Why Does Satan work so hard at spreading confusion and unbelief about the rapture?

1st Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

15:5353 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Why does Satan continually spread confusion about the rapture, so christians will be distracted and not be doing the work at hand.

1stTh 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

4:15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

If you continue to study this context you will also see the exhortation to be ready at all times.

Satan wants believers to be complacent, and to just walk around numb saying I don't know, maybe so maybe not.

George Jesus is not hope, he is the word so his there any hope in that George what are you saying.

The word is very clear concerning the rapture, and Satan is working overtime to keep Christians in confusion of the times we are living in.

The bible does not teach of the rapture for a way of escape!!

I didn't say Icebro the bible is also clear on that topic but that would just make place for more strife and unbelief to come out.

Personally, I have no confusion or un-belief with knowing that we will be 'caught up to meet Jesus in the air'. Like chevy said in another post, the debate among Christians isn't IF, it's WHEN.

The bible tells us we will not time but we will know the seasons, and Israel is our timetable, the generation that sees the fig tree sprout will not pass away.

okay fine but people have different views of when this rapture happens so i am just trying to see when you think it is cause yes your right Scripture is completely clear but it is completely clear on lots of things i have seen people say the opposite of it really says on here so where are you philip cause i can't read your mind bro,,,people have said things like we can eat anything we want and Scripture does not say that so many say they will be taken away from tribulation but it does not say that ,,it says at the last trumpet right before wrath,,,if you knew the seasons like the Feast you would also see that this trumpet is talking about yom Teruah the day of the mighty trumpet ,,Sha'ul writes that it will NOT come to the believers as a thief in the night cause they are not a sleep in darkness
