To me, this means that if Jesus Christ and God whom I call Lord, is not in total control over my life in all that I do, then He is not my Lord, and this makes me a law unto myself.
I think this is also in relationship with who I am as a believer in Jesus Christ, calling Him my Lord and Savior, because He gave me salvation, and I am to follow HIs directions and overseer of my life.
He directs my path and has power and has total ownership over who I am in Him, and who He is in me. In HIm I live and have my being, and therefore, he has Lordship, power and authority over my life in all things and brings me into a close connection with HIm when I surrender my all to Him as my Lord.
Therefore, if as a believer I can't give Him this total control and authority over my life then this would place me outside of union with HIm.... if He is not Lord of all everything that I am, and who I am, then He is not Lor at all, there is a disconnect.

i guess i should mentioned this to clarify, the artist is talking about Lord of our lives, cause the next line the artist mentions about Jesus knocking at the door of our hearts. so i guess it could say "if Hes not Lord of all our lives then Hes not Lord at all", if that makes any sense. now granted, it is something that take our whole lives to do, but if we arent willing to give our lives fully to God then He isnt really Lord of our lives at all, and yes we are to do it daily.

This is an open and bold rebuke of Yeshua to the 'Church'.
This is not meant to be a message for evangelism.
Too bad we let So-called Pastors read and tell us what they believe the Word of GOD says.
Believers should read for themselves and rebuke those s0-called men for their unbelief and twisting of the Word of GOD.
