Have you ever wondered why the wedding ring is worn on the 4 finger.Posted : 8 Oct, 2010 07:22 PMHmm...I can separate my ring fingers just fine, and I think I followed the directions properly!!! I think it has something to do with being a pianist; my finger independence and flexibility is something that I've been training for the past 18 years. :goofball: |

Have you ever wondered why the wedding ring is worn on the 4 finger.Posted : 8 Oct, 2010 07:28 PMI tried a little bit different hand positioning, and can't open my 4th fingers more than a tiny bit; perhaps I did mis-read the instructions! |

Have you ever wondered why the wedding ring is worn on the 4 finger.Posted : 28 Oct, 2010 06:20 AMThe earliest recorded exchange of wedding rings was in Egypt, in approx 2700BC. The ancient Egyptians and Romans believed that a vein (the 'vena amoris' in the Latin) ran from the 4th finger on the left hand to the heart. |
