Well, it doesnt look like anyone is jumping on this one, so I will give it my best shot. As far as I know "Numerology" is nothing more than the act of reducing any numeric sequence down to one single number by adding up the single digits of the number...If the sum is then a 2 or more digit number; then those 2 or more digits are also added together until you have one final "single" number that has some interpretation assigned to it. Thereby by "Birth Numerology" (if there is such a thing) everyone would be classified as 1 of 9 different types. For instance by my 3/11/1951 birthday I would be a...(Let me figure it here) 3+1+1+1+9+5+1=21..=2+1=3.
So I am a 3...I guess. Predictive Numerology, (I am guesssing) would come through adding todays date plus my birthdate number of 3, to attain another number that represents todays date. So if todays date adds to 4 then when added to my birthnumber of 3 Todays number for me would be a 7, which also has some sort of "predictive interpretation" different than a birth interpretation. But I am basically just guessing about most of this. I know virtually Nothing about Numerology...And As far as I know the Bible has nothing at all to say about numerology.
This same method of math (which is all it is) is also used in Kabology too to attain those "base numbers" & stuff. But Kabology is much more detailed & complex, in that it does try to (or at least is capable of) answering questions or perceiving the future by more or less matching numeric associations to certain events or circumstances. I think Kabalogy probably has its roots in Judaism, but I'm not at all sure. I assume that they ran across the Numerics of the Bible & through the years recognized real associations to spiritual/physical realities, that they then organized into the system that we now call Kabalogy. But satan has a way of taking everything Godly & perverting it into some religion.
I myself have nothing against Kabalogy, but perhaps that is because I know very little about it...But I do recognize its underlying principles, & believe there is something there.
But I am not knowledgeable about it or what ever false religious views have been set up around its reality by satan.

I think a lot of people get Numerology & Gematria Mixed Up.
Gematria is the act of Reading the Numeric Values of Letters. The Bible is the Most Amazingly Gematric Writing of All Times. The Gematria of the Bible Cannot even be duplicated by man...maybe not even with computer assistance. All you have to do is Google "Ivan Panin" to get the scoop on that.
There are many forms & methods of Gematria, some of which many of us, including me have used since Childhood. The simplest & most common is the simple English ABC=123 But there are other simple methods too that are just as amazing & revealing. As far as I know there is no reference to Gematria in the Bible either...But like I saiid, or meant to say in the beginning Every Letter & Word of the Whole Bible Presents a Simple Gematria that is so Awesomely Complex that it can be Martveled At Endlessly, but can not be Duplicated. A challenge & reward was even offered many years ago to try to duplicate it.
I Absolutely Love Gematria, but at the same time I have never mentioned it here or used it here in any way because it is a total stumbling block to those who have no understanding. So if there is a way to educate them in the things of Yahweh without using it..that has been my goal.
The "Anagramic Biblical Numerics for Prophetic Purposes" is the only form of Biblical Numerics that I have ever eluded to here. It too is obviously a stumbling block for those with no understanding, but I feel it is my mission to reveal the truths & principles of that system as a part of the unsealing of prophecy. I think that those who stumble over this simple childlike method of Biblical Numerics are already well on their way to falling flat on their faces anyway.
For Alll You "Christians" who think there is something inherently Evil about Numerics I would strongly suggest that you check out Ivan Panins work before you ever say another bad word about numbers, because Nothing Is More Numerically Encrypted Than The Bible & No One is more nto Numbers than Yahweh. His Word & His Universe Testifies of the Divine Origin of Numerics...the devil does use his limited knowledge of numerics to impress people though. But Dont listen to his stuff. Just Listen to Yahwehs Word Which Is Often Expressed Numerically..

Good question. Here is my understanding of what I know and have heard is that numerology is associated with the occult, socerery, tara cards, astrology, magic, and all the rest that man has preverted into his own field of trying to understand the works and workings of God...
God used/uses numbers for His divine purposes, but like every thing good that God has created, man has managed to distort, prevert, and use negatively for his own good and purposes. Therefore, numerology is associated with wicthcraft, and many cultic happenings and things man has chosen to use number for, and as you know these things are forbidden by God for us to involve oursleves with, and in.
As Dan points out much about numerology, so we know that numerology is a science of calulations of numbers trying to determines whatever ... its all occultic practice which God calls sin.

Don't know how reliable it is, a friend referred it to me. There are Old & NEW Testament scriptures about those who practice of and the use of witchcraft, and so on. But nothing specific about numerology. Ella makes a good point. If you stick to the system that God used in the Bible, and use the numbers and their meaning, you are fine. Just as God has always had Prophets to do His work, the evil one has also always had his prophets to do his work. It is a matter of staying focused on God and what He wants, not trying to make something happen.

Please be very careful you don't get too involved in the over drive of your curiosity seeking, and allow the devil to entangle you, by causing you to becoming comsummed with wanting to know even the more...
This is one of the tricks of the devil when against God's people. Some christians become interested in a cultic matter or religion, and their search and research drives them to know even the more, then next thing you know they are so involved, and so deep into the thing that they began to agree with the information the devil is feeding you.
We are no different than those in the Bible, this is why God included eveything possible for us to learn and to know because, in reality, we are they... just another time and space, but we experience/ and are experiencing the same problems, same issues, same same everything as those in the bible's 1st century. And the devil's tricks of his trade have not changed... Dealing with, or even seeking to know more about, occultic matters God has not chosen for you as a ministry, is dangerous. This is why Paul's write about the different gifts, everyone is chosen to deal with certain matters on different levels, especially, demonic things of the devil. Its very suducing and easily deceiving, to possibly think that you're just seeking and researching for information to know for your own self... then you find yourself caught up in it. Not that you shouldn't need to know, but please limit yoru intake of information in such case.

There really isn't much, because most christian scholars know that they should not be getting too involved with it, so their research biblically is limited to only what the Bihle explains to us. God used the meanings of certain numbers in many things, so we can't go past what God opens up for us, without getting into witchcraft.
Hmmm...Ryan..I copied & pasted her link right into the URL Bar & it took me right to it..Not a lot of numbers mentioned but a lot of detail on the 15-20 that they did talk about..I dont agree with all of it & I especially dont understand why every Christian site keeps saying "5" means "Grace"...Even their examples dont make any sense. "5" Clearly means "Judgement", & the only thing Grace has in common with Judgement is that when Grace ends Judgement begins...
But then again Judgement is an act of Grace for those who have waited so long for True Justice.
I guess I will have to dig out my simple little interpretations that I gave up on trying to teach to people because their minds are too closed by fear of numbers. Thanks to the devil :devil:...
