Di Yeshua /Jesus come to take away the sin of the world?

Hello everyone:

Did Yehsua actually 'take away the sin of the world'?

Answer according the the Word of GOD Almighty,NO.

The Messiah had 'taken.or rather lifted or sin to judgement, yet Yeshua did not take away our sin.

IF Yeshua had taken away the sins of the world, then why do both believer and unbeliever still sin / fall short on a daily basis.

For years men and women have been telling the 'church',that Jesus came to take away the sin of the world .

Had these men and women actually looked into the Greek Scriptuers, they might have found the truth,BUT they only go so far as to read the corrupt translations of men.

Here is the translation of the Greek Scriptures,ALL of these translations have added a word which corrupts the text.

John 1:29 ►

Young's Literal Translation

on the morrow John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, 'Lo, the Lamb of God, who is taking away the sin of the world;

John 1:29 On the morrow, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, taking away the sin of the world!

The word 'AWAY' has been added, which changes the text.

The translators have gone so far as to add the same word 'away' to the Word of GOD in John 15:2

John 15:2 Every branch in Me not bearing fruit, He takes it away; and each one bearing fruit, He prunes, so that it may bear more fruit.

In both of these verses of Scripture, the translators have changed the text by adding a word whcih cannot be found within the Greek Scriptures.

Thus changing the text, and thus having the 'church' believing things not contained within the Greek Scriptures.

Just one word can change the entire Scriptures, just ask the false witnesses ( those calling themselves Jehovahs witness ).

Had the 'church' people been taught 'How to read, study, and to translate the Scriptures' ,there might not be such division, and the ringleaders would be escorted out of town.

Blessings

Hi Jude:

The Greek word is 'AIRO' # 142 in Strongs it means to lift, not to take away.

Now here is the Greek text, and the word 'away' is not there.

Jude the next time you look into this do not just use a lexicon,go to the language, for you will find that the translations are really that bad.

I think you're making mountains out of molehills. Jesus lifts the sins of the world, Jesus takes away the sins of the world. If it's read literally, maybe there is a minor difference in interpretation, but it's so negligible that it doesn't change the meaning of anything. If it's read spiritually, which is how the scriptures should always be read, it changes nothing. It is even doctrinally sound, Jesus did die to take away the sin from this world, particularly when He comes in the New Jerusalem. There will be no more sin after the judgement. So you could say that John's words were simply prophetic, he was a prophet after all.

I agree DHTM.

To take away is to absolve

Definition of absolve (vt)

absolve

[ əb zlv ]

pronounce somebody blameless: to state publicly or officially that somebody is not guilty and not to be held responsible

relieve somebody of obligation: to release somebody from an obligation or requirement

forgive somebody: to forgive somebody's sins, especially formally in a Christian church service or
