You all did Good Supporting poic

The one that declares Tithing is bondage

The same one that says Confession of the lord is tradition

Why of course the same one that does not believe in church and pastors.

Don't forget the worship leaders issue

You gotta love the I ain't giving money to anyone statement.

Hey it is really cute Two, how you saying tithing is old testament and then you go to the old testament and try and justify what giving really is.

Never mind that Hebrews covers it.

As you applaud your righteousness make sure you think the lord for all your wisdom.

For the their is one thing for sure you have ac-celled in your self rightousness.

Well George you win, you are officially the new savior, the one of the bible is not good enough for you.

PJ, the book of Hebrews is to who? Ummm let me think about this....duh...to the Hebrews?....hahaha...I got one right...hurray! Oh my why do you think it was written?....wow, now that's a tough one, let me think....maybe to show the Hebrews that the Old Covenant was a shadow of the reality which is found in the New Covenant? ....My gosh, wouldn't that be amazing!

PJ, you wanted "cute", now you got it!

What I find 'cute' is your failure to post actual Scripture to support your position, yes I know it is so much easier to be vague and mysterious and it sounds so spiritual!

Hebrews is just the opposite in that it explains the vague and mysterious using Scripture.

I guess this was PJ.'s last confusing, post where he talks down to others for awhile. I noticed he has left again.

I hope he comes back soon. He's a brother, and no one treats him like he is.

I like PJ, he is one of my favorites! I think he puts a emphasis on something most of use put to little on...FAITH. However there still a balance ; there are three things that will last: FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE. And even if one valued all of these but not Jesus Himself they would still have nothing.

PJ, hope you come back soon!

Rachel, I think everyone here treated him like a brother. His posts were just confusing at times.

It's a two way street and we are responsible to speak the truth in love. I have never talked down to P.J. and enjoy discussing the word as family. He needs to stop talking down to people and mocking them, that is not treating others like brother and sister.

If we love each other, we should speak the truth. Hyper-faith preachers are teaching false doctrine. Bottom line.

PJ has the same opportunity to know and teach the truth as any other non-baby Christian here. I care about his soul and what he believes or I would not challenge him or anyone else here.

If they challenge me in a non-condescending, it's the same thing. We keep each other in check, but the name-calling and mocking does nothing for me or anyone here.

Lovely.

He could've been more gentle in what he said, but a lot of it was right.

-there are three things that will last: FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE. And even if one valued all of these but not Jesus Himself they would still have nothing.

Does he not value Jesus?

Also, I fail to see where he called anyone a name. :/

His last post before he left was clearly one of frustration and hurt.

Yes, the facts are, he called names and talked down to me and others in the past. I haven't been in the bible study forum much lately, because of the immature actions of some.

I could have gotten offended and left, too, but I have much worse to be offended over in life. The condition of our world and people's souls offends me enough to keep me praying, more than debating the same subject in this forum.

I spoke to PJ the same way I speak to my blood brother or sister and would do it again. LOVE is speaking the truth, in mercy, not skirting it to keep them happy.

What about Jesus telling the Peter to "get behind Him?" Or telling them they had little faith? Was that love? Or was it truth...in love?

Oh, MissMarvel,...shame, I never implied such a thing! However if one values faith in faith more than faith in Jesus ....well... I let you figure that one out.
