If God is sovereign, always accomplishing what He sets out to do and knows the future, then why would God someone and not choose them? Post Reply

Remember the scripture that says many will come to Jesus and say we did this or that in your name and Jesus will say 'away from me, I never knew you' ? Well it seems that even when a person is called they can come in the wrong way, with the wrong motives. Kinda like your dog who comes only if you have a treat....lol (Reformation theology really screws this scripture up (Matt 23:14) for alot of people, as they do other scripture) Post Reply

Some have been called to go in to the minnistry and the refuse for any number of reasons. Otherwise, all christians are called to go into the minnistry but few answer the call.
