By default with many of us who went through secular schooling, we analyze, judge, make a few internal calculations because it is one of the easiest things for anyone to do. Unrighteous judging is basically condemning another, browbeating another, trying to wound anothers heart. This is where Jesus said the measure that you judge, you will be judged also. Righteous judging comes into play when you are around anyone else and notice unaddressed sin in either your life, or someone within your presence. Acknowledging that sin, and taking preventative measures to avoid falling into that same trap laid out by the adversary is where righteous judging should come into action. If you want to try to address sin in another, that's your choice. Truth has a bodyguard of lies. Post Reply

He just wanted to exert his power in front of a young lady. What a beast he was! Post Reply

To hold as an opinion, deem, consider b) To make a critical determination c) To pass judgement on a cause. We need to stop looking at "Judge" so negatively. When we drive a car, we determine, judge the distance we want to keep between the car in front of us and our front bumper. :stop: When we open the newpaper to find a movie to go see, will considier, judge the type and quality of the movie. Is it XXX or PG? What is our opinion of the theme and actors? :buddies: When we go to Walmart for groceries we look at the vegetables carefully. We pick them up and consider, determine and judge if $5.00 is too much to pay for this skimpy looking watermelon. :ROFL: The same thing is for people, especially parents of teenage girls. Parents have to determine, consider and judge if they are going to let their 16yr old daughter go out with friends, go on a first date or..... to a unchaperoned house party. :rocknroll: Just like right now. At one point he even asks, Is there not a wise man among you, not even one, who would be able to judge among the brethren? And also, He who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. We are to use Godly judgment. We can never judge someone's heart, that is not our job, but we can judge their actions. We have been told not to judge for so long, people are starting to use it as a defense for sin. Have you ever gone to a sinning brother as the Bible tells us to do? The first thing out of their mouth is don't judge me. That followed by, remove the plank from your own eye before trying to remove the splinter from mine. Then they can't tell you of a sin you have committed. Good job dear sister, Leon Post Reply
