day of Yahuah comes. 32 And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of Yahuah will be saved
NOTE: which could legally read whoever calls on the name Yahusha as Yahusha is a contracted sentence name meaning "Yahuah is salvation")
So in the scripture above it could be legally translated to say And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of YahuahSHUA directly pointing us to the true name of the Messiah which is contracted form of Yahuahshua using the poetic form of YAH and the Hebrew word for salvation SHUA. Giving us Yahusha.
Below, we see that the messenger of Yahuah delivered the name of the Messiah and the name was given because it is a name with meaning. That meaning is Yahuah will save His people from their sin. That name that was given to Joseph and Mary was Yahusha which was mistranslated into English as Jesus which is not a name in Hebrew.
Matthew 1:21
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Yahusha, because He (YAH) will save (SHUA) His people from their sins."
We see below that the Messiah must come in the name of Yahuah i.e. YAHshua.
Psalms 118
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of Yahuah.
John 12:13
Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of Yahuah
We see below that Yahusha dealt with these same issues as the Jews had removed the name of Yahuah from Yahusha and shortened it to Yeshua in error coming out of Babylon due to reverent stupidity as to not speak the name Yah. Yahusha was not happy with the Jews misusing his name speaking it as Yeshua instead of Yahusha.
Luke 13
34 "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 35 Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, Blessed is he who comes in the name of Yahuah."
Yahusha did not make that critical error of removing the name of Yahuah. He used the name Yahuah often and that is one of the reasons he fell afoul with Rabbinical Judaism of his day as their ears were offended by the use of the name of Yahuah:
John 17:6
I have manifested thy name (Yahuah) unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world"
The Angels instructed Joseph and Mary to name their son "Yahusha" because that name literally declares "Yahuah is salvation". We see above that the Messiah must "come in the name Yahuah" and that the Messiah declared that he fulfilled these prophecies and "manifested the name Yahuah" to the sons of Yahuah. We also see above the Messiah most probably had to deal with the Jewish superstition not to pronounce his name as Yahusha but rather Yeshua removing Yahuah's name and declared "I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, "Blessed is he who comes in the name Yahuah".
It is a clear Biblical command from Yahuah that the name of the Messiah must embody "Yah" and must declare salvation "shua". Any name that doesn't embody this "intent" is a counterfeit. Every time you utter the name Yahusha you are literally making the required declaration in Joel "that whoever calls on the name of Yahuah Will be saved" that is why there is only ONE name under heaven whereby you can obtain salvation.
Please examine all verses in context of the passages in which they appear. The devil is a master of taking things out of context, and one of his primary objectives is to undermine the authority of the Son of God, who is God the Son.
Isaiah 46:5,9 - Who is like God? Who can you compare to God, or to whom can God be compared? Who is His equal? There is none like God.
Phillipians 2:6-11 - Christ is like God, is equal to God.'
Christ is ...
God, is equal to God, is One with the Father, receives worship as God, uses God's personal name as His own, is the Mighty God, Alpha and Omega, First and Last, the Beginning and the End, the Almighty, King of Israel, King of Glory, never ceases to exist as God while on earth, is Savior, existed before incarnation upon earth, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, laid down His own life, took His own life up again with no assistance, was alive and dead, and is alive forevermore, was the payment for the sin of all mankind, is Firstborn (pre-eminent), Christ is like God, because He is God.
"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; who, being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power,
when He had by Himself purged our sins,
sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; being made so much better than the angels, as He hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said He at any time, Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten Thee? And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son? And again, when He bringeth in the first begotten into the world, He saith, And let all the angels of God worship Him. And of the angels He saith, Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire.
But unto the Son He saith. Thy throne, O God,
is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity;
therefore God, even Thy God,
hath anointed Thee with the oil of gladness above Thy fellows." Hebrews 1:1-9
God calls Himself God(again, in the Greek, Theos). Same word, twice. There is no definite article with either, that is to say, not "the God", but "God".
Rather, it reads as follows:
pros de ton uion, 'O thonos sou, 'o Theos, ... to the Son, "Your throne, o God" verse 8
... dia touto exrisen se 'o Theos, 'o Theos sou, ... " therefore God, (even) Your God verse 9
As you can see, the same exact word, Theos is applied to both the Son and God in the original Greek text. God is Theos, and the Son is Theos in the original unfiltered text in Hebrews 1:8-9.
Please review my earlier post on baby Greek to dispel the myth about Theos and ton Theon being different beings. It is a purely a matter of Greek grammar and the function it serves in the sentence, it being the subject, direct object, indirect object, etc, that requires the different endings for words like Theos (God) and Kurios (Lord).
You fail because you refuse to admit that God, being God, is able to take on flesh as a man, and "empty Himself", while still maintaining His divine nature. Christ is 100% God and 100% man at the same time. This is easy for God, but it is hard for your simple man's mind to comprehend, because God has limited your your ability to perceive the truth. God is not a mere man such that He has the limitations which you are trying to ascribe to Him.
