Something I learned.Posted : 3 Dec, 2010 02:33 PMI wish I knew this 2 years ago if not earlier, but don't hate yourself, especially for loving some one that doesn't love you back, or if you're not everything you want to be. |

Something I learned.Posted : 3 Dec, 2010 03:54 PMI'm not sure how this works, but I think it's self-pity we should avoid. I think it's self-pity that holds us back from going where/doing what we know we should, and not the self-hatred. I think "self-hatred" is actually your "humility/conscience" looking at yourself and seeing a need for a change. It's only when we mix in prideful self-pity in with "self-hatred" that we stagnate instead of changing what needs to change. "It's too hard". "This is just who/how I am". I can't change". "It's not my fault, it's everyone else with the problem". That's a self-loving "ego" having a pity party:party:. You might be talking about something else...but anyway...just some thoughts. I forgot you were back! Where've you been!? |

Something I learned.Posted : 3 Dec, 2010 09:58 PMEnjoying not being on cdff. Just came back because I had a question about college and got pulled back in a little. Probably won't stay long. I dunno. |

Something I learned.Posted : 3 Dec, 2010 11:06 PMThe point I was trying to make is it is if your heart isn't into what you're doing and your spirit is wounded or on life support you will always fail in this competitive world and you won't stand a chance at achieving what you want. If you can't love yourself, how can you expect any one else to? If you don't love yourself, how can you love other people? Rhetorical questions btw. I have no interest in arguing or being judged, which is why I'm not all that interested in staying long. |

Something I learned.Posted : 3 Dec, 2010 11:30 PMWell, I can't guarantee that you won't be judged by everybody ( cough, cough, propheticalling, cough, cough), but I can definitely say that your contributions will be much appreciated by the vast majority of the people here. |

Something I learned.Posted : 4 Dec, 2010 04:57 PMWell, I'll stick around. I'm having a hard time seeing what the point is, but I'll stick around and see what happens. |

Something I learned.Posted : 5 Dec, 2010 02:31 PMI just think self-hatred gets a bad rap sometimes. I do think you should stay, if only to steel yourself against people judging you. It's gonna happen. Maybe we should start a "young guy" thing! I've always wondered if it would be creepy to look for dude friends on dating sites, lol... |
